Lexi looked up at Kyle sadly. "I screwed up AGAIN," she stated.

you didnt do anything wrong lexi" i sigh

Kyle:

“You didn't do any thing wrong, exactly, but if you hadn’t run off this wouldn't have happened.” I said quietly.

'you need help up?"

"As I said, I screwed up AGAIN." Lexi said, chewing on her lip. "I'm sorry..."

Kyle:

“Don't worry about it sweetheart. It's all good as long as you're mostly okay.” I kissed the top of her head.

"come on lets get her back to the house so i can stitch it up. i doubt krissys up for it" i sigh

"Let's get back to your uncle's house..." Lexi whispered, kissing his chin.

i resist making a face or noise at that. "come on' i help her up gently

Kyle:

I smiled slightly at her and wound my arm around her waist as we walked.

"Thank you, Will," Lexi whispered, smiling at him. "You saved my life yet again."

i laugh a little "Ive outnumbered yours to mine" i say. "i think youve saved mine..twice." i laugh. a little. im a little proud of myself for not fighting with kyle yet

Kyle:

I tightened my arm around her waist slightly but didn't make a single comment to Will.

Lexi smiled. "Actually, I think we may be even now. Either way, I owe you one."

i nod "lets hope we dont have to add anytihng else to that debt. or pay it off. id rather none of us get into life or death situations"

"That would be nice but for some reason, I doubt that's going to happen..." Lexi mused.

really?" i laugh a little "tommorow im going to walmart and get new shirts'

Kyle:

“I've got some back at the house you could have.” I said glancing at him.

Krissy:

I waited at the end of the drive way praying Kyle would bring Lexi back both unharmed.

Jake waited with her, hoping the same thing.

Lexi looked up at Kyle, surprise immeninent on her face. He was being...CIVIL toward Will?! What happened while she was out?!

i look at him. after a moment i nod "yeah, ill try them on see if they fit. thanks..." i say not sure what else to say

Lexi looked over at Will and back to Kyle. "It's official. I've lost it." she concluded.

Kyle:

I chuckled and bent a little to kiss her quickly. “That's nothing new.” I said teasingly.

Lexi thumped his chest lightly. Up ahead sat their uncle's house and she frowned as her brother spotted her and stood up. "What's he doing here?" she wondered.
