Ebony:

I winced and said softly. "I'm not a good assassin...I don't like killing people..." I didn't want to admit this to her, but my mouth moved before I could stop myself.

Kelly:

“Honestly it doesn’t matter.” I told her as I set out the plates.

Ebony:

I was now more confused than anything else. It was like she was trying to get me to go away, at the same time she was putting me down, and almost telling me to go for it. I really didn't know what to say at this point.

Kelly:

“Go get the other kids will you?” I asked seeing as Kyle still hadn't come back.

Ebony:

"Y-yeah." I stammered before practicly fleeing the kitchen. In all that could have gone a whole lot better. I just hoped that Kyle's mom would come to like me. But...maybe she was right did I actually know what it meant to fall in love? I had never really had anyone show me love so who knows...maybe she was right. I searched for Kyle, Michael, and krissy.

Kyle:

I had ended up flopping down in the grass with my sister, Michael, and Eric. For once I was genuinely glad Eric was here with Krissy, so she wasn’t left alone with Michael.

Ebony:

I found them outside laying in the grass. "Um, its time for dinner." I called as I stepped out into the backyard. Michael was curled up on his side, close to Krissy, his hand resting next to hers. He was asleep and looked content to lay next to her.

Kyle:

"Alright." I said holding my hand out to her but staying on the ground. "You alright? You look a bit frazzled." Eric said while Krissy rolled to her stomach and sat up on her knees nodding in agreement.

((Hm, it sounds interesting, but no I have never read it. What is it about?))

Ebony:

"Y-yeah, I'm fine." I lied, knowing it wouldn't be hard to see through what I said. I took Kyle's hand and gave it a soft squeeze.

((Ohhh it is really, really good. You should read it. It's about just this normal guy who is also a hit man. The reason I asked was because your writing reminded me a bit of it.))

Krissy:

"Uh-huh." Eric said giving her a look that plainly said he saw right through her. I tapped Michael's shoulder. "Dinner is ready." I said softly leaning over him.

Kyle:

"Did you talk with my mom?" I asked guessing what the matter was. Eric laughed at that. "I get it." He said.

Michael:

I opened my eyes and blinked up at Krissy. "Alright." I said softly before leaning up and kissing her cheek. I rolled to my feet, and turned around surprised to see Kyle and Ebony now outside too.

Ebony:

I nodded slowly at what Kyle said. I was feeling numb from that encounter, and was completely unsure as to how I should react.

Kyle:

I got up too once every one else had. “Don’t worry about it, babe.” I said kissing the top of her head.

Ebony:

I blushed at the nickname and hugged him. I would want to talk to him later, but for now we should go inside before his mom thought I was more useless.

Kyle:

I smoothed my hand over her back. “I’m starving. Lets eat.” I said pulling her toward the back door.

Ebony:

I let him pull me along, everyone else already inside. I stopped him outside of the door and throwing my arms around his neck and moving onto my tippie toes I kissed him.

Kyle:

I smiled and kissed her back, winding my arms tightly around her waist and leaning down just a bit.

Ebony:

I deepened the kiss without thinking, just wanting to feel better. It was working wonderfully well.

Kyle:

I moved my hand up under her shirt so it was pressed flat against her lower back, pulling her as close as she could get.

Ebony:

I blushed for more than one reason. The first being he could probably feel my scars. The second was that he was doing it. The third was because part of me liked it.

Kyle:

I pulled back slightly but kept my face close to hers. “We should go in...” I said while trailing my hand along her bare back.

Ebony:

I shivered and bit my lip. I nodded slowly, not wanting to go inside for a couple reasons. The main one being I wanted to be with him. The second smaller reason was I didn't want to have his mom continue to judge me.

Kyle:

I cupped the side of her face in my hand seeing the reluctance. “What’s the matter?” I asked softly.

Ebony:

I bit my lip before in a rush telling him the entire conversation I had with his mother. Once I was finished I was shaking a bit, but thankfully I wasn't crying.

Kyle:

I groaned and leaned back against the house, my expression flat. I thought over every thing she said but didn’t say any thing myself.

Ebony:

I stood there looking at the ground, waiting for him to respond. I was causing more harm than good right now it seemed. Maybe it would be best for everyone if I just left.
