about what?" i ask looking at her

Ellie:
"What happened that day. Thats probably why it doesn't connect much. In essence, its mostly the same though. I just didn't want to tell you. I was scared," I said softly and sat down, my back was against the wall.

what did you lie about?" i ask raising an eyebrow

Ellie:
"The ring, what really happened in your room," i shrugged.

and? what really happened?"

Ellie:
"The ring really was your mother's and you really were my best friend. You gave me the ring as a sort of.... promise, i guess. You said that when you killed your father, we would get married. I was scared you would die so I told you to fight him when you were stronger. You hugged me just as demons came in and held you back. I was dragged out of the room.... everything else you know. The only thing i've forgotten is how long i was tortured," i shrugged and looked at the floor between my knees.

i frown a little bit as my memories came back slowly. "You held me back? why? i could have helped you." i say softly

Ellie:
"I was an angel in Hell. No one could've helped me. But when they took me away, you tried to help. They just held you back," I sighed.

i get up and sit next to her "im sorry that i didnt remember int he first place." i say softly and run a finger along the ring was was hanging on my neck from a chain

Ellie:
I looked at it and shook my head.
"I gave it back to you cause I was sick of seeing it. It only made me depressed. Don't give it back, keep it." i shrugged.

why did it make you depressed?"

Ellie:
"It made me remember.... everything. I remember the forms of torture, what you said, Taylor's face, the escape... because thats all i see when i look at it," I said softly.

i hug her softly "imm sorry ellie"

Ellie:
I didn't hug him back.
"And when i look at you, it gets worse," I whispered.

that made me pull away and look away from her. "oh"

Ellie:
"Not because of all that, its cause I remember how you used to be. I still see you like that, so I guess its hard to see you grown up," I made a face.

how did i used to be?" i ask frowning a bit

Ellie:
I looked at him and sighed.
"He took a lot more away from you than i thought. You were a lot nicer, you were happier," I shrugged.

i nod a little bit "yeah i dont remember" i sigh

Ellie:
"Thats why i ignored you. I was sick of hoping you'd get your memories back so I just gave up. Which got me pissed," i shrugged. "I don't like giving up."

i nod a little bit "im sorry that i cant remember...."

Ellie:
"Its fine," I shrugged. "Sorry i tried kissing you a few days ago," I laughed.

you DID kiss me a few days ago. and i dont mind" i say softly

Ellie:
"Ok, ok. I did kiss you," i rolled my eyes.
