Perfect Assassins

Kyle:

I started to shake my head when a knock came at the door. It opened seconds later. “I knocked.” Eric stated before anyone could object. Krissy remained unmoving, leaning against me.

"No one said you were wanted though," Lexi shot back.

Eric:

“Thanks for that, chick. But I believe I have more connection to this family than you do. So quit trying to make me feel unwelcome, it won’t work.” I snapped back at her.

"More connection than ME? Bull." Lexi rolled her eyes.

Eirc:

“I knew them back when Kyle used to swim around in the pond naked.” I told her. Krissy’s laugh was muffled by Kyle’s shirt. Kyle, of course, was scowling at me, as always. “You did it too…” He muttered resentfully.

"You didn't sleep with him though," Lexi stuck her tongue out at Eric.

Krissy:

I turned around so I could see them keeping my back against Kyle’s chest. “Oh yes I did! For a couple years. That was before Krissy decided she wanted to sleep with me instead.” Eric said with a mischievous grin. “You make is sound so wrong.” I rolled my eyes. “This was when we were all really little.” I told Lexi. “Eric and Kyle were only seven. I was five.”

"Totally doesn't count," Lexi replied, rolling her eyes. "You've never had sex with Kyle. So I win."

Eric:

“I don’t count that as winning sweetheart.” I told her. “Krissy, leave these two and go to the cool room?” I asked. She smiled. “We’re going to make a fort out of our beds.” I informed Lexi with a ‘so there’ tone and stuck my tongue out at her.

Krissy:

I rolled my eyes and pulled away from Kyle. “Night.” I said to both of them.

Lexi hugged Krissy and smiled at her supportingly, not saying anything but so much was said in her eyes. She let her go then kissed Kyle on the lips. "Hmm..>Where were we?"

Kyle:

I grinned and leaned down to kiss her.

((Skipping to the morning.))

Kyle:

I got up before Lexi and put the bags by the door before going to sit on the bed beside her. I brushed the hair away from her face then leaned down to kiss her cheek.

Lexi's eyelids fluttered open and smiled, breathing in his scent. "Hey..."

Kyle:

I smiled. “Good morning. I’m going to go get breakfast. There was a little bakery next door. What sounds good?”

"Hmmm. Cinammon rolls...Those sound so good right now." Lexi grinned, kissing him gently.

Kyle:

I chuckled softly and kissed her back. “Cinnamon rolls it is then. I’ll be back in a bit.” I grabbed my wallet and went out the door.

"Hmmmkaayyy..." Lexi yawned and curled back up, going back to sleep.

Kyle:

I knocked on Krissy’s door once I came back holding the box from the bakery. She opened the door, hair sopping wet and wearing the same clothes she had yesterday. She gagged. “What is that?! Ungh!” She started to close the door but snatched the coffee out of my hand first.

Lexi crawled out of the shower, still tired. She had slipped in the shower and hadn't felt like getting up until Kyle should be back. She turned off the water and dressed, careful of her pounding head.

Kyle:

I went back to our room. “She stole my coffee.” I complained. “Lexi?” I asked seeing the empty room.

Lexi walked out of the bathroom, her hair still tangled from falling in the shower. It hurt too much to brush. "Hey..."

Kyle:

“You alright baby?” I asked setting the box down and going over to her.

"I fell. But I'm okay," Lexi smiled.

Kyle:

“You fell? How? When?” I asked in concern. I put my hands on her arms.

James and I eventaully found our way to where Kyle and the others were at. I walked in with James, getting a room for each of us near the others. Once we headed up i knocked on One of their doors while James went to his room, still recovering from the gun shot. But at least he could walk

"I was so tired that I dropped the bar of soap then slipped." Lexi explained. "I hit my head on the shower floor but I was too tired to get back up for a little while."
