All Hope Is Gone (open)

Lauren:
"I'd rather be dead than around you," I growled.

"You better calm down, right now." i warned. "Stop being a stubborn hot head. Fighting isnt your specialty, what if you get caught? what then?"

Lauren:
"If I have mom, I'll be okay. But as far as I'm concerned, I don't trust any of you," I snapped.

and why is that."

Lauren:
"None of you have proven otherwise," I said.

Ive been fighting this war for years now. And your going to say im not trustworthy. You have no right."

Lauren:
"You have no right to chicken out. You lead this 'army' out and now you're hiding. You're pathetic," I whispered and looked up at him.

"Im not hiding. You need to learn the difference between hiding and trying to figure out a plan."

Lauren:
"You're all cowards," I whispered. Thomas put a hand on my back.
"Stop it, hot-head. You're acting like Callum. Now stop. You're not getting anything done," he said softly, just loud enough to be heard.

I pinched the bridge of my nose, "go back inside, both of you."

Lauren:
"I don't have to listen to you," I said and stood there. Thomas grabbed the back of my shirt and hauled me inside.

watch yourself, child." i say coldly

Lauren:
Thomas put his hand over my mouth before I could say anything.

im not like my father. im not going to harm you or send you way. but you ned to learn some respect."

Lauren:
"I have respect," I snapped.

"You have no respect! You show no respect! You deserve no respect! Your brash, hard headed, and quick to act. Learn to hold your tongue" i say

Lauren:
"And you're a coward and an old man! You think too goddamn much and you act too little! When will you learn? When all our heads are on a stake!" I yelled. Thomas pulled me back again and covered my mouth.
"Dad, Laurie, stop... please," he said softly into the silence.

"Ive lived 3000 years, i know what im doing. Ive been killed twice, fighting Satan. The damn king of Hell. You would cower."

Lauren:
I shoved Thomas away from me.
"Is that why you left mom? Because of Satan? Or was it your cowardice that prevented you from following through the first time? I cower before nothing, father. You would know that if you knew me at all," I said, my voice soft.

"You know nothing you little brat." i spat, "My memory was wiped, think before you speak, daughter." i said ice cold

Laurie:
"I know a lot, actually. I know how you rejected mom at first, when she met you again. I learned that even if memory is taken away, emotions are still going to remain. So obviously, you never loved her. Which is why you refuse to get her now," I said. Thomas shoved me back so I fell to the ground.
"Laurie, shut up. Just shut up. Do you know how fucking productive this is? Fighting like this? Its not productive at all. When you're not fueled by anger, then talk. But for the moment, shut up," he snapped, looking clearly pained.

"Do what you want, get yourself killed. At least youll think that your in the right." i growled walking inside

Laurie:
I sat on the floor and watched him walk away. Thomas just shook his head at me and walked away. I sat on the grass, looking at the house. I wished mom was here.
I pressed my face to my hands and cried.


Thomas:
"Do you really want Laurie to get herself killed?" I asked Dad.

"No. i dont. I shouldnt have said that. i couldnt handle it if either of you died..." i say softly, my earlier anger and frustration melting away

Thomas:
"I hate it when you two fight... and its going to get worse since Aunt Taylor hasn't told Uncle Callum about the baby," I muttered.
