Perfect Assassins

Krissy:

I rolled my eyes. “Come on,” I said as I grabbed Eric’s arm. “They can get pretty disgusting. And they’re shameless.” I looked back at the two of them as I said it. Kyle was smirking.

Lexi only grinned and pulled Kyle along to their hotel room.

Kyle:

I pulled her close once we were in our room and kissed her, pulling the tie out of her hair.

Lexi didn't care that her hair was a mess of red locks but she just kept kissing Kyle and kicking the door shut behind her.

Kyle:

I pressed her against the wall.  My hand traveled down the curves of her body as I continued to kiss her hungrily.  

Lexi kissed Kyle back hungrily, pressing herself against him.

Kyle:

After a while there was a tap on the door. I groaned softly as I kissed Lexi, unsure if the door really needed to be answered.

"The door, Kyle..." Lexi whispered against his lips. Seeing as how she was pressed against the wall, she couldn't really answer it.

Kyle:

I sighed and pulled back from her. “Who is it?” I called in annoyance. “Kyle? It’s me…” My sister’s voice came from behind the door. “I swear, it’s like we’ve gone back in time several years. She isn’t usually this needy, is she? I mean she has become more dependent recently, am I right?” I whispered to Lexi before opening the door. “What’s the matter?” I demanded.

Krissy:

I met his gaze for a second then sighed, clearly I wasn’t wanted. “Never mind. Sorry, I’ll just go.” I muttered turning to leave unable to keep my eyes from watering slightly. “Wait, Krissy.” Kyle caught my wrist and pulled me back. “What’s the matter?” He asked again, much more gentle this time.

When Kyle grabbed Krissy's wrist, Lexi winced unvoluntarily, remembering how he'd hit her after Lexi had woken up as Rose... It was not a good memory and one she didn't want to think about now.

"What's wrong?' she asked, walking over and gently brushing her hand over Krissy's arm.

Krissy:

“Did Eric-“ Kyle started but I shook my head. “No, no. He just had to make a call… I didn’t like being in the room by myself..” I muttered. Kyle sighed and opened the door for me to come in. “Well you can stay in here until he comes back. I’m going to take a shower.” I went over and sat one the bed. “I’m sorry.” I said once Kyle was in the bathroom with the water running.

Lexi sighed and sat down, hugging Krissy and gently rubbing her back. "It's okay, baby but...you never answered my question about the baby. You've been gone a long time..."

Krissy:

I looked up into her eyes for a moment then burst into tears butting my knees up to my chest and hugging them. “I don’t know what I’m going to do… I- I’m still- I still have-“ I struggled with the words and had to take in a deep breath before I could say it. “I’m still pregnant. And I don’t know what I want to do..” I whispered wiping the ever flowing tears off my cheeks.

"You still have a few more months, babe..." Lexi sighed. "But I will murder you if you abort this child in three months because that's outright murder of an innocent person."

Krissy:

I laid my head on my knees. “Eric thinks I shouldn’t keep it.” I whispered.

"Eric hates me too. He has poor taste," Lexi replied.

Krissy:

“I don’t know what to do.” I whispered miserably. I turned my face into my knees so my hair covered me. “I miss him so much.”

"I know, baby. I know..." Lexi whispered, hugging Krissy.

Krissy:

“I hate that I love him. I can’t believe this happened. Kyle was right, I have bad judgment. I never should have fallen for him.” I cried harder. The pain was so much worse than any injury I had ever had. I clutched as the front on my shirt, holding the ring and the dog tags underneath it.

Lexi just held her best friend, vowing to get Michael back alive and well or to kill him. Either way would be better for her then having him running around, brainwashed.

Krissy:

I heard the water stop running and immediately jumped to my feet. “Don’t tell Kyle, about the baby, or that I said he was right. He knows he is anyway.” I whispered blotting my face with a tissue.

"Of course..." Lexi sighed. "We'll have to tell him eventually though..."

Krissy:

I put my hand over my forehead and just stared at the bed spread. The nightmare this already was could only get worse.

Kyle:

I came out of the bathroom dressed in a fresh white shirt and jeans. Krissy had been crying. I could tell more by the look on Lexi’s face than Krissy’s. I could guess why, and I didn’t really need to say anything about it. Instead I pulled my baby sister into a hug and held her there. She pressed her face into my shoulder and sighed heavily. I knew she was terribly upset, but she acted younger, like she was when I had to raise her. I kind of liked it.

"Should I leave you two alone?" Lexi asked in a small whisper. She knew that they needed their sibling time together.
