I frown "bull. whats wrong"

Ellie:
"Want me to tell you what happened that day?" I whispered, the pillow still over my face. I didn't want to move it.

"yeah." i say softly

Ellie:
"I don't know what happened with Callum and Taylor. After sparring for about an hour, we were in your room. You asked me to stay with you, in the castle. Hidden. So you could see me all the time. You... asked me if you could kiss me. We were about an inch away before the demons came in and picked me up. I started crying, begging you to help. You tried to get me away from them but they just shoved you away. I was screaming, begging for help. Taylor came out of her room and smirked at me. Callum came out of her room and tried to run after me but she stopped him. You know the rest," i shrugged.

i frown a little bit "Damn." i rub my temples. I had no idea of anything that day except knowing ellie. "I had no clue any of that happened..."

Ellie:
"That was the last time i saw you and Taylor. I didn't know why she hated me that much. I don't remember how long i was tortured. The days blended together. But when Callum snuck me out, he said you asked him to. I tried to see you but he said your memory was gone. That you would try to kill me," I whispered.

i frown a little "i would never."

Ellie:
"Without your memory of me, it would look like some random angel sneaking into Hell. You would've turned us both in. You said that you would try to overthrow your father so it would be safe for me to come to Hell. Maybe some of that stuck," I laughed softly.

i nod a little bit "yeah i guess so"

Ellie:
"I've changed a lot though. I thought by kissing you, it would give you your memories back. But i forgot about this," i pulled the pillow off my head and tapped the star on my cheek.

i nod a little bit "im sorry ellie...' i sigh

Ellie:
I shrugged and pulled the pillow over my head again.
"Its fine. It doesn't matter," I whispered.

i take her hand softly "it will be ok"

Ellie:
I set my jaw and pulled my hand back.
"No it won't. You should read what Dreyah wrote," I whispered.

Ellie:
"I don't know if its permanent or what. I just read what she wrote once. In one of the battles, I was gonna die trying to save you. And Callum is going to try to save Taylor even though she hates him," I whispered.

i frown 'it wont happen i promise" i say softly

Ellie:
"That, my friend, all depends on what we do," I shrugged.

i frown "ill make sure that it doesnt happen"

Ellie:
"You couldn't stop me," I shrugged.

i frown a bit "come on, cheer up" i saw softly

Ellie:
I shrugged and played with the knife i still had. I wasn't watching what I was doing since the pillow was over my head.

i pull the pillow off "come on."

Ellie:
"What do you want me to do, huh?" I asked calmly. I ran a hand though my hair and went back to messing with my knife.
