"It wouldn't have killed you if you had at least kept up on it in the first place." I nudged her right back before continuing to tease her, "You are like a cat. Lazy most of the time but active when it suits you and only you."

Julie:
I let my jaw drop and scoffed at his description, even though it was kind of funny and maybe a little true. I pushed him harder and tried not to laugh. "Uh, first of all, Mister, you didnt do any cardio at all. Anyone can lift some weights up and down," I said, sticking my tongue out at him.

"Oh yeah? Tomorrow we'll trade then. I'll do cardio, you can weight lift. It's a deal." Pushing the thoughts aside I reached between us, digging through my pocket to pull out my phone. "I'm calling in some drinks, and dinner. What would you like?"

Julie:
"I dont know how im supposed to lift weights when my legs feel like jello, but fine, we'll switch if it will humble you," I said, smirking.

"And you promised some junk food before, so I would like Mac and Cheese." I suggested.

"Done." Dialing to the kitchen I put in the order. Her Mac and Cheese, along with a Phillycheese steak sandwich for me. I also ordered a bottle of wine, a bottle of rum, and some cokes. I figured she could use a break, enjoy herself a little. But I also wanted to relax myself.

Julie:
I heard him place the order and I raised an eyebrow. A bottle of while and a bottle of rum? I guess we were having a party. "What do you want to watch?" I asked, waving the remote around at the TV. "I'll let you pick, since you ordered my mac and cheese," I said, smiling sweetly.

Taking the remote I flipped through the selections then settled on the first movie of a series. Something we could watch for a while by just queuing the next after. "How's this? We can watch a bunch. And it's been a while since we've done a marathon on it."

Julie:
I smiled and nodded at his selection, settling into the couch as the first movie started. When there was a knock at the door a while later, I smiled sweetly again. "Since you got to pick the movie, I think its only fair that you get the food," I said, revealing my motive.

"Hey! What was that about since I ordered huh? Maybe I'll just have all the food for myself then!" Even though I protested I forced myself onto my feet, grunting softly as my muscles protested the movement. Mumbling under my breath about being abused and taken advantage of even as a faint smile touched my lips I went to the door and taking the cart from the assistant cook with a nod of thanks. Wheeling it inside I transferred the trays to the counter then returned the cart and bid them a good night.

Julie:
I laughed at his cute little grumbling and sat up a little since the food was here. I propped a few of the pillows up on the couch for us to make it easier to eat and paused the movie so he wouldn't miss anything. "Did they give us utensils?" I asked.

"No. But I've kept some extra here in one of these drawers." Digging through a few I located enough utensils for us to use as well as snagged some extra napkins to add to the tray. One of the bottles of wine was on ice and I brought that over with the other bottles of alcohol to set on the table. Returning to the tray I snagged up a pair of wine glasses and two glasses to use for the drinks. With the tray filled I carried it over to the table and dropped it down with another grunt.

Julie:
I smirked and looked at him with a shake of my head. "Stop being dramatic," I chided. My mac and cheese was in a bowl so I grabbed it and stuck a spoon in. I also grabbed one of the glasses and poured myself some of the wine. "What are you having?" I asked, holding up the wine bottle in question.

"I was hoping for something a bit stronger to start with. I'll have wine in a bit." I scooped out some ice into a glass, poured in a generous portion of rum, then opened the coke to pour on top. Taking the glass with me, and my plate with sandwich and fries I settled onto the couch beside her again, setting the food in my lap.

Julie:

I knew he could handle his alcohol a lot better than I could so for now, I would stick with the wine. I took a few bites of my creamy mac and cheese and settled into watch the movie, feeling more content than I had in a while.

After the first movie, all my mac and cheese was gone and I was quite a few glasses of wine in. I tried to be sneaky and reached my hand over to his lap to steal a fry. Only its very hard to be sneaky after a few glasses of wine.

I was slower in taking in my alcohol than she was, but I went through two full glasses of my drink before I joined her on the wine. While she devoured her food over the course of the movie, I took my time and slapped at her hand when ever I caught her going for my food and this time was no different. I slapped at it but only succeeded in spilling some of my fries off my plate anyway.

Julie:
"You are being selfish!" I whined, my voice only slightly slurred. I grabbed one of the fries that fell off his plate onto the couch and ate it. I picked up the other ones that fell off the plate and set them on a napkin and put it on the table so we could throw them out. I pouted. "I would never hit you," I complained again, taking another sip of my wine.

"You could have asked first!" I protested. I looked at her then at my remaining fries. "If you just asked I'd have given you some." Picking up my wine glass I drained the rest of it before placing it back onto the table.

Julie:
I finished off the last of my glass and set it down and then looked at Cody. I turned back to the TV and tried to be strong, but I cracked after about five minutes and looked at him again. "Fine...could I please have a fry that has not first touched the couch?" I asked, sarcastically.

I'd expected her to ask right away, but I was impressed she held out as long as she did. Sarcasm aside I offered the plate out to her with a smirk. "Of course, thank you for asking."

Julie:
I glared at his smirking face while I reached onto his plate to grab a fry. I took two, just cause he annoyed me. I also may have let my finger dip into a bit of the cheese sauce left over from his sandwich and then, may have smeared that across his face.

"Cody, you really need to be less gross when you eat, you have food all over your face," I told him, smirking back.

I gaped at her after her cheesy assault. "Oh you so did not just go there." I looked at my plate consideringly. There was more cheese left over...I could return the favor. But that was too easy. I set it on the table instead. I had an idea in mind, but I knew the best way to get at her wasn't instant retaliation. So instead I set the plate onto the table beside our glasses.

Julie:
I watched his face closely as he set the plate down on the table. My entire body was tensed as I waited for retaliation that never came. I relaxed after a moment and refilled my glass. I took a sip and then set it back down on the table.

I watched the movie for a few minutes before leaning forward and going for the wine still in the ice bucket. Uncorking it I poured a glass before stuffing the cork back inside and while I was there I went for an icecube, tucking it within my fist while my other took the wineglass with me.

Julie:
I didnt see what he was doing, but I could tell the second he was up to something. I squinted at his seemingly innocent form and took a another sip of wine, looking at him over the top of the glass. "What are you up to?" I asked, my voice slurred, slightly. My cheeks felt a little warm and I knew they were probably pink from the wine.

I took a long sip of my own wine while fighting a growing smile. "I'm not up to anything at all." I settled back and turned my eyes on the movie. Rolling the ice around my palm while keeping it hidden I tried to shift it towards my fingers to make it easier to grab.
