"Think we should check on the one girl?"

"Which one?" I asked.

"the one who is dying"

"She's fine, see?" i asked and pointed to Lena. It was Ridley we should worry about. Dark Casters couldn't use Light magic without hurting themselves.

"oh right..'

"I'm going to check on Ridley," I said.

i nod and kiss her cheek

I stood up and went upstairs.

I knocked on the door a few times but there was no answer. I finally opened the door to see Ridley on the ground.
"Lena!" I yelled.

i hear vi yell and i hea dup there

Lena ran up with Will and looked at her cousin. She growled in annoyance and looked for a spell.

"what happened?"

"Dark Casters can't use Light magic without causing some harm to themselves," she said and continued looking.

i nod "how bad is she hurt"

Lena:
"Her powers are shot. When that happens, we pass out. But it's actually pretty bad. She really shouldn't have tried that spell," I sighed.

i nod

"She'll be fine," Lena said and i nodded. She told us to leave so she could do the spell.

i walk out silently

I followed. I sat on the stairs.

I nodded.

i sit next to her

"That was the price. Lena was meant to die. But Ridley saved her, so she died instead. Lena's Casts won't help the fact that she's dead," I said softly.
