I leaned on him slightly.

I lightly rubbed her back as I leaned my head against hers.

I finished my ice cream silently.

I was kinda wondering why she was so quiet. I just paid as we walked out.

I half-smiled at him.

I smiled back at her as I yawned a bit. I sat down on a bench pulling her down next to me.

I sat down and pulled my legs next to me.

"So Nell why did you want me to act with you?"I asked her.

"I didn't. I didn't even offer it to you. I asked Will to act the part. The director wanted you to play him," I said.

"Oh okay."I said to her as I shoved my hands in my pockets.

"What? Did you want me to lie?" i asked.

"Huh?"I asked her as I looked at her confused."What are you talking about?"I asked her.

"You looked disappointed," I said and shrugged.

"No not really."I said as I leaned on her I had a small smile.

I nodded mutely but i didn't react to his gesture of affection.

I looked at her."What is it?"I asked her.

I shook my head.

I looked her in the eyes as I cupped her face."Can you please tell me."I asked her.

I shook my head.
"Leave it alone,"

I sighed as I looked down."Why'd did you want Will to play Curly?"I asked her softly.

I didn't respond. I didn't make any indication that I heard him.

I stayed there and just sat quietly next to her.

"I don't want to answer that question," I whispered. I looked at the concrete.

"You liked him didn't you."I said less as a question more as a statement.

"I loved him. But I gave up. I have to give up sometimes, even if I don't want to," I sighed sadly.
