Kyle:

I smiled looking down at her, desperately trying to read and understand her expression. I leaned down and kissed her on the lips quickly before opening the door for her.

((Please excuse any mistakes I may have, my mind is a little wonky right now, it just tried to spell 'kissed' with a Q XP))

((Its alright, I know the feeling.))

Ebony:

I felt my mind go fuzzy when his lips pressed against mine for a brief instant. It cleared a moment later as I stepped through the door he held open.

Kyle:

I trialed my hand down her spine as she stepped in front of me.

Ebony:

I shivered and looked back at him, wanting to pause and let him continue but I continued onward instead. Ignoring my bodies wants.

Kyle:

I chuckled softly for a moment watching her before following her into the kitchen where my mom was already cooking.

Ebony:

I inhaled and smiled a bit, but the smile faltered when I saw that it was Kyle's mom. I watched her uncertainly, not wanting to move farther into the kitchen than I was. All I could remember was the feeling that she disliked me.

Kyle:

I grabbed Ebony's hand and squeezed it lightly. “Kyle, can you bring your sister in? We're about to eat.” My mom said with a small smile.

Ebony:

I moved closer to Kyle, uncertain how I should take his mom's sudden niceness. Last time she had been really cold to me, but now...

Kyle:

“Sure.” I said pulling Ebony back toward the door. “Ebony could you stir this for a moment?” She asked looking straight at her.

Ebony:

I paused uncertain before reluctantly letting go of Kyle's hand and walking nervously over to Kyle's mom. I took the spoon from her and began to stir, keeping my eyes focused on what I was doing.

Kyle:

I watched her for a moment until my mom gave me a reassuring smile.

Kelly:

After Kyle left I leaned against the counter and asked, “How long have you been an assassin, Ebony?” My tone wasn't as friendly as before but completely neutral.

Ebony:

I flinched before speaking softly my gaze never leaving the pot. "Five years since I have become full fledged."

Kelly:

“And your... friend? How long has he been doing this?” I asked watching every change of her face taking in her reaction.

Ebony:

"Michael? Well, he does this on instinct. He was trained since he was ten, but I think he hasbeen trained since birth..." I didn't want to answer these kind of questions, but I had too.

Kelly:

“That is very interesting.” I said, noting both how hesitant she was and how she had winced to my first question. “So tell me, what brought you here exactly?”

Ebony:

I let out a breath and told the story of how we had come to be living in her house right now. "...and that is it." I bit my lip wondering if I had said too much.

Kelly:

I nodded, not giving any thing away. “And how long do you plan to stay?”

Ebony:

I shrugged, feeling even more uncomfortable. "I don't know the answer to that question...I'm sorry..."

Kelly:

“And why are you here?” I asked crossing my arms.

Ebony:

"I came with michael, but I'm mainly staying here because..." I paused and bit my lip harder not wanting to continue with what I was saying. A blush lightly painted my cheeks.

Kelly:

“My son.” I finished sharply, my tone conveying how protective I was. Killing her would mean nothing if she was even a mild danger. She seemed innocent enough, unless she was an extremely skilled actress, which seemed unlikely from the was she was behaving.

Ebony:

I blushed a bit harder before saying softly. "I should probably tell you. Someone is after me, your husband and your children know about it. They have been protecting me even though they don't have too. I don't want anything to happen to your son because." My voice got quieter and the blush darkened "...I think I'm falling in love with him." I refused to look at her right now, not wanting to know what emotions would be on her face.

Kelly:

I laughed. “Oh no you aren't, honey. How old are you?” I asked looking her over. “Fifteen, sixteen? My daughters age.” I took the spoon away from her and turned the heat off. “You can't know how you feel that young.”

Ebony:

My eyes flashed and I stepped back away from her and the stove. I half knew she was right, and half didn't agree with her. I knew that what she said made sense, but if that wasn't the case then what did I feel towards Kyle?

Kelly:

“I can tell you from personal experience that that it doesn't matter any way. Whether you are in love or you think you are, it will only end up hurting you with the life you've chosen.” I continued and glanced at her judging what she was thinking.
