Perfect Assassins

Ebony:

"Krissy is beautiful isn't she. I can see the way people look at her." I wrote slowly, my eyes guarded to hide my own emotions. "She is so kind, and strong, and people love her. She isn't perfect, and she doesn't try to be. She is just herself, and that is just so amazing." I turned the board around, looking at him to try and read him.

Eric:

“You don’t need to tell me that. I watched her grow up.” I had loved her pretty much the first time I realized she was a person and not just a baby. She had a quality that made people love her and want to be around her. I had been no acceptation. She had never been interested in boys though, not in a romantic sense. I never thought someone would be able to capture her attention like that… but now it was too late, because Krissy was unyieldingly loyal.
I looked up to Ebony realizing she had been watching me. Usually I could hide my thoughts, even from Krissy. But I had a lot to drink and I wasn’t really trying..

Ebony:

"She can see you for who you are, over what you have done. That is what makes her so special to people. She doesn't judge, unless you have earned that judgement through her eyes." I wrote finally seeing his feelings plainly. My stupid heart, why was this so difficult? No need for it to be hard...it was all that stockholme syndromes fault.

Eric:

I read the board then looked up to Ebony’s eyes. “That’s enough about her. I don’t want to talk about her.” I said decidedly.

Michael:

"As long as I am with you I feel at home." I said softly kissing her jaw. "And I said son because the thought of having a daughter like you scares the hell out of me." I finished my voice serious but as I pulled back to look into her eyes my own were dancing playfully.

Krissy:

I laughed. “It scares me too. I was always more inclined to this life than Kyle was.” I said and put my hand over my stomach absently. “I wouldn’t mind having a son like you.. If I could keep him safe, out of the hands of anyone who would try to use him…” I said softly frowning a little at the thought.

Michael:

I lifted her chin gently and smiled at her. "No one will ever get our child if we have one." I whispered softly to her.

Ebony:

I looked at him uncertainly as I erased the whiteboard. I didn't know exactly what to talk about actually. I looked down at the board and began to draw, just doing something to fill the silence. Art came naturally to me. If I could use my hands it seemed, I could do it well. Art, cooking, mechanics, ect.

Krissy:

“I know. No one could get past us.” I said with a soft smile and kissed the tip of his nose. I leaned over him and turned off the lamp so the only light left in the room was coming from the moon outside, filtering through the window. I curled up against him and let my thoughts whirl around in my head. My parents had tried to get out of this life, and look where that had left Kyle and I.. Orphans doing the same thing their parents had done. I didn’t want that for my child, but then again I wasn’t like my parents, not really… And neither was Michael… for the most part.

Eric:

I watched her draw for a long while. It was soothing. Almost as soothing as drinking had been. At least it got my mind off of Krissy and Michael… “Aren’t you the red heads sister?” I asked suddenly.

Michael:

I held her against me, happy to have her as my own, to be able to the only man in the world to claim her as mine. I felt so special to be chosen by her. I would do anything for her.

Ebony:

I paused and in the corner of the whiteboard I wrote. "Supposedly, but with my illness and problems with my head...I can't remember my own parents. Everyone believes it though so who knows. Maybe."

"You're sweet, caring, a total badass, and you can take care of yourself, PLUS your good lucks and gentlemanly qualities? You're every girl's dream guy, especially mine," Lexi smirked.

Kyle:

“I am aren’t I?” I said with a chuckle. “Especially the badass part.” I grinned.

Krissy:

Michael’s breathing was calming, and I could hear his heartbeat. Usually if I could get to sleep, this was the best way, curled up next to someone. But my mind was wide awake, thinking everything through, accepting the decision I had made, making plans, wondering what I was going to do about Eric. My body was tired but my mind was wide awake.

Eric:

“You only barely look like her. And you act nothing like her. She’s major bitch, and from what I’ve seen from you..” I flashed her a smile. “You’re not anything like that.”

Michael:

I held her close, not ready for sleep quite yet, but too much at peace and relaxed to do much more than lay there at the moment. Either way I was content. I had the most wonderful girl in the world in my arms, and one whom I loved with all my heart.

Ebony:

I couldn't help it, with the compliment and his smile I looked down into my lap my cheeks heating up. I bit my lip looking at him but the longer I looked the redder my cheeks got so I settled for looking at my drawing and kind of half halfheartedly working on it.

"Uh. Duh," Lexi grinned, kissing his lips gently.

Kyle:

I kissed her back happily, cupping the side of her face in my hand.

Eric:

I grinned and chuckled softly watching her blush. “What are you drawing?” I asked softly keeping my eyes on hers.

