Perfect Assassins

I drew in a sharp breath, my lips parting as I dragged my fingers down her back.

Krissy:

I exhaled softly on his neck before kissing it as well.

I groaned softly, biting my lip and giving in for what ever she wants.

Krissy:

I had my head laying on his chest, listening to his heart beat with my eyes closed.

I played with her hair between my fingers, stroking the skin of her back slowly with my other hand.

Krissy:

“Michael?” I asked softly, opening my eyes a little to look up at him.

"Yes?" I asked softly, opening my own eyes to look at her.

Krissy:

“Why didn’t you kill me? When we first met? Or any of the times shortly after? You were targeting assassins then.. Why wasn’t I one of them?” I asked softly.

"Ah, you might not like the answer to that." I admitted softly, with a soft dry laugh.

Krissy:

“What, I wasn’t important enough to be targeted?” I guessed looking up into his eyes.

I shook my head. "I was ordered to target a terrorist group, using only my gun. Nothing else, I was to leave no bodies that didn't have a bullet hole." I gave her a rueful smile. "I was out of ammo when I met you for the first time."

Krissy:

I snorted. “You didn’t need a gun to kill me. I wasn’t very good then, not with self-defense.” I said and shrugged one shoulder. “And you didn’t kill me the next few times we met either, before you knew me.”

"At that point it was interest to see you. You weren't afraid, even when you knew what I was there to do and what I was. Then you slowly managed to snag my heart." I said kissing her temple.

Krissy:

I smiled at that. “It was only fair, I was infatuated with you the moment I met you. You were nearly always on my mind. Except those moments when I was actively distracted, like being misted with acid by Mel’s cousin..”

I flashed her a grin. "What did you expect to see under the mask?" I asked, tracing her bottom lip with my thumb.

Krissy:

“A face as beautiful as your eyes.” I said with a grin. “I wasn’t disappointed.”

I chuckled softly. " did you ever think that you would actually get me like this?"

Krissy:

I shook my head. “I never even expected to live this long. Once Kyle and I were on our own, I pretty much lived day to day. I guessed that changed when I started falling for you. I wanted to see what would happen.”

I let my eyes wander down her still naked body as I processed that information. "I don't think I have ever let myself think beyond a few days in advance. But now...now I have you to think about."

Krissy:

I smiled up at him before thinking about something. My smile faltered and I turned my face into his shoulder. “And, well, something else too…” I said quietly.

"Mmhmm, you really should have that looked at Krissy. I know you hate doctors, and don't want to be close to anyone. But regardless if you keep it or not, you really thought you couldn't have kids. You should check to see if everything is okay." I whispered softly to her.

Krissy:

I peeked up at him. I hadn’t thought of that. I had assumed that if I had gotten pregnant then everything must have been fine, but.. “You mean you think there could still be something wrong with me? Despite this?” I asked quietly with a frown.

"You never know...will you do it for me? Please? Jack can be there to supervise if you want him too." I whispered softly.
