Naveen

I kissed her, bending my elbows until I eventually just rested on my forearms, a portion of my weight also pressed against her.

Rina:

I gave a little purr of plesure and arched my back so I was touching as much of him as my body could.

Talon:

I absently stroked the bare soft skin that lay on top of me. My eyes were closed, one arm splayed out on the cushion, the other busy with the gentle touches. I didn't know quite how much time had passed but I knew it had been a long time. Stamina was something I had, and I had just found that it applied to more than just staying up...or combat. I didn't know what to say to her, what to think, what to do. I was simply lost in content full bliss.

Rina:

I was half laying on top of him, chest to chest with my head on his shoulder. I was utterly exhausted and lost in a blissful haze. The silence was filled by the sound of his strong hear beat through his shoulder and in moments I was lulled to sleep.

I smiled softly when I felt her fall asleep on top of me. I planted a soft kiss on top of her head before I gently, carefully picked her up and moved her to my bed. Before I had gone into my drinking spree I had shed my armor and clothes on top of the bed. So I moved them before tucking her in gently in the midsts of the giant bed. My eyes ran over her soft curves for a moment before I stood up and murmured a gentle good night to her. I crossed to the doorway and left to the training room. I was full of energy, but it was a different energy than I had ever felt before.

Rina:

I jolted awake and found myself naked in a bed I had never been in before. Everything came back in a rush. I didn’t know what to do now besides find my clothes. Listening to the soft sounds coming from another room, I slid out of the bed and went to find my dress on the floor. I was thankful that he wasn’t in the room still. I had no idea what to say to him, or how to act with him when I saw him again. After I pulled my dress on I grabbed a couple things to eat from the little table then made my way silently out of the room. Once I was out of his quarters I made my way down the hallway, going back the way I had come this afternoon. Judging by the light from the windows it had been a few hours since… I had fallen asleep.

Talon:

I had stopped in my training when I heard her moving about, but by the time I finished putting away what I had been doing she was already gone. I wasn't sure if it was a good thing or not. In either case I felt strangely unhappy that she had left.

Rina:

I got back to our rooms and quietly crept in trying not to wake the girls. Once I was curled up in bed I let my mind go over the day. I had loved just about every minute with him. I couldn’t deny that now, not after all that we had done.

I picked up my place absently for a moment before giving in and calling for a maid. I moved out of the room, grabbing a shirt on my way before heading barefoot to the training grounds my soldiers used. I needed something to clear my head.

Rina:

I was angry with myself when I woke up and could think clearly. What had I done? It was crazy and so unlike myself. I had never done anything like it before, not that I hadn’t been with people before, but not like that. Not with someone who I had to work with. It was Talon. I couldn’t stand him, not on an ordinary day.

Yesterday had happened, I told myself, due to extenuating circumstances. Talon wasn’t being Talon, he was Savien. And it was only one day that he could be that way. I had given into myself, and shared in his one day of not being who I had to be. That was why yesterday had happened. And it was a onetime thing.

Talon:

I had fought and trained with my soldiers nearly through the night before I was asleep in my room, my face pressed against the spot that Rina had been laying hours before. When I woke up for the day, I got dressed before heading out into the fortresses city, greeting my people as I went.

Rina:

After I got dressed Maleen came into my room to ask me if I wanted to join her and Wren for breakfast. She always wanted to include me. I followed them to the dining hall. Today I was wearing a grayish silver dress that flattered my figure. I was not a fan of wearing dresses, but the elven made clothing was incredibly soft.

Wren:

I skipped along ahead of the others, fully at home in my tunic and leggings. I had soft leather shoes that a servant had brought me as well and I had a lot of fun in learning how the baths worked in our connected rooms. I was just bright and happy today, and I couldn't really say why.

Maleen:

I smiled happily watching Wren. She always seemed to brighten any day and put a smile on anyone’s face. You couldn’t help but adore her.

Wren:

An elf child, the only one I had ever seen so far came running up and I scooped her up much to her delight. She burst into giggles and chattered away in a tongue I didn't recognize. I blew a raspberry on her cheek and she sent herself into tinkling laughter. The two who were obviously her parents came up and I chatted happily with them before returning the little girl to her parents. As they walked away I spun around and beamed at Maleen and Rina.

Rina:

I smiled watching Wren. Dorian caught my eye as he walked up, also smiling at her. I remembered being annoyed with him yesterday for prying into my history and Wren’s. “Morning Ladies.” He said with a little bow to the girls.

I skipped back over to the group and did my best to curtsy with the tunic. "Good morning." I finished my curtsy and began bouncing a little bit in place.

Dorian:

My smile brightened. “You seem to be in a cheery mood today.” I commented falling in place beside her as they started walking again. Maleen was shortly behind us.

"We are safe, and we can check out Mister Talon's home. Everyone here is so nice and helpful too, what isn't there to be cheerful about?" I flashed him a bright smile my hands moving to be clasped behind me.

Dorian:

“They are very helpful.” I nodded. “Speaking of checking out the place, maybe I could take you to the library later. I’ve been studying family’s there for the past few nights.”

"I can't read though, so I don't think I would be much help." I spread my hands apologetically for a moment before clasping them together.

Dorian:

“You can’t read?” The three of us simultaneously asked. I raised my eyebrows in surprise. “I guess I just assumed… I could teach you if you like?” I offered.

"No? Should I be able too?" I asked looking from person to person in surprise. I could read the language of the angels, but with that lacking as a reading source...I couldn't really read anything.

Maleen:

“I just thought you would be able to…” I said softly, stepping up to be by her side opposite Dorian. “All the times I was studying those books you never said anything.” I said

I shook my head, "I just looked at the pictures, and you had enough work to do than to just teach me..." I shuffled my feet uncomfortably, not realizing that this was such a big deal.
