Krissy:

"But," I said helplessly, tears coming to my eyes.  "She couldn't have just left...  I though..." I sniffled shaking a little bit as I tried not to cry. 

((Awww... poor Krissy. :/))

((I know, she's only thirteen, they tend to be weepy things don't they?))

Lexi climbed through the window, wearing nothing but a big t-shirt. She thanked God that there was a Goodwill nearby. She stole some jeans and a bra, noting that she needed one now that she was thirteen and she was maturing much faster than she had anticipated.

She rolled her shoulders and cracked her neck, lucky that she had been working on getting out of those same handcuffs every night for almost three months. Three months she had been gone. "I seriously doubt they're in the same place..." Lexi mused as she walked down the street. She couldn't remember Kyle's phone number, much less how to find him or Krissy or even James.

((Haha, Lexi may need a bra but Krissy's still flat chested >=D))

Krissy:

I looked up at the ceiling breathing slowly, every breath hurt. Kyle was gone trying to get me medicine. I hated being without him but at least I was still with family. Even if Kris wasn't very loving, Aalen was, and he was taking good care of me. He thought I was sleeping now though so I was alone at the moment in the dimly lit room struggling for each breath. I felt hot tears slide down my cheeks and my throat tightened which made it even harder to breath.

Kyle:

"What do you mean you don't have it?" I demanded darkly. The mad spat a wad of tobacco out and looked at me stupidly. "I'm not going to deal with this, kid." He said. My temper flared up. "You don't understand, You can get it for me, or I can get. rid. of. you. and find some one who will." I growled.

((She can find them by looking up Krissy and finding a link to their uncle.))

Lexi stopped by the public library, using her mother's maiden name to log in. She googled Krissy and found a relation...or what she hoped to be a relation. Kris? She wondered. Ha. How funny.

She printed out the address and walked outside, hailing a taxi. She climbed in and handed him the paper. "You're in luck. That's five minutes away." he announced.

Lexi frowned. How were they so close? Her...master's place had felt like it was in NYC, nowhere near where this person's house was. Had he tricked her? If so, why? (God, I can't remember his name).

It didn't take long to get there and Lexi got out, the taxi driver just nodded and drove off without her having to pay. She shrugged and took a deep breath, knocking on the door.

Aalen:

I opened the door and blinked at the young girl. "Well hi there, sweet heart," I said kindly. "Can I help you?" I had an odd feeling like she had some thing to do with Kyle and Krissy.

"Um...I'm looking for Kyle or Krissy if you know who those two are. I hope you do," Lexi whispered, biting her lip. She knew she looked awful with her messy hair, bruises, and GoodWill clothing that were too big for her.

Aalen:

I smiled at her and opened the door wide.  "Why don't you come and get cleaned up.  Kyle should be coming back here within a few hours." I told her leaving out that Krissy was already here.  "This is their uncles house." 

"O-oh, good..." Lexi mumbled tiredly, smiling and rubbing her bruised and slightly bleeding wrists. "Where's Krissy then? Is she with Kyle?"

Aalen:

"She's sick, it's just a bug, but she's sleeping." I told her. "Come in. I'll show you to the bathroom and get you some of her clothes."

"Thank you," Lexi said, following him to the bathroom.

Aalen:

I left her and went back to what I was doing before. "Aalen?" I heard Krissy's faint voice from her room. "Yes sweetie?" I asked opening the door. "Is Kyle back? I heard voices."

Lexi showered and dressed into some of Krissy's clothes before going off in search of her. She eventually found Krissy's room and smiled, walking inside. "Krissy?"

Krissy:

I sat up on my elbows. "Lexi?" I asked hoarsely. "What are you do-" I cut off and started coughing violently into my pillow.

"Hey, you're okay," Lexi said, rubbing her friend's back. "Kyle should be back soon."

Krissy:

I the coughing stopped and I curled into a little ball hugging my legs. "I know." I rasped. "What are you doing here?"

"I heard you were sick, so I came as quickly as I could," Lexi lied evenly, rubbing her friend's back. "How do you feel?"

Krissy:

"Not great, I'm sure Kyle told you all about how careless I was? He's furious with me." I whispered, it hurt less that trying to talk normally.
