Perfect Assassins

Michael:

"Yes please." I said sitting down in the chair next to the one Krissy had chosen. I closed my eyes and rested my head on the table.

"True that. You shot me in the leg, jerk," Lexi teased, lightly punching Kyle in the arm.

i walk outside and look around the house boredly "theres not much to do when your not being shot at"

Krissy:

I got two cups and filled them both with coffee adding sugar and milk to Michaels the way I had seen him do before. I set his coffee in front of him lightly running my fingers over his back before sitting down and sipping mine.

Kyle:

I grinned looking ahead. "I missed the actual target, it was hard to run and shoot at the same time. Lucky you were fast." I said.

Michael:

I took the cup and smiled in thanks to Krissy. I kept myself from reacting to her fingers, only by will alone.

"I still AM fast," Lexi grinned, leaning back in her seat. "And always will be until someone is finally able to shoot me down."

I go to my car and start toying around with the engine trying to see if i could enhance anything

Kyle:

"Well I will do my best to keep that from happening." I said reaching over and grabbing her hand.

Krissy:

"DO you know who all left earlier?" I asked looking at my uncle. "I believe it was just Lexi and your brother. I heard then talking in the hall." I put my elbows on the table and rested my chin in my hands. I didn't like us being separated, how would I know if some thing happened to them. "Don't look like that, sweetheart, they are coming right back from what I heard.

Michael:

I knew why they had left, but I stayed impassive keeping the smile from showing on my face. I watched the two of them absently as I sipped at my coffee.

Lexi squeezed Kyle's hand before turning back to watch the road through her window.

((Aw I miss her too! Invite her to come here! And tell her we say hi.))

Krissy:

"Okay," I said softly. I heard the kitchen door swing open behind me and twisted in my seat to see who it was. Seeing Seth startled me a bit. I had completely forgotten about him and that he was still with us which also puzzled me.. "Good morning Seth." My uncle said again surprising me. Seth muttered some thing that must have been, "Morning," and slumped into a chair at the end of the table. He yawned looking me over then glancing at Michael and Kris. "Your leg looks nice. I mean compared to, you know, it was awful yesterday." He made a face. "I guess it is just covered up now." He shrugged and yawned. I glanced down at the cast on my leg and bit my lip. I wished I had been wearing jeans or at least long pants. I wasn't used to having my legs show.

Kyle:

I drove a little while longer until I saw a little bakery up ahead and pulled in. “We can get the cake here, and some thing my mom used to get us when we were kids. They are truly the best truffles you’ll ever try.” I said smiling at a memory.

Michael:

I smiled a bit, and under the table I gave one of Krissy's leg a squeeze before putting the hand back up on top of the table. It was nice to see Krissy in shorts, she looked good even if they didn't fit all that well. But she was wearing my clothes so I wasn't going to complain.

"Sounds good to me," Lexi laughed, climbing out of the car. "Pastries..." she sang softly to herself, just to make herself happy and giggle.

Krissy:

I struggled to keep my smile subtle when Michael squeezed my leg but some how I found myself slightly biting my lip. "I talked to my brother this morning. I told him I was with Ebony but he thinks it's just the two of us. I don't think he is going to be to concerned with her either. He still wants you dead though." Seth said quietly looking down at the table. I shrugged. "That doesn't surprise me. I am sure many people want me dead."

Kyle:

I smiled at Lexi. Usually it annoyed me when anyone would sing but it was adorable to way she was now. I put my arm around her waist and kissed quickly before leading her into the bakery.

"Ooooohhhh.... CAKE!" Lexi exclaimed, pointing to all of the crazy cakes in various colors, shapes, and forms. "Wow... I don't know which one to look at first! There are so many!!!!"

Kyle:

I chuckled watching her. I recognized the owner right away though it was doubtful she would know me seeing as I was about three feet taller.

i walked inside the house...

"Um... What about this one?" Lexi asked curiously, pointing to a dark blue one with fake fish drawn on with frosting. "I don't know if they'd make a cake with... you know. Guns or something..."

Kyle:

I chuckled. Hmm. I like this one but... lets see.” I asked the owner if she had some thing I could draw with. I was handed a pencil and paper and I bent over the counter to sketch what I had in mind. I held it up to Lexi a couple minutes later. “What do you think?” ((Our emblem but with Krissy‘s name... and no blood =P))

Michael:

A slight smile came to my lips as I watched Krissy fight to keep a smile off of her face. She was so cute sometimes.

Krissy:

It was silent for a few minutes as I finished my coffee. “I’m going to make breakfast.” I said slowly looking at the bottom of my empty cup.

Michael:

"Is there anything I can do to help?" I offered her, tilting my head.

Krissy:

I looked at him and smiled. “You could make me breakfast.” I suggested. I stood up holding onto the back of my chair trying to make it seem as effortless as possible. “I kidding. I’ve got it.”
