Assassins of Gineadon (mfkrwill and me)

Lexi quickly explained to Michael about what had happened last night with Elsa and seeing Graves and a tall cloaked figure talking and what they said. "If I heard his voice again, sir, I'd be able to tell you who it is. But I didn't see his face. Elsa escorted me to my room and we haven't seen her since."

Scout shook his head, worrisome. "What do we do, boss? It sounds to me like this is a lot bigger than we realized. Gotti and Hayes appear to be involved but I won't know for sure without further evidence. And I'm worried about what he said about new recruits." He looked around at all the fresh, young faces. "Our security is at it's lowest point here. He could sneak in more men."

Michael listened to everything silently, nodding to himself at the statements. "I think... IM going to put an executive decision for you to go through with Graves' interrogation, Will. I have to draft up the paperwork and put it in place. If we cant find Elsa, You and scout will be the ones to abduct Graves' capiche?"

Will nodded, "Will do sir."

"Good. But until I get that through we need to act like nothing is happening. I cant risk causing problems during inductions and exams. So we lay low for a day or two while I get things ready"

"A day or two?" Lexi was surprised at how long it was going to take but she was sure Michael was doing his best. He had to play the political game with the big wigs. "That's a lot of time for a lot of people to go missing."

Scout agreed, shaking his head. "I'm going to get extra friendlies on security duty. People I know I can trust but I'm not going to say anything, just to be on the safe side. I'll do that now before anything gets started." He wandered off, grabbing a few people and pulling them aside.

"Unfortunatley its the best I can do. It takes a while to put something like that through." He says looking at Lexi. "I also need to keep it under wraps in case Graves' finds out, dont want him going AWOL"

'Its fine, Mike. We will make sure nothing else happens. I promise." Will says, shaking his head. He finished up his food and went to put stuff away. "Exams are going to start soon," he says to Lexi. "Medical exams are in the medical wing, its through the east corridor in the main room. Weapons exams will be at the firing range.

Lexi nodded, standing from the table. "I'm on my way. I want to get this over with." she said, wandering off to the medical wing. Hospitals were her least favorite thing in the whole world. She fixed up almost all of her injuries herself with the exception of a few that needed surgery. She was sure she owed the state thousands in medical bills.

Eventually she found her way there and stood where a line started forming. From what she could tell, all in all, there were 50 new kids, including her. That was a lot more than she had anticipated.

After a little bit of a wait they eventually got Lexi in with Dr Harlow, one of the higher ups in the hospital wing. She greeted Lexi with a smile and brought her into the examination room, which was pristinely clean and packed with all the latest technology in the medical world. It pays to be partnered with the government.

"Well, miss Rose, this is going to be a pretty standard check up so there shouldnt be anything to worry about." Dr Harlow says with a kind smile. "A normal physical examination, eye sight, xrays to check if there are any major abnormalities in your skeletal structure, etc. etc. Is there anything you have any concerns about? Like any specifics we should check?"

"Um..." Lexi sighed, trying to remember every single injury. "I've never been to a hospital and I've had 5 broken bones, at least 21 fractures, and over a 100 severe lacerations over my lifetime. So. All of it?" For the first time, she seemed quiet and foreboding and not the sweet and excitable girl she had been the first day. She was scared. Doctors usually spelled trouble for her and with the Graves situation, she didn't exactly feel any safer.

Elsa thought she was dead for a good fifteen minutes before she realized that she was just in a pitch black room and so drugged up that she couldn't feel her body save for the cold stone floor beneath her back. She twitched her fingers, trying to regain motion and simultaneously trying to remember the events that brought her there but they were blank. Fuck, she thought worriedly. Was it Graves? What happened? Where am I? FUCK.

Dr Harlow gave a half smile, "Alright, well, a full check up then." She says going to grab some of her supplies.

The whole process took about half an hour, and it went smoothly, all things considered. Full body x-ray, physical, blood pressure, blood work, etc. etc. Dr Harlow looks over the x-rays closely. "Well for someone who worked on her injuries herself with little to no professional work done, your bones look in great shape." She says. "I can tell in some areas where it didnt set perfectly, but there isnt anything too out of the ordinary. Worst i can tell is your right wrist may need work in the future if it every starts giving you problems." She says pointing it out and looking at her, "if you end up making the cut dont put that off if it comes off, hm? Other than that youre looking fine, a lot better than I expected after you said you took care of everything yourself"


(So what should I do in the Elsa department?)

"I had a friend who was an army medic," Lexi explained, smiling at the doctor, starting to feel like her old self a bit after a decent diagnosis. "He taught me everything I needed to know, and I had already had enough practice as it was." She hopped off the hospital bed and stretched a bit, rotating her right wrist. It was her dominant hand too. Maybe she should have it completely and totally looked at before she took on any crazy missions. "Thank you. Now do I head to the weapons part?"

((If you want to control one of Graves' goons, you can basically do whatever you want. I'm making it up as I go XD It's kind of a sandbox thing and feel free to do whatever you want lololol)))

"Sure do! Weapons testing will be at the firing range. I would imagine some people are already out there." She says with a warm smile, "Good luck!"

