Perfect Assassins

Michael:

I chuckled softly and got up as well. "As much as you should rest, and let your leg heal. I know you wouldn't be happy just having me take care of you. I'm offering to help, not do it for you."

Krissy:

I grinned. “Alright. You can pull out the ingredients and bring them to me.” I said while I made my way to the stove.

Michael:

I nodded and as I passed her I pressed my lips against her cheek quickly, leaving the ghost of a kiss on it before waiting for her to tell me what to get.

Krissy:

I blushed faintly knowing my uncle had probably seen that and definitely wouldn’t approve. I thought for a moment about what I wanted to make then shrugged. “Pull me out the eggs please.”

Michael:

I obeyed wordlessly, getting out the eggs for her and setting them down next to the stove. I waited patiently for the next items.

Krissy:

I pulled out a bowl and a pan and started cracking eggs into the bowl. I glanced up at Michael who appeared to be waiting. “Oh, that’s all.” I said with a sweet smile.

Michael:

I smiled and nodded, going back to my place at the table and sipping at my coffee.

Krissy:

I scrambled the eggs then scooped some for myself out onto a plate and pulled myself up on to the counter to eat them.

Michael:

I closed my eyes as I rested my head on the table. My head was starting to hurt a bit, and I wasn't sure why.

Krissy

"I have to go sweetheart." Kris said setting his cup in the sink. "Nice to meet at least one or your friends." he said nodding to Micheal. On his way his way to the door he tapped Seth's shoulder. "Wake up kid." Seth groaned and looked up in time to see Kris leave before he slumped back on the table.

Michael:

I watched him go, giving a polite goodbye, before turning my eyes to look at Krissy. She was beautiful, but I was fairly positive she would disagree if I told her so.

((In the kitchen.))

Krissy:

I smiled at Michael then tilted my head to the side trying to read his expression.

Michael:

I smiled back at her. "So what do you want to do now?" I asked her.

Krissy:

I shrugged and leaned sideways so I could look at Seth. "Is he asleep?" I asked and got no reply from him.

Michael:

I glanced at Seth and shrugged. "He has helped us, we should at least put him to bed." I said looking up at Krissy again.

Krissy:

I slid down from the counter and landed partly on my leg causing me to wince briefly. "Nah, I'm sure he slept." I said watching Seth. "I wonder why he helped us? Twice too."

Michael:

"Maybe he is one of the few decent people in the world." I said going over to her and putting an arm around her waist. I didn't support any of her weight, just putting it there because I wanted too.

Krissy:

"Hmm." I studied to the sleeping Seth. "What does that make us then?" I asked quietly looking up at Michael.

"Assassins. duh. but we dont go around killing random people like other people seem to" i say hearing her question. i walk by them and go tot he fridge "Why is Tweedledee sleeping int he kitchen?"

Lexi grinned. "I LOVE it!" Lexi exclaimed. "It's so...her! And us for that matter! It's perfect. Miss, can you put this on the cake?"

Michael:

What I had been about to say stayed behind my lips when Will walked into the room. I shrugged absently, instead.

Krissy:

I watched Will and shrugged a little. "He just fell asleep." I said softly. "I made scrambled eggs. They are still warm." I told him.

Kyle:

She said to come back in a few hours and it would be ready. I got an order of the truffles and took Lexi back out to the car. I held a truffle out to her. "We've got a few hours to kill."

Michael:

I moved a bit so that I was hugging Krissy. Her back was against my chest.

thanks Kris" i smile a bit and frown afterward seeing Michael's face "Um if i interrupted something i can leave. i dont mind" i say waiting for an answer before i got my food
