Body Guard

I narrowed my eyes. I had been close to abandoning the food for later to instead kiss her. But now that she was saying to eat I felt I had no choice but to go against what she told me to do.

Half crawling on the couch I moved over to her and cupper her face in one hand and turning it to face me. "Get around to it huh..." I muttered softly. I locked my eyes onto hers for a moment then claimed her lips in a kiss.

Julie:
As soon as his mouth touched mine, my eyes fluttered closed and I threw my arms around his neck to pull him closer. I was determined to stop being so shocked every time he kissed me. But it was hard because every time he got close, my heart felt like it was going to beat out of chest.

I parted my lips against his and had to stop myself from going any further. Taking it slow, taking it slow...

I settled some of my weight on her, keeping myself a tad propped up as I pressed my lips more firmly against hers. I felt my heart began to beat quicker, especially with her lips parting. If I wasn't so occupied I would have snorted a laugh. So much for trying to take it slowly...

Julie:
I tilted my head and moved my hands into his hair. This was very quickly approaching a make out session and while I was all for it, I didn’t want to do anything that we would regret. I just couldnt bring myself to pull away.

For taking it slow...just making out with her wasn't so bad. And I didn't doubt I wasn't the only one enjoying themselves. I didn't know if this was her first time making out with someone, it wasn't mine at least. But this felt better than my previous experiences.

Could be Julie's exuberance, could have something to do with just pent up feelings leaking out, but maybe it was because this was just right.

Julie:
I could remember the almost kisses I had with Ben, and I could recall the few times I had kissed boys at various events but nothing would ever compare to this feeling. I pulled my mouth away from his to catch my breath but kept my arms wrapped around him. “Wow,” I breathed, with my eyes still closed.

Huffing a soft breath I opened my eyes. I was surprised to find that I was breathing hard. "Wow." I repeated her word softly and then continued with a faint husky tone. "Is that what I should look forward too in the future?"

Julie:
I opened my eyes and looked him with a smile. Since he was still so close and i couldn’t help myself, i pressed my lips to his cheek and then trailed kisses to the spot just below his ear. “Trust me, you won’t find me saying no to that,” I whispered, right next to his ear.

I made an appreciative sound in my throat at her kisses. I felt warmth flush through me at her actions. God she makes this hard to take this slow, I thought. It was so tempting to fight fire with fire on top of it.

"Good." I murmured back.

Julie:
At the sound he made, I kissed it jaw one more time. I was tempted to keep exploring whatever it was that made him make that noise, but I decided to be good.

“You’re really good at that, you know?” I said, with a smile.

"At what exactly?" Grinning I propped myself up more, getting a better look at her face and attempting to escape her addicting wandering kisses.

Julie:
“At all of it, pretty much,” I smirked. I noticed him trying to put some distance between us and wanted to pull him closer, but I loosened my arms a bit instead. “You’re gonna be trouble for me...” i trailed off.

"Ha. And you aren't?" I laughed and narrowed my eyes at her. "Maybe I should just give you a taste of your own medicine..." Leaning down I ran my nose along her neck and breathed out slowly, barely brushing my lips over her skin before I pulled back. "But I think you'd like that too much..."

Julie:
My breath caught when his nose skimmed my neck and my eyes fluttered shut when his breath fanned out across my skin. I hadn’t realized how sensitive my neck was. I bit down hard on my lip at the barest hint of his lips before he pulled away.

“If you’re gonna tease me every night now, let me know in advance,” I whined. “I’ll have to start avoiding you an hour before bed,” I half joked.

Snickering I shook my head, "That's no fun to do...and besides do you really want to avoid me for that long?" Leaning down I kissed her for a brief moment, "If you do then you cant get any good night kisses."

Julie;
The truth was, I couldn't avoid him, even if I wanted to. I smiled and kissed him back before he pulled away. “You’re right. I want goodnight kisses too much to avoid you,” I admitted. I turned my head slightly to the side and laughed. “I think we missed the whole movie. You can be very distracting,” I said.

Glancing over I blinked at the screen. "Oh. So it would seem...we also kind of missed dinner too and it's just about time for bed."

Turning my attention back at her a smile came over me. "Worth it though...I don't know about you but I'm fully wanting to do this again another time." If this was a taste of what I could expect being with her, it was far too easy to just become addicted to it.

Julie:
I laughed. “I did tell you to eat your sandwich first. Not my fault you dont listen to me,” I joked. I softened my gaze when mu eyes landed back on his and I leaned up for one more soft kiss before I pulled away. “I agree though. Could definitely do this again,” I laughed and couldn’t help the blush that spread around my cheeks.

"Have I told you that I like seeing you blush?" I pulled away entirely then, sitting up to stretch a bit. "Hey I just realized something, so we are making this official right? Us? Together? Dating."

I searched her face for a moment, waiting for the answer. Being friends with benefits wasn't a bad thought, but I definitely wanted something more substantial than that.

Julie:
His comment made me blush harder and I sat up when he pulled away. “Uh... I guess so? Is that what you want?” I asked. I couldnt pretend I didn’t want more than just occasional kissing with him.

"It is." I smiled at her, "Hold on." Leaving I went into my room and dug around the spare boxes in my closet. Finding one I brought it down and pulled an old bottle from within. Carrying it out I smiled softly at the label then brought it to the kitchen to grab a couple glasses.

"A long time ago to celebrate my birthday you got snuck a bottle out of your father's collection and we shared it between us and some of your friends. We were dying from even the smallest sips then, but when I got older I found the name of the bottle and ordered myself one from Ireland." I dropped down beside her and set the glasses on the coffeetable before trying to work out the cork from the bottle. "Your dad always had expensive tastes...it wasn't easy to get another bottle of it. But I figured if ever I had a time when I wanted to celebrate something special I wanted another glass of it."

I trailed off a moment as the cork popped out. Taking a brief sniff of the whisky inside I poured a small bit into both glasses then set the bottle on the coffeetable. I offered one of the glasses to her while keeping hold of the other, "Never found a time before this that was special enough for me to try another glass."

Julie:
I watching, confused as he went to his room. I could hear him digging around, but I wasn't sure what he could possibly need right this second. When he same out with an old looking bottle, I was even more confused.

We had plenty of alcohol in the kitchen and we could probably ask Lucy for anything we didn't have.

I felt my confusion turn into a smile when he explained. I took the glass he handed me and shook my head in disbelief at how sweet it was. "I can't believe you ordered another bottle," I said, taking a sniff of the liquid.

I held up my glass to toast. "Here's to us. Here's to great kisses and figuring out our relationship," I said.

"It was the celebration liquid at the time and figured eventually I'd have a chance to do it again one day. Terrible as it was at the time." Raising my own I clinked it into hers.

"To us. To kisses, and more." I agreed then downed the whisky. It was still harsh, but not nearly as bad as it had been that day. If anything I liked it and enjoyed the warmth that spread through my stomach.

Julie:

The whiskey made me warm, spreading from my belly up to my cheeks. "You know this is just gonna make me more sleepy, right?" I asked, setting my glass down when I was finished with it.

For once, it felt like I might actually sleep well. There was nothing to worry about, no events to be nervous about. There wasn't even any confusion about our relationship anymore.

"I'm aware. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is getting late and I'm sure you could use a moment to catch up on some sleep." I set my glass down beside hers and recorked the bottle. It was now ready for the next time I had something to celebrate.