Graham stood outside of the holding cellar they were keeping Elsa in. They were far from the mansion now, somewhere outside of Harbinge which was a good 4 hours out. Graham and a few other guys under Graves' team managed to knock out and kidnap Elsa. Once they got more of the loyal AoG S and A class assassins out of the way, it would be a much simpler task of taking over. Graves had tried to convince Blake to join the force, but that didnt go well.

Lets just say she was no longer seeing daylight.

He plans to try and do the same to Elsa, as well as any further captives. Either they join in, or they wont be heard from again.

Lexi thanked her profusely then raced off to the firing range and was delighted to see a lot of recruits gathered, ready to test their skills and show off. She was certain she would be just fine. Guns weren't her specialty but she's used a wide range of them throughout her life and was confident that her skills wouldn't fail her.

Elsa crawled to the door, having regained most of the feeling in her body again. She managed to pull herself up into a seated position and look through the keyhole to see one guard guarding her. She sighed softly and sat back down just out of reach of the door. She'd have to regain her strength before trying to pick the lock with the bobby pin in her bra and taking on the guard.

Will, Scout, and Michael, as well as a few others who were judging the new recruits were all out on the field. They were scattered, watching the recruits that caught their eye: odd choice in weaponry, excellent aim, ability to dismantle and fix a gun or melee weapon, etc. Will glanced up when he saw Lexi coming down to the field, a small grin popping up before looking back at the people he was watching: two recruits duking it out with bo staffs. Not typical, but could be useful in a situation where you had to improvise a weapon.

Graham heard some movement coming from the room, it was all concrete and steel, not very sound absorbent. He opens a small viewing slide in the door, seeing Elsa was awake. "Rise and shine," He says with slight sarcasm. "I wouldnt try anything fishy. Door is loaded with a shocker if it starts getting tampered with." He says nudging the door with his foot. "Id get comfortable. Boss should be here in a little while"

Elsa cursed over and over again in her head for a moment before remembering to try talking to the guy and seeing if she can get some information out of him. "Oh yeah? And who's your Boss? I bet he ain't as scary as mine!" she taunted, cracking a smile at him through the viewing slide.

Lexi immediately picked up her throwing knives from her own pockets and made quick work of her first target, hitting three bullseyes in a row before throwing a fourth that hit so perfectly that it knocked the other three off of the target. Next up were a few different guns. She showed her hand with a pistol and a sniper rifle, both being completely perfect shots. The only one she had issue with was the shotgun, it was too big and bulky of a gun for someone of her stature.

Graham gave a small look, chuckling and smirking at her, "Michael? That fat fuck? Scary? Youre delusional." He says, looking at her through the opening. The fact she was trying to taunt him was amusing, "youre not exactly in the position to be taunting me. Or anyone else who may come and guard for that matter."

Will had managed to peel away from some of the other recruits, standing a little ways away from Lexi to watch how she handled weapons, making mental notes. "You know you dont have to be amazing at every weapon, you know?" he asks her, noticing her troubles with the shotgun. "No need to get frustrated." He comments, chuckling a little. She was doing above average in the weapons department, only a few other recruits were matching her when it came to accuracy.

"HA. And Graves is sooooo terrifying," Elsa laughed, rolling her eyes. "In comparison to Michael, he's a piling piece of horse shit, is what he is. And he's what? Selling people to slavery now? How original. Like that hasn't been done for thousands of years."

Lexi growled at the shotgun before giving up on it and moving on to hand-to-hand weapons. She gripped the bat comfortably and turned to face him. "I need to perfect. So I can become a perfect assassin." She met his eyes, grinning widely. "Care for a duel, Mr. Goodnight? I have a feeling that you may lose."

His face furrowed slightly as she spoke. "Graves? Why the hell would he be our lea-" He started to say but was interrupted. He glanced away at someone else talking to him, "Sure. Understood." He nods, glancing back into the room before sliding the viewport closed.

Will looks at her with an amused look but shakes his head, holding a hand up. "I think i will respectfully decline for now." He replies, looking at her and watching just incase she made a move regardless. "Dueling is later this week. I may partake. Today im just watching." he says. The two tests he enjoyed participating in was interrogation and dueling. Which were usually the last two events to take place. He went to say something else but was distracted, looking off to another station, seeing Graves talking, well harassing a recruit.

What the fuck? Graves isn't the leader? Elsa wondered, pulling her knees up to her chest. Then who is their leader? She shuddered, remembering just how many skilled assassins who were in the league who pretended to be friends with her and the others. Any single one of them could be the leader of this coup now and she had no way of getting that info to Scout. They were looking after the wrong guy.

Lexi watched where Will's eyes went and she scoffed a little. "What an asshole. I wonder what he's up to..." she went back when another recruit came and offered to duel her. A rather lanky boy with sharp eyes and a great hand at hand-to-hand or so he boldly proclaimed to her as soon as she agreed.

"Let's duel, pretty boy," She growled at him, swinging her bat around. The recruit brandished a metal pipe which would certainly do some damage if any of his attacks hit.

