Body Guard

Leaning back I laughed softly, "I suppose you have a point." I didn't move right away, I kept my eyes on hers. I took a drink then licked my lips clear of any residual root beer before finally standing up and moving into the kitchen. I settled against the counter, leaning back against it and crossing my arms.

Looking at her I raised an eyebrow, smirk crossing my lips. The look plainly saying 'your move'.

Julie:
I smiled as I watched him stand up. He crossed the kitchen to lean against the counter and gave me a look that made butterflies swarm my belly.

I got up and turned to face him. I slowly walked closer and looked him from top to bottom. “You were wearing a tie...made it easier,” I whispered.

I licked my lips once before I was right in front of him and then I lifted my hand till it was at his chest and I grabbed the material in my fingers.

I pulled him closer and gently pressed my parted lips against his.

I missed her words and started to part my lips to ask what she'd meant. Her taking up my shirt and pulling me down into a kiss waylaid my question.

Slipping my arms around her waist I pulled her a bit closer. My eyes drifted shut and I couldn't help but sigh happily into the kiss. This wasn't as good as the kiss during the ball, pent up emotions and a great evening fueled us then. But in it's own way this one was fantastic.

Julie:
I moved my hands from his shirt to the back of his neck and stood of my tip-toes to get closer. This was the first kiss that wasn't impulsive and it was different. Still good, but different. Slower but deeper. I tilted my head and parted my lips against his once more before pulling away. I only moved my lips away though and stayed pressed against him while he leaned against the counter.

"Any second thoughts?" I asked after a moment of catching my breath.

With her already so close and all but leaning against me I relaxed my hold on her. I searched her face, unable to keep the soft smile from my lips. Raising one hand I brushed my thumb along her jawline for a moment. I moved my hands together then keeping them around her until I could slip them into the back pockets of her jeans.

"Not at the moment, I'm sure if they come up you'd be more than willing to...help chasing that away." My soft smile turned into a lazy grin, "I get the feeling we are going to make lots of excuses in that regard."

Julie:
I smiled back at him when I felt his hands slide into my back pockets and ran my fingers through the hair at the back of his neck.

His smile was almost intoxicating and I lifted one hand to gently trace his mouth.

"You know you don't need an excuse, right?" I asked, trying not to laugh.

Kissing her finger tips, my eyes danced. "Oh? No excuse huh?" Without further ado I nudged her hand away with my cheek then went in for a brief kiss.

Pulling back I sighed softly, "Could get used to that you know..." I focused on her eyes, just enjoying the moment and feeling of being with her. "And I feel it could be dangerous...I do have some things to take care of today and yet I could just picture spending all day kissing you."

Julie:
I pouted at his mention of leaving and tightened my hold on him just a little bit. I was an odd feeling, holding onto him, acting like a couple. Odd, but not bad. It was like I had been waiting for the freedom to touch him like this and now that it was here, I couldn't get enough.

"Where do you have to go?" I asked, trying not to sound too disappointed. I wanted to keep exploring this new level to our relationship. Mostly with my lips.

"I'm going to school in the fall remember? I have to finish up my paperwork and register for my classes. Plus I do need to do a bit of actual work today." Pulling a hand out of her back pocket I ran my thumb over her lips.

Her pouting was hard in it's own right, it was unfair how someone could tug at my heart with just a small move. Add on the disappointment in her tone and it was a struggle just to not give into her desires.

Julie:
This was the part that sucked. He worked. So he would have to leave. And now with school on the horizon, he would be even busier. "Don't you do that stuff on the computer now?" I asked, letting my lip brush against his thumb before I reached up to grab his hand in mine. I looked down at our hands and then back at him.

"When are you planning to leave?" I asked. "Right now?"

"I never said I had to leave. Just have things I need to do today. Things that I can't do while kissing you." It would be easier to do my work in person down in the security department. But nothing was preventing me from remote connecting to the servers from my laptop.

Casual as it was I liked having a hand in hers, and just a hand touching her in a way I never would if we weren't together.

Julie:
My pout turned into a smile. "Oh? Well in that case, no problem," I told him. I almost said that he hadn't mentioned anything about me kissing him, but I feared if I did, he would go to his office.

