Perfect Assassins

I watxhed the girl collapse and i dashed over, catching er before she fell. My head pounded and i gritted my teeth. What was going on? Why did i move so fast, and why was my heart pounding at the sight of the girl in my arms.

Krissy:

I only passed out for a few seconds. When I came to and felt the familiar arms around me I pressed my face into his warm, bare chest. Maybe there was just something wrong with me, maybe I had been mistaken about him and I was really the one that was different. I looked up at him, still breathing heavier than I should. “Michael?”

I looked at her still trying to figire this out. "Are you ok?" I asked softly, touching her cheek automatically.

Krissy:

“Yeah.” I whispered though in truth I felt light headed and slightly queasy. I wound my arms around his middle and hugged him. “I missed you.. so much..” I mumbled squeezing my eyes shut.

I blinked and blushed hugging her back. I felt so confused. Who was she? Why did i have so many memories of her now?

Lexi walked over and kneeled next to them. "Krissy, did you hit your head?" she asked worriedly, gently touching her head to make sure there wasn't a bump or concussion. "No? Good. We should get out of here for now. We shouldn't stay in the open like this."

We eventuallylost them and made our way to where they said to meet

Krissy:

I nodded and pulled away from Michael reluctantly but my hand found his and laced our fingers together.

I looked at our hands and chewed on the inside of my cheek. Alright, so we were together....well, it explaijed why i felt happy and protective aroun her.

Krissy:

“Where did you want to go?” I asked Lexi tiredly. Coming here, it had been easier to stay focused because I was going to see Michael, and because I had been sure there was something wrong. But now I just wanted to rest.

"We'll go to a hotel, not too far from here so Will and James can catch up. We'll rest up then come with a battle plan on how we're going to handle our newest stalker," Lexi said, opening the driver's side door. "I'll drive so you two can stay in the back and catch up."

We were making our way to the meeting point. Both of us quiet. I was driving while james kept a look out. We were almost there, noissues.

Krissy:

“Alright.” I said handing her the keys. I let go of Michael so I could climb in the back seat.

Michael:

I hesitated again before climbing into the back seat, trusting my instincts that they wouldn't hurt me.

Krissy:

I tilted my head watching him. I reached for his hand again. “Are you okay?” I whispered.

Lexi climbed into the driver's seat and started the car, driving off to find a hotel.

We turned onto the street we were supposed to meet at. i was driving pretty fast to get there. "Will i would slow down." he said but i shook my head.
"We need tog et to the others, i dont know where those people who were following us a-" i froze when a car turned onto the street and sped right towards us,I go to spin out of the way but we hit head on, James and i xrashign through the windshield and over the other car.

I squeezed herchand and let out a soft breath before looking at her, tears welling up a bit as i asked softly. "Who...who am I?"

Lexi swerved a bit in the road, trying to process what she just heard. "Wait. What?"

Krissy:

My first impulse was to wrench my hand away from him and double over from the wave of nausea twisting my stomach. But instead I went stone still, all the emotion draining from my face and eyes. “What?” I repeated what Lexi said, but my tone was ice cold, it made me cringe in my own mind.

Michael:

I winced and looked down at the floor of the car. "I cant remember...what I can remember...I have used to find you." I paused and just closed my eyes.

Krissy:

I stared at him in horror as my blood turned cold. My vision started going blurry and I thought I was going to pass out again before I realized it was from tears. I cursed myself. “How? How did this happen?” I whispered.

Michael:

I shook my head and shrugged. "I woke up in some sort of a private hospital. They said I had been sick and gave me medicine and sent me on my way. They have continued to send me some, but it kind of makes me feel sick at first when I take it..." I said pulling out a small case and opening it up to show the shots with in.

Krissy:

I blinked tears away and took one out of the box. I held it up to the light trying to figure out what it was. It didn’t have any kind of print on the side. Only tests would tell me what it was. “What other side effects?” I asked frowning my mind mentally going through all the medications that it might be and why they would give it to him.

Michael:

"I feel energized, strengthened, almost like I could do anything after the burning and nausea wear off." I responded rubbing my forehead. "The stuff is addicting, I know that much. Even if I dont want to take anymore I take it anyway."
