I nodded mutely.

i kiss her cheek "it will be ok"

I nodded and half-smiled.
"Its her cousin," I said softly.

and?"

"She's dead. I know that she wasn't the best person, but I wouldn't want my dad dead even if he is an asshole," I said and shrugged

i nod

"Well, now that i think about it i wouldn't mind seeing him - nothing," I said when i realized Ahana was listening.

i look over "hey kid"

"What were you going to say?" Ahana asked me.

"nothin" i asnwer for her

"She was gonna say somethin," Ahana said and looked at me.
"I wouldn't mind seeing him dead," I finished, looking at her calmly. She paled.

i frown

I pressed my lips together

"Was that necisary Vi?"

"She asked," I said, my jaw set. Tears pooled in the younger girl's eyes and i sighed. i got on my knees and hugged her.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it," I whispered.

i rub my temple

I bit my lip and she whimpered. Obviously she wasn't as okay with death as I was.

i look at her

"Your going to have to deal with it sooner or later, Hana. Better be sooner," I sighed.

i rub my eyes and sigh

"Your terrible! Why are you so mean all the time!" Ahana said.
"I've had to be. C'mon, stop your crying. It doesn't solve anything," I said to her.

"vi. shes a kid. Stop"

I set my jaw and nodded. I looked at her calmly until she stopped crying.
"When was the first time you screamed?" I asked her, a bit calmer.
"Last year," she answered meekly.

i listen to them

"Anything since then?" I asked her and she shook her head.
"No. Lena, that's it," She said and I nodded.
"I'm going to take you to the hospital," I said to her.
