Emily:
I smiled and nodded, "Yeah, anything would have been better than hitting the floor, so thanks for catching my clumsy self," I said. His arms weren't exactly soft, but I certainly wasn't complaining.

"Could also use a better stool you know.". I glanced down at the stool then again to Emily. It had been years since I had held a beautiful girl in my arms like this and it was with some reluctance that i lowered her legs so she could stand on her own.

Emily:
Even after my feet hit the ground, it took me a second to release him completely. Maybe I was trying to make sure I had my balance, maybe I just didn't want to let go. "Believe it or not, I wasn't actually planning to fall off it," I smirked and turned back to the stool. "Me and Lex are cleaning but since you're here, she's free hang out," I told him, glancing over at her to send a wink her way. Then I turned back to the stool and started climbing back on.

"Ha. I do wonder what you did have planned.". I replied with another brief smile. I turned then to look at Lexi and spotted that wide smile and arched brow as she looked between myself and Emily.

Emily:
"Ha ha" I said, giving him a playful glare as I hopped back onto the stool. Very carefully, so as not to embarrass myself, I stood up and reached for the boxes again. "Thanks again Lex for helping me," I said, focusing on pulling the box down.

"Of course. I will be right back though. This box is done.". Without another word she zipped inside leaving the two of us alone.

I regarded the door for a moment before looking to Emily. "She is planning something I know. But is there anyway I can help out?"

Emily:
I grabbed the box I had wanted and held it out to him. "Here, you can hold this so I dont break my neck coming down from him, I said, handing off the box. "And what could she possibly be planning?" I asked, jumping off the stool. "The only sneaky thing that girl does is hide candy in her room," I giggled, wiping my palms on my shirt because it had gotten a little dusty.

I took the box, holding it against my plain grey shirt. Balancing it carefully into one arm I offered the other palm up to help her down. "I haven't the slightest.". I felt my phone buzz in my pocket of my blue jeans but I ignored it for now.

Emily:
After he helped me down, I took the box back from him and set it on the floor by my feet. "I'm sure she's not doing anything...probably just wants to show you some of her art or something," I said, shrugging. I finally got a good look at him and giggled. The box had been dusty and now the whole front of his shirt was covered in dust. I reached out to swipe some of it away with a grin. "So what are you guys gonna do today?" I asked.

The military had seen to it that I had next to no fat on me, though I had worn a loose enough shirt it wasn't fully noticeable until touched. "Glad I came prepared to work in old clothes. But I don't really have plans. I was wondering if I could take both of you to lunch before I head out of the city for the evening."

Emily:
I got slightly distracted when swiping the dust away by how muscular he seemed underneath the shirt. "Uh, what?" I asked, shaking myself a bit and looking up at him. "I wouldn't want to take any time away from you two together," I said, biting my lip. I was just her nanny. He didn't have to invite me just cause I was here.

"Don't make me turn this into a kidnapping.". I threatened as i folded my arms. "I want to take both of you. Lexi will come willingly and I think I have proven I can carry you off."

Emily:
I laughed and folded my arms right back, trying to match his perfect posture. "First of all, the only reason you could carry me at all was because I literally fell into your arms. I wouldn't make it so easy if you were kidnapping me. And second, I would love to come with you guys so there's no need to threaten such things," I giggled. "However, I'm totally not dressed to go out," I said, looking down at myself.

"It is also still morning. We have time to finish here then go.". I laughed and shook my head slowly. "So you can change later. Don't need to dress up, I didn't bring a change of clothes except my uniform and pt clothes."

Emily:
I laughed and nodded. "Okay, you got yourself a deal," I said. "But just for the record, its the not the same thing because you actually look good in your uniform," I told him. I quickly walked over the the box Lexi had done and see she had sorted the contents into a few piles. I quickly through out the unsalvageable stuff and put the rest off to the side.

"and you think you don't look good now?". I asked under my breath not really intending for her to hear. "I am going to go find the munchkin and see what she is doing. I shall be back soon."

Emily:
He said it quietly but I still heard it. "No...I mean the opposite of that," I told him. "But okay, have with that. Im gonna get another cup of coffee, do you want any?" I asked, heading for the door.

"Yes please.". I called to her while making my way into the living room. Thumps from upstairs had me heading up and down the hallway.

Emily:
I headed to the kitchen and poured two cups of coffee. I added cream and sugar to mine and kept them on the counter next to the cup I poured for him. Then I sat at the table and slowly sipped it. I rested my head in my hands and relaxed but kept telling myself not to fall asleep again.

I found Lexi furiously scribbling at a, piece of paper, and i settled against the door jam to watch for a few moments until she noticed me.

"Oh! Done flirting?". She grinned and hid whatever she had been working on.

"I wasn't flirting.". I protested with a laugh to which she gave me a pointed look and walked up.

She hit my arm then before linking her arm with mine, "You were and it's okay. Emily is wonderful and amazing and i approve."

Laughing as I led the way down the hall I replied, "Playing matchmaker? Well...who knows. Anything is possible."

Emily:
I might have started dozing off at the table but when I heard footsteps, I straightened up a little. "Your coffee is ready!" I called in the general direction of the footsteps.

"I found our trouble maker. Though i couldn't catch what she was doing.". I said while walking into the kitchen. I had taken a moment to scoop up Alexis, and was holding her under one arm to which she struggled until looking ti Emily with s begging look for help.

Emily:
I giggled and put my cup down and stood up, slowly walking over to Lexi. "Don't give me that look, I can't help you." I smirked. I reached out and wiggled my finger for just a second on her side where I knew she was ticklish. Then I walked past her to the counter to grab a glass. If we were having coffee, she could have chocolate milk or something.

A scowl lit uo her face at Emily's betrayal. It only made me laugh as I set her down onvthr ground and added a little cream to the cup left out for me.

Emily:
I giggled at Lexi's face and poured some milk into the glass her her. Then I set the chocolate on the table in front of her so she could add as much as she wanted. Mostly so she would stop looking at me like I wounded her. "So what were you doing upstairs?" I asked, grabbing my coffee cup again and taking another sip.