"I can help with the school stuff," I offered, taking a step back so I wasn't leaning on him. I let my hand drop from behind his neck but kept my other one in his.

I was disappointed when she pulled back. I liked having her against me and she moved far enough away that the hand I still had in her back pocket slipped free. "I would appreciate it, get our laptops and set up somewhere?"

Julie:
"Do you want to sit on the couch or your room?" I asked. I would have offered my room, but he had a tendency to snoop and if I got up to go to the bathroom or get a drink, all bets were off.

I raised an eyebrow at her choices, "My room? Why mine but not yours huh?" I had an idea as to why she didn't want to do hers...but it had been a while since I'd done anything to warrant it.

"Are you just wanting to snoop or take my stuff?"

Julie:
I smirked and shrugged as I pulled him in the direction of his room. "You've got nothing I haven't already seen," I told him. It was probably true. Everything in that room I had put in there while he was in the hospital.

I made the choice for him and stopped when we got to his room. "I'm gonna go get my laptop, you figure out what forms you have to fill out," I told him. I reached up to kiss his cheek quickly before letting go of his hand and going to my room for my computer.

"Fine fine." She was more or less true. Since settling in I'd added a few things here and there. Expanded my wardrobe just a bit with more casual clothes instead of things more work related. But nothing that I wasn't willing to show her.

Grabbing my laptop I got situated on the bed, kicking off my socks and shoes onto the floor. Opening it up and logging on I started pulling up my email to go through the forms I needed and the class list I'd started working on.

Julie:
I quickly changed into a pair of yoga pants and grabbed my laptop off my desk. Feeling more comfortable, I went back to his room and knocked once before pushing the door open and padding over to his bed in my sock covered feet.

I climbed up next to him and opened my laptop. "Are you going to be going to campus?" I asked, logging on to my computer. "Or are you thinking more online stuff?" I asked, curious about his plans.

"More online. The campus is a bit far to be driving everyday. Here I can send you a list of stuff I was taking a look at for classes." I gave her a brief once over when she came in, a smile crossing my lips until she got settled on the bed.

Julie:
I got comfortable against his pillows and looked through all the paperwork he sent me. The classes he wanted to take seemed interesting and I was sure he would do really well in them. After a while, and after filling out most of what he needed, I looked over at him.

I slid a little closer and while he was in the middle of reading something, I grabbed his face and turned his head towards me to plant a kiss on him. I didn't linger and pulled away quickly, smiling.

"Sorry. I just like that I can do that now." I told him.

So the new operation procedures include mandatory first aid training to all guards. On top of increasing the physical requirements and tests. But they aren't willing to increase pa- I was in the midst of my thoughts when suddenly my eyes were yanked away from the screen and she kissed me.

Stunned I just blinked at her after it was done, lips parted. "Y-yeah. That is nice." As my brain caught up to what had just happened I grinned at her.

Julie:
I smiled back at him and looked back down at my computer screen. It was hard to not keep distracting him but I liked it a lot more when he worked from here and I didn't want to ruin it. When it seemed he had moved on to his actual job, I clicked away from his school paperwork and onto my favorite online stores. If I hurried and ordered a few things, they could be overnighted and be here with the mail in the morning.

After her distraction I was slower in doing my work, instead peeking over at her screen every now and then to see what she was up too. After a couple hours of work even with my glances I finished up while she was still looking at shops.

Setting aside my laptop I turned and grabbed her face to kiss her. I didn't do a quick little kiss like she'd done, choosing a more solid and lingering one before I pulled away. "That's for distracting me."

Julie:
I was just about to finish my transaction when my head was turned and my lips were on his. His kiss was a lot better than mine had been, mostly because it was longer. I was already smiling when he pulled away and giggled at his words. "You know thats not exactly a punishment," I told him.

I turned my eyes back to my computer so I could quickly finish paying for the things I had bought and then I closed the computer and rolled on my side to face him. "In fact...it really just makes me want to distract you all the time," I told him, smirking.

Smirking I shook my head, "Are you asking me to punish you then?" Reaching over I trailed a hand slowly along her side, pausing close to her stomach. The temptation for a quick tickle was immense but I drew my hand back, chuckling softly.
