Naveen

Rina:

I gave him a contemptuous look before getting to my feet and going over to the tent. I tapped on the tent. “Get up, we’re leaving soon.” I said flatly.

Wren:

I groaned again but opened my eyes to yawn and after finally letting go of Mareen, I stretched as long as I could in the tent.

Maleen:

I blinked and sat up. I ran a hand through my long black hair and it fell perfectly straight and detangled instantly. I crawled out of the tent and looked around. In was beautiful the way the mist blanketed everything, and the morning light shining through it all. I glanced over to the fire and saw the food. “Ohh,” I said softly. I moved over and knelt on the opposite side as Talon. “My I have some?” I asked quietly. Admittedly I was daunted by him. I owed him for releasing me, but he seemed dangerous and a bit scary.

Talon:

I gestured to the food with a nod. "Of course, I made some for everyone." I replied, getting to my feet to start rolling up my bed roll.

Wren:

I yawned and crawled out of the tent, my hair a slight mess. I blinked at everything before my eyes went wide and I looked over everything in awe. It was beautiful!

Maleen:

I got a small portion and settled down to eat in. It was a rare day that I had the privilege of eating a meal that I hadn’t cooked. Usually I had the leftovers from dinner.

Rina:

I collapsed the tent once Wren was out and packed away. I got the horses and prepared them for travel.

Wren:

I continued to watch the sight before me, a smile on my lips and my head tilted slightly. It was a wonderful sight to me, and I couldn't bring myself to look away.

Rina:

I noticed wren just standing there while I was tending to the horses. I went up to her. “Go eat some breakfast. We won’t be here for much longer.” I told her nodding to the fire pit.

I blinked before nodding. I turned to the fire, following the smell of food. I looked it all over for a moment before deciding to try a little bit of everything.

Maleen:

I looked up as Wren came over. “Good morning.” I said with a bright smile. I wondered if she remembered anything I taught her the night before.

I smiled back, replying slowly and carefully. "Good Morning." I wasn't sure if I had gotten it right nor not, but I had tried to make it sound like what she had said.

Maleen:

I grinned and nodded encouragingly to her. I patted the ground next to me, offering her the spot.

I sat down beside her eating slowly, humming happily.

Rina:

I leaned against the tree for a few minutes waiting for the girls to finish. The mist was clearing now, I was worried we would be more noticeable to patrols.

Talon:

I glanced over the land scape, tilting my head slightly as I watched the mist. "If we head out in a few minutes and push the horses a bit we can make it to the river, and cross it with out any trouble." I paused and narrowed my eyes. "Though it's impossible to know which way the soldiers might go."

Rina:

“Not impossible.” I said. “They’re likely to come this way. At least most of them. Toward the castle. Same direction we’re heading.” I said, fidgeting with a piece of bark.

I looked at her for a moment and sighed through my nose before turning to observe the lands around us once more. "Alright, there is no help for it." I said with a small shrug. I went to my pack and started putting the bedroll away.

Rina:

I ushered the girls up and over to the horses. I put the fire out and scattered it to conceal it a bit. I helped the girls up this time onto the smaller horse. I glanced at Talon, I would have had him ride with one of the girls instead of me, but I didn’t trust him, and I didn’t want him plotting some plan. We were just going to have to get another horse.

I slid my pack onto my shoulders before putting a hand onto the giant sword I had impaled into the earth the night before. "Go ahead and ride, I have something I need to take care of."

Rina:

“Where are you going?” I asked moving to my horse but not getting up. “How will you catch up?”

"I have my ways." I remarked, drawing the sword effortlessly from the ground. It was the size of my entire body, and weighed near double my weight, but I could swing it thanks to the magic in my skin.

Rina:
I eyed him then mounted the horse. “So be it. I won’t wait for you though.” I told him before nudging the horse to move, the other one followed.

Maleen:

I looked back at Talon wondering if he was really going to come back. Maybe he just needed an excuse to get away..

I slipped the sword over my back, tightening it in place before turning away from the group and taking off at a jog. I needed to take care of the soldiers.

Rina:

There was nothing to do but listen to Maleen talk to Wren. I wondered if any of the words were actually getting through to her, if she understood them.

Wren:

I chewed on my lip for a moment before saying slowly. "Am I saying this right?"

Maleen:

“Very good!” I said, delighted. I squeezed her arm gently in encouragement.
