Michael:

I looked down at the ground now working through a different set of emotions. And also trying to guess why she cared about me.

Krissy:

I glanced sideways at him, the sun shining orange light in my eyes. "What are you thinking?" I asked guessing he was thinking of his master.

Michael:

I turned my face to look at her. "About why you care about me." I smiled appologetically. "Now including you I can name two people who care."

Krissy:

I blinked in surprise. “Then you must not know many people.” I said softly.

Michael:

I shook my head. "I don't, but then people tend to not like having me around." I shrugged and looked up at the darkening sky.

Krissy:

I shifted over and rested my head on his shoulder lightly. “I like having you around.” I said quietly.

Michael:

I hesitated for a moment before resting my head on top of hers. "Thats good to know." I said just as quietly.

Krissy:

I smiled. “I mean it, I am really glad we met, I’ve never known any one like you.” I mumbled blushing a little.

Michael:

I blinked then burst out laughing. "I don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing." i said when I stopped laughing.

Krissy:

I grinned. "Mostly good." I said quietly. It was nearly dark now; the sky was streaked with purple and blue.

Michael:

I looked up and frowned slightly. "I sometimes miss seeing the stars, but its a small drawback to living in a city."

Krissy:

“One of the draw backs and it is a bit bigger than that.” I looked up at the sky. “We used to live in Texas out in the country. The stars were crystal clear there and the moon always seemed bigger, some times it was bright enough to read by at night. I loved living at that house, but we had to move if we all wanted to stay together because of what my family does.” I said softly.

Michael:

"You have a family though, one who cares for each other a lot." I smiled at her gently. "Its something I have never had, and Ebony was glad to be rid of."

Krissy:

I nodded slowly. “Yes and I wouldn't give them up for the world, I just wish my life wasn't so fragmented.”

Michael:

"Well don't worry, unless I'm wrong Ebony should kind of help fix the fragments. Her time with her family was not pleasant and she will work hard to bring you all together so that you don't have the same problem she did." I said then smiled slightly "Besides I don't want to see her hurt your brother if he leaves on a mission right now."

Krissy:

“Oh, I doubt he'll be leaving any time soon.” I said and smiling lightly.

Michael:

I chuckled softly and put an arm around her shoulders. It was rather peaceful and I liked it right now. It was helping me to push down the emotions brought on by my master falling sick.

Krissy:

“I'd rather be the one to leave,” I mumbled looking down at my lap and leaning against him slightly. “I am tired of being stuck at home. I want to be an assassin like every one else in my family, like you and Eric.”

Michael:

I laughed but there was no joy in the laugh. It was bitter, and my tone showed it a bit. "Take Eric's life, you don't want to be like me." I removed my arm from around her and stood up. When I turned to look at her my face was expressionless. "Come on lets head back, the others will be getting worried about you." I said my voice also having dropped emotion.

Krissy:

I sighed and got to my feet looking up at him. I didn't want him to be all like this. I took hold of his hand again. “Let them worry.” I said lightly taking a step in the opposite direction from the house pulling his hand with me.

Michael:

I tilted my head and let her pull me along. My curiosity was getting the better of me. In fact for the most part my instincts were based on curiosity, it was troublesome at times.

Ebony:

I had curled up in Kyle's lap and had accidentally fallen asleep. I woke up and stretched lazily, yawning hugely I looked up at him. I smiled slightly as I looked at him imploringly "Kyle you promised me dinner remember?"

Krissy:

I smiled as we walked along the dark street only every now and then lit by a street lamp. “How did you end up with Ebony?” I asked.

Kyle:

I chuckled. “Of course I didn't forget.” I lied with a smile, in truth it had slowly fallen out of my mind through out the day. “You want to go tonight?”

Ebony:

"Of course!" I chirped. "Besides, what else do we have to do?" I asked tilting my head a bit. I winked at him playfully "and as good as it sounds kissing you won't fill me up."

Michael:

Seeing her smile slowly brought out one of my own. "I think its less that I ended up with Ebony and she ended up with me." I chuckled ruefully. "She grows on you in strange ways, and then eventually you can't think of parting. But I met her in Germany, she was almost dead and was practically frozen solid." I looked down at the ground trying to remember. "I was with our master at the time, and I had just become a student. I brought her to him and he saved her life. Since then she has been in my life."

Kyle:

I laughed and kissed her quickly, winding my arms around her waist before pulling back. “Alright, whatever you like.” I said smiling at her. Eric had disappeared into the kitchen shortly after Krissy left and was likely pouting while helping himself to his own dinner.

Krissy:

I squeezed his hand lightly. “You lived in Germany? You don't have an accent that I can place.” I said while looking up at him.

Michael:

"I wasn't born in Germany, I did live there though. In truth I don't know where I came from. I just remember trying to find someone to teach me to be an assassin, beyond that nothing." I shrugged lightly. I had come to terms with not knowing a long time ago, it seemed pointless to dwell on something I couldn't change.

Ebony:

I smiled into the kiss, giving a small pout of my own for having it end so quickly. I rolled off of him and onto the floor before scrambling to my feet. "So where are we going to go?" I asked smiling at him.
