Boarding School for the Mythical

"Im not emo you bastard." i muttered after he left. i shake my head and turn on Pawn Stars

David checked out the courts and, of course, the hot babes that roamed the school.

Adella went off to find David and checked his room, knocking on the door.

I heard a knock and figured the guy forgot his key. i sighed and stood up, going tot he door and opening it

Sphinx

"I am fromcjustcabout everywhere. Recently thoigh i came bzck from germany." I replied absently, my accent timeless and exotic. I shrugged, i didnt have any family that i knew of. I opened the door to the girls dorm, for her.

"Um...hi..Uh..." Adella stuttered in a small voice when she saw that it wasn't David. "H-have you seen my brother?"

"He said he was going to see the courts. i dont know where that is, though. Sorry." i say looking at her

"Oh...well...t-thanks anyway," Adella mumbled, turning to leave.

Tabitha:

“Thanks.” I said setting my bags down. “Germany? That’s where my cousins live. I used to spend summers there.” I said smiling. Shade wiggled out of his shirt and jumped to the ground sniffing the air. I saw another set of baggage next to my backpack. “Hello?” I called out looking for my roommate, but guessed she had left like I had. I dug a bottle of water out of my bag and offered Sphinx one. “Thanks so much for helping. You saved me another trip down.”

"Goodbye." i say and think. 'wait, when you find him heres his key, he left it." i hand them to her

"Thank you," Adella nodded, taking the key before running off. She went back to her room to see if her roommate had arrived yet.

i went back to my seat

Tabitha:

"Oh hi!  You must be my roommate, I'm Tabitha." I said.  Shade curled around my ankles and looked at the girl disdainfully.

Adella basically froze in the doorway. "Uh....h-hi..." she whispered, standing there.

Tabitha:

I blinked at her, my slime faltering. The silence seemed to ring out. After a minute Shade growled at her.

Adella screamed then ran into the bathroom and slammed the door shut, hiding in the tub, turning the water on.

Sphinx

I blinked and knelt next to Shade and shook my head. "Play nice, ok?" I shook my head ad smiled as i stood up and looked at Tabitha. "It was a pleasure to meet you." I said offering my hand out to her. "Hopefully i will get to see you again."

Tabitha:

I stared at the door wide eyed then blinked turning back to Sphinx. “Yeah,” I said taking his hand. “I’ll see you around, after I deal with this nu- girl..”

Sphinx:

I nodded and gave her a small smile before giving Shade a little scratch and leaving to my own dorm.

Tabitha:

I took in a deep breath then moved all of my stuff to my own bedroom. As I put my stuff away into the small closet Shade circled at my feet and watched the door as if the girl would suddenly barge in and try to harm us. Once I was finished I knelt down next to my fox. “You know, you’re probably the reason she freaked. You would make friends with some random guy and then hate my roommate, wouldn’t you? Well you’re just going to have to be nice to her, otherwise you’ll be confined to my room, got it?” Shade liked to pretend he couldn’t hear me when I spoke, especially when I was chastising him. I stayed in my room over the next several hours. Finally at twilight I peeked out of my room to make sure the girl wasn’t out then made my escape. I took Shade to a small gassy area out on the grounds lit by a single street lamp. He dashed around chasing moths and beetles trying to be as cute as possible. I giggled as I watched him.

Sphinx:

I laid on my back looking up at the sky overhead, waiting for the stars to come out. I was tired from working out in my room. I had special permission to get an entire room to myself and it wasn't a part of the regular dorms. After all, considering a long time ago I had helped found this place...I figured they owed me something.

Tabitha:

He bounded over to me and bit at my feet playfully. I nudged him aside rolling my eyes and laughing some more. The wind shifted direction and suddenly Shade lifted his nose into the air. “Come back you little terror!” I called after he dashed off past the light into a dark area. I followed him only able to tell where he went by the occasional green glint in his eyes.

Sphinx:

I blinked when a warm weight pounced on my chest out of nowhere. I looked at the glinting eyes and after breathing in the scent I smiled and scratched Shade's head. "What are you doing out here you little ruffian?" I asked him, chuckling softly.

Tabitha:

I stopped short when I heard someone’s voice. I focused and saw an outline in the dim moonlight. Seeing Shade sitting on top I guessed who it was easily. I smiled. “What did you call him?” I asked going over and flopping down in the grass.

Sphinx:

"A ruffian, is he usually this much trouble?" I asked flashing her a grin. I wasn't wearing my sweatshirt and I was grateful for the darkness as I hid my ears and my tail.

Tabitha:

I grinned back at him, my eyes adjusting more in the light. “Yeah, usually. Not as friendly though.” I said as I reached to pet his head. He nipped at my hand but then leaned into it crawling back to me.
