The Creation of the Perfect Assassins

((Timeskip a bit? Like a month or two?))

Lexi stretched, smiling and humming along with the radio as they drove.

((Sure. I’ve got an idea.))

Krissy:

I curled up on the porch swing watching the sun rise. Ever since we started staying in safe houses instead of hotel rooms I could barely sleep. I had awful dreams at night that woke me up even if I had managed to sleep. I thought it might have something to do with sleeping in a room alone, I had never liked to be alone. Yawning, I pulled my knees in tighter and listened to the soft sounds of the woods that surrounded the house. Experience told me it would be another hour at least before either Kyle or Lexi woke up, and it was more often the latter who joined me first.

Lexi climbed out of bed, far too earlier in the morning for her liking. She yawned, stretching before hopping in the shower for maybe a minute and drying off. A red shirt and pair of jeans sat in her backpack and she changed into them before heading outside. "Hey," she said in surprised, seeing Krissy up. "Can't sleep?" She sat down next to her friend, smiling.

Krissy:

“I just got up a few minutes ago.” I lied with a shrug. I had been awake about an hour by now and the sun was fully up. “Kyle still asleep?”

"As far as I know, yeah," Lexi nodded, running a hand through her messy hair. She hadn't run a hairbrush through it in a while. "I'm sure I could find a fun way to wake him up though." She grinned mischeviously.

Krissy:

I grinned. “Like what?” I asked with a trilling laugh.

"We could make an air horn, we could put poison ivy on his face, we could jump on his bed, I could kiss him, we could spray him with silly putty, we can set off a small flash grenade in his room..." Lexi counted all of them off her fingers, hoping Krissy wouldn't notice the 'kiss' option. She hadn't even meant to say it.

Krissy:

I stared at her for a moment then smirked down at my knees.  This was new, I'd never known any one who liked my brother before.  Of course there had been several occasions when I caught girls watching him and giggling to themselves, but this was different.  "Yeah," I said letting her think I hadn't noticed.  "I like the jumping on his bed idea." I said as I jumped to my feet grinning at her.  I still had pajamas on, this pair was bright blue with owls on them. 

Lexi grinned from ear to ear, glad she hadn't noticed it. "Alright! Let's do it!" She raced Krissy upstairs and snuck into Kyle's room, counting on her fingers from three to one before bounding onto his bed.

Krissy:

I laughed and bounced on it with her. Kyle woke with a groan and tried to swat at us without opening his eyes or lifting his head from the pillow.

Lexi pinned his arms down, giggling. "WAKE UP!" she yelled.

Kyle:

I rolled flat on my back and opened my eyes blearily. “Why? Can’t you two play some thing and let me sleep?” I mumbled.

James
I was driving around town before i pulled over and got my phones out. I managed to get on of their numbers, just havnt been able to get back to them till now. I called one of their phones

Kyle's phone started to ring a really loud and annoying song called "That's Not My Name" by the Ting Tings. Lexi had changed his ringtone one night when he was sleeping and since he didn't get that many calls, he never knew she had changed it. "Cause you're phone is ringing," Lexi replied, reaching for it.

Kyle:

“That’s not my phone.” I said sleepily, closing my eyes again.

"Well, whose is it?" Lexi demanded before noticing that her own pocket was vibrating. "Oh." she said and flipped her old flip phone open before answering. "Hello?"

Krissy:

"Who is it?" I whispered moving so I could listen as well.  

"Where are you guys? Its James."

"James?" Lexi smiled. "Um...We're at a safe house. I don't know where exactly. You'd have to ask Kyle."

Kyle:

I opened my eyes narrowly at her without saying anything.

"Well then hand him the phone. Im sorry we were separated, but i ran into something."

Lexi nodded and handed Kyle the phone. "It's James..." she said.

Kyle:

“I sighed and took it. “Hey,” I said then proceeded to tell him where we were.

"Be there soon." i hang up and turn around

Lexi smiled softly. "So, pretty soon we'll have the whole gang back together."
