A Wedding Without a Bride (2 person Closed)

(I WAS TIRED I WENT TO BED!! But I listen to Queen, and The Offspring too... None of the others besides Fall Out Boy as you know lol)

I sent my girls out as I heard some of the women coming in, getting coffee and teas and such ready.

( XD Sorry, I forget you're an hour or two ahead of me. And yay, some intrests in common! )

I walked in, in a suit and looking clean cut.

(Lol yeah I'm on the East coast but YAY!!!)

I walked out with a few tea kettles in my hands and I stopped short, looking at him. "Good morning sir." I said and gave him a slight smile before finishing up placing the teas out on the table. For now, he WAS me employer and I HAD to be at least civil...

( Yup! )
I made sure everything was good, then sat down for some breakfast.

(I want a cookie... Really badly)

"Cream or sugar?" I asked, going around to every table, pausing at his in turn.

( I want one too... Cookie party! )

"Four of each." I said in a cheery manner.

"Uh, alright?" I replied a little surprised and did as he asked. "Anything else?"

(NO JUST MY COOKIE!)

( I'll bring a lot. )

"That should do it for now! In case you can't tell, I despise black coffee!" I smiled. I'd need to make her feel a bit more relaxed, so friendly should work.

I gave a tiny, forced smile and nodded. When I turned away and was far enough towards the next table I made a little face and finished serving them.

( I have french vanilla thingies! )

I made a face. "Terrible actor, aren't we?" I whispered to myself.

(Well I have Caramel Apple Pie cookies! BOOM BABY!!)

"What is is problem? I'm just an employee..." I grumbled and went back to the kitchen, letting one of my girls finish the rounds.

I went on about my breakfast, then we landed.

(Teehee! I'm not gonna say what I usually say to that- it may scare you away lmfao!)

I was just done getting cleaned up when we landed and I rolled down my sleeves and took off my apron, heading up onto the deck to see what the commotion was all about.

( Go ahead, I've heard worse! )

I smiled to the general public. "Gentlemen, gentlemen! Come find a lovely wife for your own! Find a real beauty and take her home today for cheap!"

(When, where and how hard? Lmfao some odd reason that always creeps people out I don't see how!!)

I looked at him, dumb founded. I fell for one of those adds! I knew it was far too good to be true! Finding work in Washington, more like sell me cheap to a man who could 'handle' me! "What a little cheat..." I said to myself and placed my hands on my hips, glaring at him fro the deck.

( Your house, last night, and however hard you want! Trust me, I can be creepy beyond belief. )

A few girls were sold that day, but a good most of them stayed. I went to my cabin and put on more comfortable clothing before going to lunch.

(My house LAST night? Woah there, woah there lmfao how come I don't remember this then!!)

I stomped my way back down to the kitchen after witnessing what had happened today. "There is no way in heaven that I'm being sold to a man just so I can bear his children and he can keep something he deems valuable. It's not right and it's just- disgusting." I grumbled as I furiously stirred the soup for lunch.

( The drugs worked well. )

I walked in. "Alright, then! Your count for diner went down by 5!"

"Wonderful." I muttered and rolled my eyes. "Not a shocker there...."

( Nope, they worked really well. )
I sighed. "Just relax, it mans your work load went down."

(Again- LIES!)

"Whether I'm cooking for one or a hundred, I still work just as hard. So it really doesn't matter what my work load is." I replied and turned to face him, wiping my hands on my apron. "Do you really need something or may I please get back to lunch?"

( What ever! )

I gave her a face. "Maybe you would like a drink. You need to relax some."

"I don't drink." I said curtly. "Turns people into animals." I muttered and shook my head. "Are you done sir?"

"Quite." I walked away silently. She would be the hardest sell ever.

I smirked at his retreating back and turned back to lunch, using my annoyance and my anger to get it done quickly and efficiently.
