Jake kneeled next to Ebony. "Who are your parents?" he asked her.

"Or scream is more like," Lexi smirked, walking into Krissy's room.

Ebony:

I shifted awkwardly in my bed. Why were they all staring at me... I looked down into my lap, silently wishing my hair was longer so that it could hide my face. "My parents? Why?" I asked softly, not wanting to think about them.

"I need to know who your parents are," Jake said, looking at her.

Krissy:

“Jake.” I warned softly putting my hand on his shoulder. I didn't want him to push her if she wasn't willing to give up any thing, especially after he and Kyle scared her by fighting.

Ebony:

I closed my eyes tightly shaking my head once more. I was beginning to tremble, I didn't want to think about my parents...I didn't want to remember all the bad things they had done to me.

Jake carefully took her hand. "It's okay... All I need is a name, okay? I'll find out everything myself," he promised.

Ebony:

I shook my head rapidly. "I...I can't..." I whispered barely registering that he had taken my hand.

Jake sighed, letting go of her hand. "All right..." he said disappointed.

Ebony:

"I'm....s-sorry....I don't want to remember....and....I was only aloud to call them master or mistresss...." I said tears starting to leak out.

Krissy:

“It's alright Ebony. Don't worry about it.” I said kindly yanking Jake up and away from her.

Ebony:

I hugged my knees to my chest and cried silently. The memories coming unbidden and unwelcome.

Jake frowned at Krissy and carefully climbed into the bed with Ebony. He hugged her gently, stroking her hair. "It's okay..." he murmured in her ear. "You're with friends now..."

I walked back and scowled at jake when i saw him with Ebony. i stay out of the room

Ebony:

I flinched away from his touch at first, but eventually I just accepted it. My crying lost its silence and it was possible to hear my now.

I frown and walk in afte ri heard her crying

Jake rocked her back and forth, holding her gently, like a big brother, much like how he used to when Lexi was a little girl.

i look at ebony and decide i couldnt really do anything sinc ejake was there. i walk back out of the room

Ebony:

I opened my eyes right as Will left and I hugged my knee's tighter. My crying was starting to go away, as I calmed down, but I was still trembling.

"Sshh... It's okay..." Jake whispered, holding her. "You're safe now."

Ebony:

"I hate my parents..." I whispered wishing Will hadn't left. I didn't know why he left and that left my mind open to blame it on me.

Jake smirked. "You're not the only. At least I'm lucky mine are dead."

Ebony:

"I have too many scars to forget them..." I whispered. A shudder ran through me at the thought.

"Scars heal with time..." Jake said softly, kissing the side of her head. "Even if you're not, you're my little sister now, okay? I'm going to protect you."

i go find taylor asleep. i sit down in the chair in the room

Ebony:

I laughed bitterly. "Tell that to the scars I have on my body. They don't fade easily." I let out a slow breath and looked at him funny. "I'm not your sister...I'm not related to you..."
