All Hope Is Gone (open)

Dreyah:
"You finally get me to go out with you after a month. Then tell you i love you before i die," I shrugged.

Whisper:

My jaw dropped and I stared at her. "W-what? What do you mean tell me you love me before you die?"

Dreyah:
"Just what i said," I said and shrugged.

Whisper:

"How can you act like this is nothing?" I demanded softly staring into her eyes.

Dreyah:
"In war, there are casualties. Just like Ellie will be one when Will figures out he loves her. Callum will die before me, and then i will. We can't stop it," I said softly.

Whisper:

I stayed silent just staring at her. "Then why fight a war that you wont win?" I whispered.

Dreyah:
"It will be won. With Ellie's child," i said. "But i won't be alive."

Whisper:

I looked down at her before whispering sadly. "Sometimes I wish that I wasn't immortal."

Dreyah:
"I am. Unless i get killed," I laughed.

Whisper:

"I can't die period. I can only be contained...if you wound me, I'll heal in time. Even if you destroy me entirely I will regenerate eventually." I said with an absent shrug.

Dreyah:
"I will die.... and not come back," I shrugged.

Whisper:

"So why let yourself fall in love with me..." I asked softly.

Dreyah:
I shrugged.
"I don't know."

Whisper:

I let out a slightly exasperated sigh before hopping off of her and off the bed. I changed back into my human form before getting to my feet.

Dreyah:
"What?" i asked.

Whisper:

"How can you be so calm about this?" I asked turning around to look at her.

Dreyah:
"Because it can't be avoided," i shrugged.

Whisper:

I nodded once before saying softly. "I need to go think..." With that I left the room and moved through shadows to come up onto the roof.

Dreyah:
I let him leave.

Whisper:

I needed time to think. Dreyah was really cool, but...would I want to fall for someone who was going to give up on life so easily?

Dreyah:
I started writing again.

Whisper:

I could end this war here and now. It would make everyone hate me, but I could do it. Only two things would have to die and then it would all be over.

Dreyah:
I continued writing.

Whisper:

I nodded to myself. I just needed to kill Satan...and Will...
