All Hope Is Gone (open)

Ellie:
I said nothing for a while, just stared at him. I didn't know what to say for a while. Finally, I slapped him and stood up.
"I hate you," I growled and ran away. I needed to get out of here.

I watch her run away, dumbfounded. After a few moments and stand up to go find her

Ellie:
I had walked past Laurie and Thomas but only one followed me. I went deep into the forest and climbed a tree, sitting up in it. Thomas climbed up next to me and hugged me.
"It's okay, mom," he whispered into my hair.

I walked toward where Lauren was. "I upset your mother some way or another" I say shaking my head a little

Lauren:
"I heard it. I don't blame her. You're an idiot," I said and rolled my eyes. "You need to understand, it's not okay if you die. Not at all. Not to us. Mom lost absolutely everything twice and it seems you want to go for thirds. Only this time, it'll be the last. She doesn't want to lose her husband and I don't want to lose a father. You seem to be the only one who's okay with you dying. Once you're okay with dying, you lose. Because fear of dying means you have something to live for, something to fight for. Apparently, you have nothing. It seems that you're fighting for the sake of dying and no other reason. And because of that, if you die, you deserve it. It's what you seem to want." I shrugged and walked past him, dejected.

I watch her walk away from me, feeling idiotic. I didn't WANT to die. I just know its a possibility. I sigh and sit down closing my eyes and trying to meditate

Lauren:
I walked past my uncle and he asked what was wrong. I just told him my father's name and went to my room.


Callum:
I went outside and looked at Will.
"Okay, who did you piss off now?" I asked.

Aparantly my whole damn family. They don't think like I do about this whole thing" I say shaking my head

Callum:
"You didn't like it when Ellie used to talk about dying, right? Well, there you go! If I were in your place, Taylor probably would either be sobbing or throwing a cast-iron pan at my head to knock some sense into me. Actually, because it's Ellie, walking off is worse than making a production," I said to him and laughed a little. "She'll come back. She always does."

I never said I wanted to die though. What I said and what I meant were two different things. Taylor would know what I meant. I just know this is war, I can't promise anything. I don't want her, or anyone, going to Hell. You know that."

Callum:
"You said you were okay with dying. But they're not okay with you dying," I said to him and shrugged.

I'm not ok with it. I just understand its a possibility." I say rubbing my eues and sighing

Callum:
"Think of it from your family's perspective," I said and rolled my eyes. "You're being dense."

I nod and sigh out steam. "I'm not good at saying things. I guess that will take more time" I say shaking my head. I stand up and head to the house

Callum:
"Time you don't have," I muttered but went inside.


Thomas:
I came home hours later, without mom. She told me she'd come later. I walked inside and went to eat something.

I was in the basement, stabbing dummies with my sword for some practice.

Thomas:
I went downstairs and looked at my father.
"Hey," I said softly.

I look over and back at the dummies. I ßlices the head off one and sank my sword into the chest of another. "Hello"

Thomas:
"You know, we'll be fine without you if you die. Mom will hurt for a while, but we can help her through it. You're okay with dying, and I'm okay with you dying," I said softly, looking at him.

I'm not okay with dying. I just know its a possibility" I mutter , slicing one in half and sigh dropping the sword and sliding down to a seat against the wall.

Thomas:
"Mom would die first, just saying. If you were in danger, she would risk her life to save you. Would you do the same? I doubt it. She would risk her life to save her family, all of us. Whereas you... wouldn't," I said and walked out.

Your an idiot if you think that, child." I say before he got our of earshot.

Thomas:
I just shook my head and sighed. I walked away.

I close my eyes, passing out shortly after

Lauren:
I felt something was wrong so I ran downstairs into the basement and saw my father.
"Dad!" I ran to him and shook him.
