Perfect Assassins

Michael:

"As I said before I can't tell you. This is the final knife, so its the end of the message." I said absently.

Krissy:

“And why can’t you tell me?” I asked flatly putting the knife back together.

Michael:

"Because I promised that I wouldn't say what is inside, or tell how to open the knives." I said giving her a tiny smile.

Krissy:

“Promised Maestro? Can you tell me who that is?” I asked looking up at him and sliding the knife back in it’s place.

Michael:

I tilted my head a bit and said. "He is an assassin. But an old one at that."

Krissy:

I thought for a minute. “Why does he want to fight you? And what happened to the other knives?” I asked.

Michael:

"Well, you have my original one. There is the one you lost. Two I have stored in a vault. The last one he has himself." I said counting off on my fingers.

Krissy:

“I wish I had known before, I would have been more careful with mine. It upset me just to lose it in the first place.” I said and sighed.

Michael:

I smiled at her. "Maestro will find it eventually. I have known how, but he always seems to find them."

"If we're lucky, you won't ever need to..." Lexi whispered.

Krissy:

“How? How do you find some thing like that? It could be lost forever.” I said. I knew where I left it but I had no way of knowing what had become of it.

Kyle:

“Mm.” I said brushing her cheek with the back of my hand.

"Mm," Lexi smirked, mimicking him. She winked at Kyle.

Michael:

I shrugged. "I am not sure actually. But he has always been able to find them."

Kyle:

I smiled and kissed the corner of her mouth, holding her close.

Krissy:

"I'd want it back, if you ever do fight him and he has it." I said softly. Even if the knives had been a message to Michael that one had still been mine, it was special to me. "Why does he want to fight you any way?"

Michael:

I nodded. "Alright, I'll tell him the next time I see him."

Krissy:

I tilted my head to the side. "Do you see him much?" I asked looking in his eyes.

Michael:

I shrugged. "He probably see's me more than I see him. The last time I saw him was two years ago."

Krissy:

"You aren't related are you?" I asked tucking a strand of hair behind my ear and watching him.

Michael:

I shrugged. "I have never seen his face. I don't know anything about him. If he is related he really hasn't gone out of his way to show it."

A shot rang out and Lexi immediately jerked away from Kyle and scanned the area around them for the attacker. She noticed an armed man making his way across the parking lot, seeming to look for somebody. "What the...?" Lexi whispered.

Ebony:

I whirled around surprised to see Will.

"Why are you up?" i ask watching her with a frown "you dont need your stitches to rip open again."

Ebony:

"I don't want to be a burden on anyone, and besides I hate being cooped up." I said with an absent shrug as I looked at him.

your not being a burden. but the least you could have done is asked me to come out with you so yuo wouldnt hurt yourself" i frown
