Perfect Assassins

"How do you know? After all, you look almost exactly like my mother and therefore look like me," Jake said, still holding her.

Ebony:

"Because they ahve the documents to prove I am their daughter." I said looking at him still.

Jake smiled knowingly. "So did my master. That didn't mean I was his son. I knew my parents before I ran away. Papers can be forged. Just ask my lil sister. She knows all about that kind of thing."

Ebony:

I shook my head. "As much as I want to believe that they aren't my parents, too many facts prove me wrong...I'm sorry..."

"Too many facts are proving me right." Jake said, turning her face so she could see him. "Look at me. Don't I look like you?"

Ebony:

I looked into his face before looking away. "Its nothing but a coincidence." I muttered but there wasn't a lot of strength behind it. I gently pushed him away and pulling out the IV I got out of bed.

"If you're running to avoid this, you'll only get yourself hurt," Jake informed, smiling softly. "It would be better if you stayed here among friends."

Krissy:

I sat in the kitchen with Kyle, Aalen and Seth. Both Kyle and Aalen knew Seth better than I did even though I was the one to meet him first. It surprised me, but Kyle kind of liked him. Now however Seth was looking rather out of place as talked. “Id be kind of jealous if Ebony was their sister, not in a petty way, you know, just... It'd be like she was closer to them. I wish I was related to them.” I said softly resting my chin on my arms crossed over the table. “It wouldn't be very good for me if Lexi was your sister.” Kyle said with a half smile. He wasn't in such a bitter mood now, which was nice. “Or cousin, that would be cool.” “That wouldn't work out either, Krissy.” I grinned at him. “Yeah, maybe not. She doesn't look any thing like us any ways.”

Ebony:

"I'm not running, atleast not yet. I just don't want to be cooped up in a bed anymore." I said walking a bit unsteadily to the door. I was tired of this hospital gown for sure...

I was walking around when i saw Ebony "Eb where are you going?"

Jake left the room, sighing. He wished he could do something for her. He walked outside and climbed into his truck, vowing to come back with proof her being his sister.

Ebony:

I brightened a bit when I saw will and going over to him I practically tackled him with a hug.

Krissy:

“Krissy, you should get some sleep, honey.” Aalen said rubbing my shoulders a bit. “I'm not that tired, it isn't that late.” I muttered. “You're hurt though, you need the rest..” Kyle chimed in. “Hush, I'm not tired. I'll sleep when I am.” “You always say that, then you end up not being able to sleep for days at a time.” I frowned at Kyle. “I don't want to have to walk to my room.” I told them hoping they'd feel bad and let me stay. “That isn't a problem.” Aalen tried to pull me out of the chair but I latched on to the table. “No!” Seth pried up my fingers and said smiling, “Night Krissy.”

Michael:

I walked into the kitchen and watched them pry Krissy from the table. "Can I help?" I asked smiling.

i hug her back softly "you ok?"

Ebony:

I nodded. "I am now." I said softly. My heart beat was picking up again, but I tried to ignore it.

i really hate jake now"

Ebony:

"Don't. He thinks I'm his sister...Lexi does too..." I said looking up at him.

i shrug and look at her

Ebony:

I move onto my tippie toes and kiss his cheek. I settled back onto my feet a faint blush staining my cheeks.

i chuckle a little bit "what was that for?"

Ebony:

"Because your sweet." I said smiling up at him.

i smile gently "im not that sweet"

Krissy:

Aalen has holding my off the ground like I was a rag doll, both arms around my waist. “You could help by making sure she gets some rest.” He said to Michael, not letting my got though I was trying to squirm away. “No! Make them let me go!”

Michael:

I chuckled and nodded. "I'll take her to her room then." I said taking her from him. I carried her bridal style, my arms locked around her so that she wouldn't be able to leave them.
