University Roommates (Restart)

Natasha:

I watched the two of them as Ash immediately yanked his cup away from her. Something wonderful happened then, he let out a low chuckle and the corners of his mouth quirked up. I grinned, unable to hide my joy over the matter. I had barely seen him smile since he moved in, much less laugh.

Emily:
I glared at him and narrowed my eyes when he yanked his cup away. I decided to appeal to his sense of logic and also make him pity me. "Look, you have to admit you took way more of my candy..." I said, holding out my cup so he could see. "Now if you would stop being unreasonable, we can settle this matter like adults."

Ashton:

“I took more candy that you took chocolate, because you have more candy than I have chocolate. You practically have more candy than ice cream.” I insisted, holding my cup well out of reach from her. I felt good and I was having fun this evening, so much so, that I didn't even notice the change.

Emily:
"I do not!" I said, fighting a smile because it kind of true. I slumped back in my seat when it became clear he wasn't going to give it up. "I'll remember this..." I said with mock sadness, pouting out my lower lip a little. I looked at my ice cream and grabbed another spoon full.

Ashton:

“You do that.” I shook my head with another chuckle, aware of how close she still sat. “I guess no one wants a bit of my ice cream to settle the debt?” Tasha offered. I gave her a look. “You got the most boring thing out of them all.” I teased lightly. “Nothing wrong with plain chocolate.” She shrugged, good-naturedly.

Emily:
I rolled my eyes at his comment and laughed at Tashas choice of ice cream. Then I finished up mine, making sure to get every last piece of candy. When I set my empty cup on the table, I looked at Ashtons longingly. I looked at him and faked a gasp, "Oh wow, look who's behind you!" I said, hoping it would distract him from noticing my spoon headed for his cup.

Ashton:

I looked at her with raised eyebrows, not for one minute fooled by her act. Even though I knew the little brat was mostly faking, her longing looks got to me and without a word, I offered her the last bite of my nearly melted ice cream.

Emily:
I smiled wide when he finally gave in and scooped up the bite he offered me. After swallowing it, I set my spoon down and lightly pushed him. "See, was that so hard?" I asked

Ashton:

“I grew tired of your pouting,” I said with a shrug, still amused by her antics. I looked to my sister while the slowly finished her cup. “Are we ready to go?” I asked as she had driven us.

Emily:
I laughed and shook my head, grabbing all the emoty containers to throw them away, "When we get home, who's watching Harry Potter with me?" I asked, bouncing a little in my seat.

Ashton:

“Oh good Lord!” Tasha laughed and rolled her eyes. “I like Harry Potter, I'm down,” I answered her. My sister looked up at me in clear skepticism. “Fine… I suppose we can watch it tonight. But, it will not be a marathon night,” She gave Emily a warning look. “One move then we are going to bed.”

Emily:
I laughed and stood up. "You cant tell me what to do, I make my own bed time" I said, sticking my tongue out at her. "Now lets go, Harry waits for no one."

Natasha:

Back at the house I sat in the middle of the couch while Em prepared the movie. For a moment, a flicker of disappointment flashed across Ash's face. I could only assume that it was because he wished to sit next to her. I had a major suspicion that he was into her.

Emily:
I put the movie in and then plopped myself back on the couch. I dropped my feet into Tasha's lap and smiled sweetly at her. "Look at you, actually happy for once to be watching Harry Potter...who would have thought." I giggled.

Natasha:

I laughed and shook my head. “Who would have thought.” I humored her, she probably knew the true reason I was enduring the movie was to spend more time with my brother. Ash seemed content enough to watch it. Just you wait, I thought at him, you’re going to get so sick of this.

Emily:
I again talked through the whole movie, which annoyed Tasha to no end and when the final credits rolled by, I grabbed the remote to play the next one, hoping Tasha wouldn't notice.

Tasha:

“Really? My goodness. I'm going to bed, I have to be at the clinic first thing in the morning.” I got to my feet and waved them both goodnight. There was no way I was going to stay up into the wee hours just to watch Harry Potter.

Ashton:

After my sister left I stretched out more to get comfy for the next movie which included putting my feet on the table once I was sure she was in her bedroom. “I like this one better than the first.” I commented after it began.

Emily:
I stretched out like I did earlier in the day, curling my feet up right next to him. "Yeah but none of them beat the Goblet of Fire," I commented, staring at the opening credits.

Ashton:

“I disagree, the Goblet of Fire was a cool movie, but it was nothing compared to the book. I think Prisoner of Azkaban was the best adaptation.” I sat through a couple minutes of the movie. “Or maybe Order of the Phoenix.”

Emily:
"I mean, all the movies are good, but I dont think any of them hold a candle to the books." I said. "With that being said, Goblet of Fire was clearly the best movie. Cedric Diggory is hot as hell and I dont care what you say,"I said, smirking as I tossed a pillow at him.

Ashton:

“Oh Lord, are you one of those?” I caught the pillow and hugged it under one arm. “I bet you like Twilight too, huh?” I rolled my eyes. We were now several scenes into the move and had talked through most of it. Tasha would have been pulling her hair out.

Emily:
I giggled and shook my head. "I wouldn't say I was a fan but I'm also not blind to Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson." I said. I held my hand out. "Now give me my pillow back," I demanded.

Ashton:

“Nuh-uh.” I hugged the pillow tighter with a sideways glance at her. I briefly wondered if she was trying to make me jealous by speaking of hot guys. In a way it was working, but I would never admit it.

Emily:
I sat up a little. "Listen, I'm gonna get the pillow back eventually so just give it to me now and save yourself the trouble," I said, holding out my hand closer to him.

Ashton:

“You know, you threaten but you don't ever follow through. You're like a hissing kitten with no bite.” I told her with a concealed smile on my lips.
