Perfect Assassins

Ebony:

I thanked him and stepped out of the room ahead of him, then waited for him to walk next to me.

Seth:

I let the door close behind me and started for the kitchen by her side.

Kendra:

I walked next to him, feeling shy all over again. I didn't know what was wrong with me...

Seth:

I opened the door again for her once we got to the kitchen. “Ooh, look, they got Krissy’s cake, let’s peak.” I said going over to the box and lifting the lid.

Ebony:
I stood next to him peeking into the box. "Wow, its beautiful."

Seth

“It is.” I said looking at her instead of the cake then looking down at it I said, “Bit odd though.” I went over to the fridge and searched it briefly before pulling out the milk.

Ebony:

I shrugged and sat down on the counter next to the cake to watch him.

Seth:

I pulled out two bowls and filled them both with milk before looking in the pantry for cereal. I pulled out Lucky Charms with a grin. “I’ve always liked Aalen.” I said giving her one of the bowls.

Ebony:

"Aalen?" I asked in confusion. I wondered if that was the name of one of the other residents.

Seth:

I blinked at her in surprise. “Yeah, Aalen, you know... You haven’t met him? Really big and tall guy, really nice.” I told her.

Ebony:

I shook my head. "I have never met Kyle or Aalen." I said. "I have seen Kyle though."

Seth:

I chuckled. “He’s intimidating, I kinda get the feeling he likes me though.” I said thoughtfully.

Shawn followed Kyle and frowned when he heard him call for his sister. Was he going to tell her Shawn had been hired to kill her.

Kyle:

I opened her door, glanced at Krissy then scowled at Michael briefly before turning back to Shawn. I made sure that they could see each other but if Shawn made any kind of move, I could block him.

Krissy:

I looked past Kyle to the guy behind him. My smile disappeared and I caught my breath trying not to show how alarmed I was. What was he doing here? God, please let him not realize who I am. I plastered a polite smile on my face looking at him. "Hi." I said sweetly.

Shawn nodded, judging by Krissy's expression, he figured she knew who he was. "Hello," he said, bowing slightly but not making a move toward her. He nodded to the boy next to her as well.

Krissy:

"This is Shawn, Krissy, he was looking for you." Kyle explained and my stomach sank. I wondered why Kyle had brought him back here. "Says he was hired of to kill you." I blinked, stunned, no longer looking at Shawn but at Kyle.

"I'm sorry. If I had known you were friends with Lexi, I never would've taken the job," Shawn apologized. "I don't mean you any harm."

Krissy:

I looked back at him. "You're friends with Lexi?" I asked incredulously.

"Well, yeah," Shawn said, sounding like he should be saying, "DUH."

"Lexi and I were... sold together when we were kids," he explained softly.

Krissy:

"Sold together." I repeated blankly. My eyes narrowed as I looked at him. "Why are you here?" I demanded harshly. "Say you're not going to harm me and that you are friends with Lexi but that doesn't explain why you're here."

Kyle:

I smirked. One thing that had annoyed me about Krissy was she was always so excepting of others, so trusting even if there was no grounds. Not now though. A rush of satisfaction flooded through me. I wanted Lexi to be here watching this.

Michael:

When I saw Krissy's reaction a knife had come to my hand automatically, and I was debating just killing the guy anyway. After all, he was a threat to Krissy's life. Why take the chance.

"Because as soon as my employer figures out that I'm not going to kill you, he'll kill me and I would prefer to live, as I'm sure you would. If we disappeared, all of us, together they wouldn't be able to kill either of us," Shawn explained. "I could go into hiding by myself but...it would too easy to track me down. After all, I'm not really an assassin. I'm just a bounty hunter and we hunt down people and kill them publicly, not secretly so... I don't know much about hiding or being secretive."

Lexi walked into the room, frowning as she saw the knife in Michael's hand. "Put the knife away, Michael, he's not gonna do anything. The only person stupid enough to try anything with all three of us in here, is dead."

Krissy:

I got off the bed and grabbed one o the crutched using is to help me walk. I hated that I had to show weakness like that in front of some one I didn't know. I moved past both my brother and Shawn giving him a cool look and snatched Lexi's wrist pulling her with me down the hall into an empty room. "What does he mean you were sold together? How well do you know him Lexi/" I asked her letting her go once the door was closed.

Kyle:

"That went well." I said, still smirking. "Where are every one else?" I asked glancing at Michael. "Bet they'd like to meet Shawn here too."

"Remember when I went missing for a month back when we were younger?" Lexi asked, sighing as she explained everything to Krissy. "He was already... at the slave market when I was captured and brought there. We were sold together to Zach and he...helped me escape from him the first time."
