Perfect Assassins

Eric:

I grinned at her as I sat up a little, leaning back onto my hands. “Perfect, we can go out before the sun gets too high, maybe pack a lunch to take with us for when we reach the top.” I said softly like I didn’t want anyone else to hear though we were completely alone in the large basement.

Krissy:

I giggled happily and kissed him back eagerly. My arms wound around him, my hands slowly gliding over his skin relishing in the fact that he was in my arms.

Ebony:

I smiled and nodded then paused. Was this a date then? I tilted my head as I looked into his face trying to figure it out. He was hot, I had to give him that. But surely he didn't see me like that.

Eric:

I got up to my feet then stood there a moment with my hand to my head as it throbbed. I held my hand out to her with a sheepish smile once it passed. “Maybe I better eat something first.” I amended.

Michael:

I smiled into the kiss, pulling her completely on top of me. I never let my lips leave hers though as I continued the kiss. Enjoying the feel of her this close to me.

Ebony:

I took his hand smiling shyly before touching the clothes he wore yesterday, my eyebrow raised as if to remind him he should change and shower as well. I didn't let go of his hand though, as I continued to look at him shyly. I was so small compared to him, I was small compared to everyone here though.

Eric:

I chuckled at her implication. “Alright, aright, I get it.” I said, still smiling. My fingers laced with hers. I lead her up the stairs. All my clothes were in Krissy’s room. And I was sure she was locked away in there, with Michael.

Krissy:

My legs straddled him automatically. After a few moments I sat up a little, supporting myself with my hands on either side of him. “We can’t just stay in bed all day you know.” I said softly with a hint of a grin while looking in his eyes.

Michael:

I grinned openly at her. "Oh? Well...that is easy to fix..." I said cheerfully, tracing her cheek with the back of my hand.

Ebony:

I blushed a bit, looking at our hands. I couldn't remember having someone hold my hand like that. So it was my first...I looked up at him as he led me along, and I was sure the unspoken question was on my face.

Krissy:

I sat up a little more and took his hand in both of mine. I turned it over and kissed his palm gently, a smile curving my lips. My eyes closed for a moment then opened to look at him playfully.

Eric:

I let her hand go when we got to the living room. “I shall be back, fresh and clean smelling. With alcohol free breath.” I promised and winked at her as I left. I went to the second story and decided to take a shower before collecting my clothes.

Ebony:

I watched him leave, completely and utterly confused. Since I didn't know what to do, I decided to go to the only person who could probably help me understand him. I ran upstairs, and paused outside the door before knocking softly.

Michael:

I smiled watching her but a soft timid knock brought my eyes to the door. "Come in." I called and I saw Ebony peek in. She appeared to be nervous, and had a hopeful expression on her face. I motioned with my head for her to come in and she hugged a whiteboard to her chest before walking over to the bed, the door closing softly behind her.

Krissy:

I rolled off Michael just before Ebony came in, my cheeks flushed a little. I smiled sweetly at Ebony and patted the spot next to me with one hand while the other continued to hold Michael’s though I dropped it to my side.

Ebony:

I eyed Michael's chest appreciatively for a moment before sitting cross legged next to Krissy. I played with the marker in my hand before quickly writing in a rush everything Eric had done and all the questions I had. I pulled back and just sat there, looking at her my face showing how vulnerable I felt.

Krissy:

I sat there, staring at the white board. I had a horrible feeling in my stomach like I had been punched. And an ache in my heart for the sweetest girl I knew because I didn’t know how to tell her what I thought. Of course he was doing this to get back at me. To make me jealous maybe. To show that he could have anyone else he wanted… Or possibly.. maybe he did actually like her, she was sweet enough, pretty enough… God. She’d be perfect for him. If he would let go that I would ever be a possibility for him.. She was everything he needed, she could be good for him…
I continued to stare at the board keeping my thoughts carefully hidden very much torn between two difficult options. While she was perfect for him, he was wrong for her. He was wrong for any girl. I didn’t know if he could be fixed. He might hurt her. She was too sweet to be hurt by him. I didn’t know what to do! The happiness of a friend would be sacrificed either way. Throw Ebony to the lions, or deprive my childhood friend from possibly finding love in the perfect girl?
I looked to Michael, clearly torn. He knew Ebony better than anyone, and while he didn’t know Eric, he might know what was best for her. I would need to talk to Eric before I made my final decision. Before then, I didn’t know what to tell her. My loyalty was being stretched in opposite directions. I’d rather be in a knife fight any day than face something like this.

