All Hope Is Gone (open)

I groned in annoyance, "fantastic..." i sigh and rub my eyes. "Im going to go apologize, i feel its the least i could do." i shake my head and go back outside

Thomas:
"Okay..." I said, staying inside.

I sit down next to her, "Im sorry for what i said, i shouldnt have said that..." i say softly, no anger or frstration in my voice.

Laurie:
I slowly leaned over and hugged him.
"I'm sorry," I whispered into his chest.

i hug her and sigh, "Its ok. Were all emotionally stretched right now"

Laurie:
"Do you think it could be me? That the prophecy refers to?" I asked him.

i dont know... honestly"

Laurie:
"It couldn't be Thomas since that boy couldn't harm a fly," I rolled my eyes.

your mother is pregnant again. i dont know"

Laurie:
"There's such things called birth control... and i know. So its a fifty-fifty chance that its me," I said softly.

i nod sighing

Laurie:
"Good to know that there's a chance that i could kill my father," I muttered.

i look at her frowning

Laurie:
I played with the hem of my shirt.
"I miss her," I whispered.

i know, honey.She will be ok, promise... ill go see her tonight."

Laurie:
I nodded a little and closed my eyes.

we stay there for a while bfore i sigh and stand up. "im going to go now"

Laurie:
"Can I come with you?" I asked.

"i dont know..... you will have to stay quiet"

Lauren:
"I know," I said softly

"If anything happens i want you to run, understand?" i say, putting my hands on her shoulders

Lauren:
"Why only me?" I asked him.

"Because odds are there going to attack me. Your mother is in a cell, i can guess that much, so they arnt going to be attacking her."

Lauren:
"Why can't I stay and fight?" I asked.

because i dont want you getting hurt. It would be the same with Taylor, or your brother"
