I knocked it away from raven.

it roared at her and tackled her

I beat the thing and clawed at it.

it raised a scythed hand

i screamed in pain.

"Leave her alone please I'll do anything." I begged the thing." Kill me I don't care just leave her alone."

it raised the scythe higher before bringing it down, cutting into an artery. then the female left, knowing she would have food for her young in an hour

i coughed up blood as i tried to breath.

I ran to her." Oh no God no." I cried as I held her in my arms.

i closed my eyes as i started to pass out.