Ebony:

I hugged my knees to my chest, not liking the intentional blank face. There was obviously something difficult about the decision...and that just made me feel that much worse...I closed my eyes letting out a soft breath as I felt unable to do anything else.

Michael:

I ran a hand through my hair, sitting up a bit as I picked up on Krissy's want for help. I looked into her eyes as I thought it over. I didn't know Eric. But I knew Ebony. No matter how many times she hit her head, I knew her personality was always the same. She had always been weak in this regard. It was why for the longest time she just didn't date, didnt acknowledge any gender preference. I knew she was straight, but beyond Seth I had never seen her admit the possibility of finding someone she might like.

Krissy:

I avoided looking at Ebony. Lexi would kill Eric if she found out, and she’d hate me for allowing it. Ebony was he sister after all, I had an obligation to keep her safe. But Eric had been my best friend.. My thoughts were interrupted by a brief knock and the door opening without permission. The turmoil was replaced by fury at the sight of him. He had a towel wrapped around his hips, his golden brown hair was sopping wet causing water droplets to roll down his bare toned back. He wasn’t scarred like I was, there was barely a mark of his sun-tanned skin. I wanted to strangle him with my bare hands, all concerns for his happiness were swept away. “The hell is your problem?” I demanded darkly. He looked up and gave me an easy smile, looking past both Ebony and Michael. “I came to get my clothes. I suppose you don’t need me in here anymore.” He answered casually. “Take your whole damn bag.” I hissed seeing him only pulling a few things out. He was keeping his arm mostly hidden but I could see the cut I had given him diagonally just above his wrist. A nice dark red line. I was glad I’d done it.

Michael:

I didn't have anything against Eric, beyond that he had tried to take my fiance away. But seeing the look on Krissy's face, made me lean forward, putting my arms around Krissy's waist a little bit protectively. I had her again, and this time I wasn't going to give her up.

Ebony:

My eyes widened a bit, and I couldn't help but stare at him. It was obvious that he was completely naked beyond the towel, and I couldn't help but stare. A part of me knew that it was a bad thing, and so I looked down shyly. Not entirely sure what I should do anymore. I glanced at Krissy and any resolve one way or the other in reguards to Eric, vanished. I had no clue in the slightest what to do. So I sat there, hiding my face in my legs while contining to hug my knees into my chest.

Eric:

My stomach turned in irritation when Michael put his arms around her but I showed nothing on my face. I took the clothes I was going to wear climbing and when back to the bathroom to change, leaving my bag behind to annoy Krissy. When I came back into the room Krissy’s expression was aggravated. I tried not to smirk. I went closer to the bed and smiled at Ebony. “I’m going to graba snack before we go climbing.” I addressed her. Krissy sat up straighter. “You’re going rock climbing. Together.” She stated. I could see her thinking through her eyes, making a plan, to do what I had no idea. She tapped Michael’s shoulder. “Wanna go rock climbing?” She asked, her face smoothing over the instant she looked at him. “You hate climbing.” I told her, taken aback. “Do not.” She answered without looking at me. “You’re afraid of heights.” I amended. “Eric, for Christ’s sake, it’s been years since you’ve been around me. A lots changed.” She said haughtily. I smirked. “I see.” I answered. She shot me a dirty look, knowing just what I meant before hopping to her feet and off the bed. She leaned over to kiss Michael, to make a point to me I was sure. “Get dressed, we’re going rock climbing.” She said softly then turned to me and nodded to the door. “Get out, no one said you could be in here.” I rolled my eyes and left without a word.