Krissy:

I crossed my leg over his and hugged him a little closer while turning my face into his chest. “I love you.” I murmured, trying to shut my mind off and just think about him. It was difficult.

Michael:

I moved my hand into her clothing so I could rub her bare back, while I nuzzled the top of her head. "And I love you, with all of my heart."

Ebony:

I shifted and wrote in the corner. "A bird." I felt like it was me in a way. So fragile, and so small, but more inwardly beautiful than outwardly.

Lexi leaned in closer, running a hand up into his hair.

Krissy:

I sighed softly in contentment. My eyes fluttered slowly. Surprisingly I was actually starting to drift. Being with Michael calmed me more than anything else. It was infinitely better than sleeping next to Eric.

((Time skip))

Krissy:

I was up shortly after the sun rose over the horizon. I couldn’t stay sleeping long. Slowly I creped out of bed silently, careful not to shift my weight too much so as not to wake Michael up. I crouched at the side of the bed once I was off thinking that if I had been anyone else I would surely have woken him. My eyes trailed over him as he slept. He was almost too stunning to watch, it made my heart beat quicken with pure love. I had pulled most of the blankets to my side as I slept, which left him bare from the navel up.
After several moments of watching the steady rise and fall of his chest I gave a soft inaudible sigh and stood up. I left the room silently and made my way to the kitchen. I got to the entryway when I felt the familiar twist of nausea in my stomach. I went to the basement instead. I worked out for an hour then practiced throwing knives at a target board. At ten yards away on an unmoving target I hit the center every time.
My interest was already waning when I turned to see Eric watching me from the stairs. I turned my back on him without holding his gaze and when to collect the knives, placing them back on their stand. I walked to Eric and held out my hand palm open to him where there were two white circular pills. He smirked at the point I was making. He took them and washed it down with a bottle of water that I handed him. I took the empty bottle and went up the stairs without speaking to him. It wasn’t a mark of forgiveness to offer him aspirin for a hangover, it just told him that he hadn’t ruined our relationship all together, and that I was the better of the two of us.
I figured Michael had slept in enough by now, and made my way back to our room to crawl into bed next to him.

Michael:

I murmured out a soft, sleepy good morning when I felt her crawl back in next to me. I pulled her into my arms almost immediately, my hands rubbing from the top of her shoulders, down her back, to end as far down as I could reach down her legs. I enjoyed tracing the curve of her butt, but I wasn't all that in the mood for anything physically demanding at such an early point.
I let out a large yawn, and stretched a little, though my hand never stopped rubbing.

Ebony:

I ran a hand through my hair as I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I had fallen asleep at the table talking to Eric. And had fallen asleep drawing him, and had pretty much finished it. But I had woken up in a bed, curled up on one half, though the other half of the bed was disturbed as if someone had been sleeping there. I had no idea if I had slept next to him or not.

Krissy:

I smiled and nestled my head against his shoulder with my arm around him. I lifted my face up to kiss just under his jaw. “Good morning.” I murmured. “Aren’t you hungry? I could make breakfast.” I offered.

Eric:

I laid down on a blue mat at the center of the room with a punching bag to the side. I had wrapped both my wrists to make it look like I had been using the punching bag, but really it was to hide the cut from the others, besides Krissy and Ebony of course. I thought maybe I should do something for Ebony, or just keep her close so she wouldn’t tell what had happened last night. I doubted very much that I would be allowed to stay if Kyle found out.

Ebony:

I eventually got up and wandered the house before spotting Eric. I Watched him for a time before going over and sitting cross legged on the punching bag.

Eric:

I propped myself up on my elbows when Ebony came over. “You look rested.” I said with a lazy shrug of my shoulders. She was rather cute actually. I smiled charmingly at her.

Ebony:

I gave him a small smile, and shook my head. My hair was a little bit of a mess, even though it only reached mid neck. And I was in a tank top and shorts, nothing spectacular. So his look confused me, it was like he approved of my looks.

Eric:

I patted the spot next to me hoping she would come closer at the invitation. “I was out exploring yesterday, there was a small rock cliff that looked intriguing. Do you climb?” I asked watching her steadily. “I’d love some company. And seeing as my dear friend has her pretty boy back... I’m all alone…”

Michael:

I smiled and spoke slowly, my face getting closer to hers at every word. "Hm...maybe....but...I...think...I....want....these...." At the last word I pressed my lips to hers, kissing her lovingly.

Ebony:

I didn't have my whiteboard so I couldn't say anything so I just smiled and nodded. I scooted off the edge until I was sitting next to him. I didn't know what was so interesting about him, but I liked being near him.