IF.

Scout announced the beginning of the duel and all went underway. The recruit, Malcolm Bayerd, swung at Lexi only to hit empty air. She appeared behind him, hitting the bat at the back of his knees, forcing him to the ground the swiftly kicked his behind until he was sprawled out on the ground. He yelled in frustration and came up quickly, ready to hit, swinging furiously. His aim would've been perfect save for Lexi countering his attack with her bat and smacking him in the stomach with the bat then again in the ribs. She roundhouse kicked him and he lay dazed, staring at the sky. She turned, eyeing the other recruits with a smile on her face. "Who's next?"

After the dust settled, with Malcolm laying dazed and confused on the ground, no other recruits eagerly jumped into the sparring circle Lexi was issuing. Will chuckled to himself walking up to Malcolm and helping him up, "come on champ youre still alive." He said getting him to his feet. "Go to the medical wing if you still feel beat up." He says. Malcolm said he was fine, stumbling off to another post to test his aim.

Wills gaze turned back to Lexi, "Impressive. Ill be interested to see what you can do without a weapon. Like i said though, later this week. Youre getting good marks so far on my end"

"I better hope so," Lexi winked at him, saluting. "You and I both know that I'm the best recruit you got coming in. Despite all the obviously talented individuals," she said, shooting a look at Malcolm who had failed his first attempt at throwing knives.

She glanced at Scout who kept scanning the whole group. At this point, he had a permanent worry face on. "I'm worried about Elsa," Lexi sighed, changing the subject. "Something tells me that something else is going on."

"I cant say that youre the best definitively yet. A bit too early," He says looking over at Malcolms attempt at throwing knives as well. "Although, certainly better than some." Will replies, shaking his head slightly, turning his attention back to Lexi. "As for Elsa, i know the feeling. Im not sure what to make of whats going on. But I think we can safely assume she isnt on the grounds anymore. Just a theory, i suppose, though"

"I want to be out there searching for her... How much longer is this supposed to last? No one wants to fight me," Lexi pouted, glaring at all the new recruits that were whispering about her or staying away from her and refusing to even glance in her direction. "I want to search the grounds..."

Scout wandered over and thrust his hands into his pockets, eyeing the new recruits. "A couple of them seem suspicious," he murmured into Will's ear. "Look at your 10 o'clock." There were a boy and a girl team both with completely shaved heads and weird tribal tattoos on their cheeks and necks, They were in sync with each other as they dueled. A circle had formed to watch their curious dance-like performance. "They're quiet, they don't socialize with anybody, not even to each other. They keep eyeing the stronger recruits like they're meat."

Will glanced over at the two Scout was whispering about. Yeah, it was odd, but nothing he hadnt seen before. "Maybe? I dunno. They look like they are from Hassan." Will says, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it. "Not to be stereotypical, but when I was there a lot of them were like that. Quiet, secluded. Intense fighters, too. Those who trained in that country are taught mental shit i can barely understand. Keep an eye on them if you want. But i dont think they are a threat.

"As for elsa, again. I cant do anything until michael puts the order through.... not within legal grounds anyway." Will responds to lexi.

"I can search for her. I'm not signed to any sort of contract yet," Lexi retorted, crossing her arms over her chest and looking very defiant. "I want to look for her."

"Well, we can't stop you but we can't really help you either," Scout warned, shaking his head. "Like Will said, we're kinda stuck until we get an a-okay from Michael. The only thing I've been okayed to do is watch Graves."


"Speaking of...where is he?" Lexi asked.

"I'm not sure but he won't be here with the new recruits..." Scout sighed, looking around for him anyway.

Will gave Lexi a small look, shaking his head lightly. "You may not be under a contract, but youre also being watched 24/7. I cant guarantee that going off and looking for people will not effect you in any negative way, hm?" He says. Although Will appreciated her eagerness, he knew it wasnt exactly the smartest thing to do.

"He is probably off making fun of people and being an overall asshole."

(Do you want to skip forward a few days? We can go forward to the interrogation exams and do some more stuff with Elsa as well)

Lexi frowned but knew he was right. It was unprofessional for her to be running around like she owned the joint especially on her second day here. "Fine. You're right. I'll keep my head down but I don't know how long I'll be able to keep myself in check." she admitted, shaking her head.

Scout shrugged, looking around. "We have so much shit to do getting ready for the recruits anyway... We won't really be able to look until it's done anyway. Who knows what he's doing to Elsa..." He was tense, watching all the new recruits.

((a few days later))

Lexi was ready. It was the interrogation exams today and she felt more ready for that than anything else. It wouldn't be her first time being interrogated and she heard whispers through the new recruits that it would be like a virtual reality thing.

She had spent the past few days integrating herself into the new recruits and learning everything she can about them, especially the people who were almost guaranteed a spot in the AoG. Scout spent most of his time stalking Graves or looking for Elsa when he wasn't helping Michael set up for the newbies. He was really, really worried about Elsa and everyone could see the dark circles under his eyes. Whispers were going through the regular recruits, wondering if her disappearance was anything like Blake's.