Michael:

I blinked and sat there for several moments after her kiss. "What the hell just happened?" I asked before looking at ebony. Her eyes asked the same thing, as we both turned to look at Krissy. I knew I was probably less confused than Ebony. Who I knew, still was remeeting us for the first time.

Krissy:

I blinked at him in surprise. How was it confusing? I knew Eric and I spoke quickly to each other, but that was because we understood each other perfectly. It didn’t realize that maybe other people didn’t follow us exactly. “We’re going rock climbing with them.” I answered Michael even though I had already said it.

Michael:

"But...why?" I asked as I got up from the bed stretched. I paused as I realized I didn't have any clothes here, but after poking around in the closet and dressers I saw that she had some of mine still. I smiled softly and closed the closet door so I could change.

Ebony:

I just sat there, not really knowing what I should do. I was smaller than both Lexi and Krissy, and I didn't have any clothes of my own. So I just sat there. Not all that excited about going in a tank top and shorts.

Krissy:

I turned my back to Ebony and changed into suitable clothes. I turned around to see Ebony’s expression and guessed what was wrong. “Clothes? I think I have some of Melody’s clothes from way back. Not sure why. She was a bit taller than you but she was fairly flat chested, and not much hips.” I said. I dug around in my bag to find a pair of her pants but that was all. I tossed them to her and kept looking. I came up with an older top of mine. I had been pretty flat chested until only a few years ago.

((I originally designed Ebony to be large in the chest area.... -cough- -cough-))

Ebony:

I took the clothes and just started changing right there. I saw no reason not to, Kayla was female after all, and she was in the way if Michael walked in. I hurried to change anyway, and soon I was in both sets. The pants I had to roll up but otherwise fit. And the shirt showed a small line of my skin at the bottom. In all, I was very pleased.

((*laughs* I didn’t say she wasn’t! I was thinking in shoulder size anyway. Flat chested girls can wear smaller sizes =P))

Krissy:

I had on black pants and a red tank top. I was torn between looking good for Michael or wearing a t-shirt to keep Eric from looking at me. I had decided that it didn’t really matter, because Eric was going to look anyway. I tied my hair up into a pony tail and then pulled my shoes on.

((In my head, in chest size. It was always Eb, Krissy, Lex, Kyle. (Kyle because for the longest time I imagined a tall hulking body builder, who has the giant man pecs.)))

Ebony:

I glanced at Krissy and how she seemed to look so amazing and confident no matter what she wore. I was just happy that I had something to wear that fit and didn't look bad on me...I adjusted the shirt self consciously, unable to help myself but comparing myself and her. In my mind, she beat me in everything. Looks, smarts, style, grace.

((*snorts* Oh Kyle.. But really? Lexi comes first. And then Ebony, and then Krissy. That’s how I saw it. I never pictured Krissy as being super curvy. I guess she is a little now cause she’s grown up, but when we first started this I imagined her as being flat all around XP))

Krissy:

I went over and sat on the bed again. “Do you mind if we come with you?” I asked Ebony after a moment. I hadn’t meant to suddenly jump into everything and spoil it for her. But I hadn’t wanted her to be alone with him until I knew what was going on.

Ebony:

I shook my head. I didn't mind, and it would help me figure out what to do about Kyle I reasoned as I looked in her mirror, running my fingers through my hair in an attempt to bring it to order instead of the messy chaos it was in. A frustrated look grew on my face as I continued to try.

((Well, with Lexi and Eb being twins. Eb gets her one win in chest size. Lexi as a character just kicks ass in so many areas.))

Krissy:

I smiled at her and grabbed a comb, getting behind her and doing it for her. “Baby? Are you hungry?” I called to Michael. I was hopeful that I might be able to eat now. I wasn’t nauseous at all, I’d have to get around food to tell though.
