Perfect Assassins

Lexi all of a sudden stopped moving in her sleep. She even appeared to have stopped breathing.

Krissy:

“Lexi?” I asked softly reaching over to take her wrist to feel for a pulse.

The pulse was faint but it was still there but even then, it was slowing down.

Krissy:

“Lexi?” I asked again then pulled over to the side of the road. I faced her and took her by the shoulder. “Lexi wake up! What’s the matter with you?” I yelled at her. It was pitch black outside, no city for miles, and no hospital.

Lexi still wasn't breathing and her body moved with Krissy's hands as if she were a ragdoll.

Krissy:

“Lexi! Wake up damnit!” I yelled at her then crawled over the seat to get my medical bag. I yanked it open and rummaged in it until I found a bottle of amber liquid and a syringe. I suctioned it into the syringe then injected it into her arm. It should shack her body into reacting.

Michael:

I did what I could to keep myself occupied while I waited. Eventually I settled down in the apartments gym, working out.

Lexi gasped, coughing as she woke up, her eyes shooting open as she looked around wildly, gasping.

Krissy:

I let out a breath in relief.  "What's wrong with you?" I asked accusingly though I knew it wasn't her fault.  

"I...I was dead...I was in a plane and it crashed..." Lexi whispered, still trying to get her breath udnder control.

Krissy:

“It was just a dream, Lexi.” I said settling back in my seat with a frown. “But, just to be safe, try to stay awake until we get there.” I started the car again.

Lexi nodded, feeling like she was going to cry but she barely stopped herself.

Krissy:

I pulled onto the road then looked at her again. Seeing how she was trying not to cry, I reached out and squeezed her hand. “It’ll be alright.” I said softly.

"You don't know that, Krissy. None of us do..." Lexi whispered, squeezing back.

Krissy:

“I can still try my hardest to make it happen.” I said with a sigh as I sped up to ninety but didn’t push the car more.

Lexi nodded, not letting go of her hand. She needed to know that Krissy was still with her, no matter what.

Krissy:

The sun was just coming up by the time we got there.  I was tired but not completely exhausted.  "Well.. Let's go." I said nervously.  

Lexi hopped out of the car and looked up at the apartment building. She then dialed the number Michael used to call her. "Hey. Come down. We're outside," she said.

I stoppd working out and slipped my shirt off as stepped out of the building. So i could cool off in the cold evening. I looked around, uncertain as to whose car i should be looking at.

Lexi waved when she saw Michael and grinned. "Michael! Over here!" she called, walking towards him.

Michael

I shifted and looked towwards the voice. I used my sirt to wipe my face before slipping it on and walked towards the two girls.

Once Lexi reached Michael, she pulled him into a hug then pulled back and looked him over. "You smell," she commented then gave him a once over. "You don't seem to be injured. You okay? You sounded odd over the phone..."

I blinked then stammered out. "I-i just finished working out."

Krissy:

I stood frozen by the car. Something was wrong, I didn’t know what but something was very, very wrong. I stared at him realizing I was breathing heavier than I should for doing nothing. My vision started going dark at the edge slowly blinding me. I felt my hand slide down the window of the car as I completely blacked out and fell.
