Body Guard

Julie:
I smiled softly and bit my lip before nodding. I wasn't sure where all this was coming from, but I decided to just let him make me feel better. I pushed the flyaway hairs that escaped my ponytail back behind my eat and gestured to the weight lifting section. "Go ahead, pick things up and put them down," I joked. I picked a treadmill for myself and started pushing buttons. "I'll be over here, trying to work this stupid machine," I told him, glancing up over my shoulder.

"If you need help let me know. But I'm going to start by changing into workout clothes." I waved a hand then went off towards the lockerroom. I changed into a Tanktop and shorts and also grabbed a set of gloves. Redressed I glanced her way before starting at one end of the room. I hoped to work out all of the major muscle groups today. If nothing else my core, shoulders, and legs.

Julie:
I ran for about an hour before I physically couldn't anymore. I didn't jog or walk. I ran as fast as my legs would take me until they almost gave out. The entire time, my mind was racing along with me. I might have to try this working out thing some more. It was oddly therapeutic to run in silence and just let your thoughts run wild. I thought a lot of about Ryan and those other guards. I thought a lot of Cody.

I stepped off the machine and braced myself on my knees as I tried to catch my breath. I was covered in sweat and I was sure I looked like a mess.

My breaths were ragged as I pushed through another sit up. My body ached and still I forced myself to do another one before I dropped back heavily onto the bench. I had tried to make myself remain thought free during my workout, focusing instead on what I was doing.

Groaning through my teeth I sat up, straddling the bench. I felt like I was dripping with sweat and as I worked on catching my breath so too did my thoughts return to me. My thoughts and my eyes went for Jules, checking on her to see how she was doing. I huffed a soft laugh as I got a good look at her rear from my position. Shaking my head I forced myself to my feet and went for the drinking fountain against the wall.

Julie:
When I lifted my head up, I braced my hands on my hips and started to get my breathing under control. I spotted Cody over by the water fountain and I made my way over to him, hoping he was done so I wouldnt be subjected to any more torture.

"I think I'm dying, just so you know. In case you want to look for other jobs," I joking, leaning against the wall next to the fountain.

"Dying? I didn't think you were that weak. Maybe I should make you run more often." I spoke only after taking several long drinks. Wiping off my mouth I looked her over a moment. "Still, you look like you had fun." She looked like she was as sweaty as I was. Maybe even more so.

Julie:
"I thought we had established that you cant make me do anything?" I asked, letting my head rest on the wall. In reality, we had established nothing of the sort. I wiped my hair back away from my face again, some of the baby hairs were stuck to my forehead with sweat and I was sure it wasnt a pretty picture. "Are you ready to go?" I asked. "I want to shower and try to remember how to use my legs," I whimpered and rubbed my hands over my thighs. They were already sore. I was scared of how they would feel later.

"I'm pretty sure we established that I could." I countered back. I gave her another glance over then nodded. "Yeah I'm ready to go. I'm gonna join you in regards to a shower. Hell you should consider taking a cold shower and then following it up with a nice hot bath. Might help your muscles and help you relax afterwards. If you can get one, a massage would be good. Or in the most basic, you need to stretch when we get back."

Julie:
I couldn't help the smirk that crossed my face when I pushed away from the wall. "Are you offering to give me a massage?" I asked. I knew that was not what he was offering, but I didn't let him say it. "You know, that really goes above and beyond the job requirement but I would feel rude declining," I said, heading for the direction of the door.

I opened my mouth to protest, nearly getting it out before she was accepting the supposed proposal and moving towards the door. With a half amused roll of my eyes and a shrug towards the heavens I followed after her. I'd never given a massage before. Even in my small dating life. But really how hard could it be?

Julie:
The way back to my place was spent by me dragging my feet and complaining. When i finally got to my door, I pushed it open and kicked my shoes off my feet. "Im going to take a shower," I said over my shoulder at Cody.

"I'll meet you out here in a few minutes then. Go make yourself smell better." Waving a hand her way I went into the guest room I usually used. Closing the door behind me I went for the shower, leaving a trail of clothes behind me on the way.

I was showered, scrubbed, and smelling much better myself within ten minutes. I took my time getting dressed, eventually settling on shorts and a T-shirt. I left my discarded clothes on the floor, choosing instead to go out and prep the couch and ottoman.

Julie:
I took my time in the shower, letting cool water run over my body until my fingers got pruney. When i got out, I twisted my hair into a bun and slipped on some comfy clothes. I dragged myself out into the kitchen to get a water bottle and glanced at Cody as I passed.

"What are you doing?" I asked, unscrewing my bottle and taking a sip.

“Getting ready to be comfy for the rest of the day.” I finished making a good place to lay down then finally looked at her. “Or it could be used by someone who is going to make me give them a massage.”

Julie:
I smirked and recapped my water bottle. "You dont have to beg, if you want to give me a massage that badly, I allow it," i said. I walked closer examined the set up and nodded appreciatively.

Rolling my eyes again to myself I motioned for her to get comfy. “Maybe I just want the excuse to feel you up a little.” I managed to say it with a completely straight face but only just so. It wasn’t exactly a lie either. But I pushed that thought deep down.

Julie:
I set my water bottle down and skipped over with a smirk. "Who said you'd need an excuse." I joked back, giving him an exaggerated wink before laying down on the couch.

I hadn’t expecte her response or skip to my words. But her wink had me laughing and shaking my head. “Fine fine. I will keep that in mind for the future.” Once she was in position I settled down and gently set my hands on her right leg.

Julie:
For some reason, as soon as his hand touched my leg, I started giggling. This wasnt something he usually did. I had been kidding when he mentioned it, but when he seriously offered, I wasnt gonna say no. But now, him touching my like that was funny.

Snorting I squeezed her leg and then went for her foot for a little bit of tickling. So long as she was laughing I was content. But I stood up anyway, figuring the massage just wasn’t going to happen. Instead I moved over and joined her on the couch, dropping down heavily beside her.

Julie:
I giggled and pulled my foot back when he started ticking me. I sat up when he squeezed in next to me and looked at him. "You arent very good at that, im sorry to tell you," I joked. "And you didnt even try to feel me up."

"I don't think I'd be able to feel you up without making you dissolve into hysterical laughter. I barely even touched your calf and you couldn't stop giggling." With a grin I claimed a little more room on the couch now that she was sitting up. "And I know I'm not good at massages."

Julie:
"I couldnt stop giggling because you started tickling me," I argued, poking his side. I'm not sure exactly what I was arguing for. Its not like I actually wanted him to feel me up...

I kicked my feet up on the table and reached for the remote. I figured we could watch a movie for a while. "Is there anything else you had to do today?" I asked him.

"My usual job only. Keeping you mostly out of trouble. Which as a bonus is easy to do when you are a mostly lazy creature." I mimicked her feet, bringing mine up onto the table. My thoughts were elsewhere than the moment now. Thinking about the upcoming visit by the Prince.

Julie:
I rolled my eyes. "Only you would call me lazy after I almost killed myself exercising," I said, pushing his shoulder like I was offended. And only he would call this job easy. I knew how hard it was. Especially after Ryan.
