Perfect Assassins

Melody hugged her. "I'll tell them," she whispered to her friend. "Stay here for a moment. I'll be right back." And with that, she stood and left the bathroom before anyone can stop her. She face Kyle squarely and gulped, trying not to cry herself. She needed to be strong for the others. "She's...she's dead, Kyle. Someone stabbed her."

Krissy:

I nodded and once she left I started cleaning up the blood and fixing Lexi before any one else saw, just so there wouldn't be as much blood. All the while I could barely see through the tears in my eyes.

Kyle:

I stared at Mel but what she said made no sense to me, it was like I was slowly sinking into numb darkness.

Melody took his hand and held him steady, just in case he fell over. "Kyle?" she asked worriedly.

Kyle:

I stumbled back and leaned against the wall heavily. I couldn't even think straight, I barely even heard Mel's voice.

Mel held onto him. "Hey, it's okay," she tried but she knew it wasn't. The person he loved most in the world, besides Krissy, had just died while they were semi-mad at each other. Everything was not okay by any standard.

Kyle:

I slid down the wall not even conscious of saying "Oh my God" over and over.

Melody kneeled next to him and sighed, knowing there was nothing she could do for him for a while. She opened the door to the bathroom, checking on Krissy. "He knows," she whispered, staying strong and stopping her tears. "I'll take care of her. You comfort your brother okay?"

Krissy:

I gulped several breaths then made my way to my brother. I sat on the floor next to him and wound my arms around him even though he wasn't responding to me.

Ebomy

I walked upstairs rubbing my eyes sleepily. "What is all this noise about?" I mumbled sleepily.

Krissy:

I looked up at Ebony, still holding onto Kyle. "Lexi.." I choked and shook my head burying my face in Kyle's shirt sobbing harder.

I blinked and i felt my heart freeze solid.

i was still on the phone and i could hear crying. "Hello? someone answer me please?

Krissy:

I couldn't sand this. I shook Kyle a little trying to get him to respond to me. It was like I was losing them both, I hardly cared to deal with any one else at the moment.

I went over to them and nelt down putting my arms around them both.

((Dont forget ebony is the same size as lexi and would smell like her. Just a note for kyle.))

James
i wlaked inside and frowned "why is everyone crying?"

Melody picked up the phone and nodded to the bathroom for James to take a look himself. "Will? It's Mel. Lexi's dead. She was stabbed, that's all I know." she explained.

Krissy:

I put an arm around Ebony as well forcing myself to realize that she was Lexi's sister and had more of a tie to her than I did. I peaked a glance up at Kyle, He was catatonic, I was sure. I pressed my face back into his now drenched shirt. The sobs slowed to occasional gasp and just a constant flow of tears.

I dont speak for a few moments, trying to grasp what she said. "Lexi is dead?" i asked as if it was a cruel joke.

James
i looked at the body iand scowled "Give me the phone, i saw a car speed off north and Will is the closest to it, he could follow it. it might be whoever killed her"

"Yeah. Here's James," Mel said, trying hard not to cry herself as she handed the phone to James. She found a sheet and gently covered Lexi's body with it, so the others wouldn't have to look at it. But she frowned, her fingertips touching Lexi's skin. That was odd. She was still warm, despite being dead for a while.

Immediately, Mel came to a decision. She was going to install a camera in the lid of the coffin when they buried her. That way, if she wasn't really dead, she could rescue her friend. No body stayed that warm that long.

I start telling will where i saw the car drive off an di gave him the license plate.

"Ok, ill keep everyone posted"

Krissy:

"It was Jake." Kyle said, his voice dead. I sat up and wiped the tears from my eyes and cheeks. "No, Kyle, no. Jake, he wouldn't.. She i-" I winced, "was his sister." I managed out trying not to hyperventilate He was just staring deadly at the ground. I couldn't stand to see that look on his face.

Jake continued driving, hoping to get to the airport soon. His master's men would be on their way to..."pick up" Lexi as soon as the others were done crying over her and get a funeral set up.

I was speeding, pushing the speed limit, not the states. My speed limit. which was pretty high to begin with. I speed off looking for the car that James described to me. Eventuall i found it and i scowled speeding up towards the duded rear bumper

Jake checked his rearview mirror and almost gasped seeing the car behind him. Was that Will? he wondered as he drove faster to avoid getting rearended.

i roll down my window and aim my pistol out of it. I shoot once managing to shoot out the left rear tire. "You better pull over jackass" i growled speeding up
