The Creation of the Perfect Assassins

Lexi looked around.. "I don't know...I usually have bad dreams that can....seem so real to my mind and body that they can affect my memory and my health...That's why I try not to let myself sleep unless I'm utterly exhausted so I don't dream." she explained quietly.

Kyle:

"Well okay weirdo." I muttered. "Get up, I want us to be packed and ready to leve within the hour."

"Done," Lexi nodded to her backpack where everything of hers was packed already in case they needed to leave. She stood, stretching and running a hand through her tangled hair.

Kyle:

"Okay, well get ready then." I said as I headed to the door. "I'll go get Krissy ready."

Lexi nodded, once he left, she changed quickly, ran a brush through her hair and grabbed her backpack. She waited in the living room.

Krissy:

I shuffled into the living room in front of Kyle and yawned. I had changed but neglected to do any thing with my hair, it was wavy and tangled in spots.

Lexi smirked at Krissy's appearance. "Morning, Sleeping Beauty."

Krissy:

I yawned again then mumbled a good morning to her. “I packed your car, kid. And I picked you three up some breakfast for the road.” Aalan said as he walked into the room and handed over to white paper bags to Kyle.

Lexi stood at the sight (and smell) of food. Her mouth practically watered. "Thanks, Aalan!" she exclaimed happily.

Krissy:

I thanked him as well. “Come on girls, you can eat in the car.” Kyle said ushering us out the door. I hugged Aalen on the way out.

Lexi smiled at Aalen and shook his hand. "Thanks for letting me stay," she said before following Kyle outside and climbing into the car.

Kyle:

“Take this.” I said as I handed Lexi the bag once we were in the car.

Lexi dug through the bag. "Muffins...bagels...the usual stuff. Lots of carbs and proteins to keep us going throughout the day, even if we skip lunch. Which we won't."

Kyle:

“We won’t.” I echoed with emphasis. “Hand me a bagel, I feel like I haven’t eaten in weeks.” I said as I glanced at the bag eagerly.

Lexi grabbed a bagel and put it into his mouth, giggling like a child.

Kyle:  

I laughed and thanked her through a mouthful.  I ate it in about three bites then asked for another one.  "No!  Lexi don't give it to him he's going to eat them all before we can get enough!" Krissy complained from the back seat. 

Lexi laughed again, tossing Krissy a bagel before shoving another one into Kyle's mouth and eating one herself. "We'll stop soon if we run out. He's a big guy, Kris. He needs the calories," she patted Kyle's stomach which was basically a six pack of hot abs, "just look at all that fat!"

Kyle:

I laughed.  "You are one to talk." I said as I poked her cheek.  

"Hey! That's just baby pudge!" Lexi replied, pretending to be all offended. But she couldn't stop smiling.

Kyle:

“Yeah. Even if you act like one, you’re not a baby any more. So what’s with this.” I said and pinched her cheek lightly.

Lexi slapped his hand away as she giggled. "That's my cheek, smart ass."

Kyle:

“You’re chubby cheek.” I added teasingly. She didn’t actually have a trace of baby fat on her. I was surprised at how fast she was growing up. Both girls were, but Lexi more so than my sister.

Lexi rubbed her cheek, pretending to be angry but she kept giggling. He really was hot and her cheeks flushed slightly, thinking about it.

Krissy:

Kyle laughed and grinned as he drove and I watched the color creep into Lexi’s cheeks. I raised my eyebrows and looked back at my brother. Was there something I was missing?”
