"Oh, well if you can teach me I would love to learn. It sounds like a good skill to learn!" She smiled at Dorian then to Maleen. "Maybe I can be some help that way."

 

"Sure! I would love to get some help."With both of you helping, I'm sure to get it even faster!" I linked my arm around Maleen's and Dorian's arms.

 

I let them go as we neared the tables. "Could you both get all of us food? I have to ask Rina something." I flashed them a cheerful smile before I went over and linked my arm through Rina's.

Rina:

I looked at her curiously as the other two left. “Is everything alright?” I asked. I had become very protective of the girls, and the first thing I thought of was that she was going to tell me some problem she was having.

"I saw you sneaking around with Talon last night. Did the two of ya finally make up and play nice?" I asked as I led her to a bench seat and sat down. My eyes danced with playfulness but my smile was all mischief.

 

"Oh....well I came from heaven this time...but I was born..." I paused and closed my eyes. I very faintly glowed for a brief moment before my eyes slowly opened. "Agrasia, I was born in the kingdom of Agrasia. In the capital Mairn." I blinked for a moment then lifted my eyes to Rina. I didn't know it, but Agrasia had fallen nearly three thousand years ago.

Rina:

I frowned at her. "Don't say things like that. Not to anyone but Maleen and me. And not out where anyone can here you." I told her quietly. I didn't know where Agrasia was, but it certainly wasn't on any map I had ever seen.

I blinked and ducked my head. "I'm sorry...I don't like having to hide, but since you and Maleen think its a good idea I'll keep it to myself." I moved over and rested my head on her shoulder.

 

"I know..." I murmured leaning against her. Before the others came back I made myself sit up and be cheerful again, talking animatedly about the sights I had gotten to see of the city from the bedroom window.

 

Talon:

I moved among my people, quietly interacting with them. I made it to the cooks and grabbed my meal just like any other person.

 

Talon:

I joined a group of warriors, when about halfway through a bell started tolling. Every elf seemed to grow more subdued and myself along with any of the metal lined warriors got to our feet. There was no rush, just subdued acceptance.

Maleen:

I paused in talking and looked up when the bell rung. The energy in the room shifted and I could feel it. I wished I was sitting next to Wren instead of Dorian, I felt like I needed to be closer to her, just in case.

Rina:

I watched Talon calculating. From the look on his face the bell meant more than the time of day.

Talon:

I grimaced and set down my meal, getting up. I made a few gestures and some of the men wearing red armbands came up to me. I gave them quiet orders before running a hand over my face.

 

"We are under attack. Nothing to worry about, so long as you all stay away from the walls. My men can hold the walls and those of us who can go out of the walls will take care of what is out there." I told her, with a small shrug.

Rina:

"Is there anything I can, or should do?" I asked, what I had been planning to talk to him about before now forgotten as the soldier in me addressed the situation.

"I need to suit up. The best thing you can do is try to keep everyone calm. My men and I can handle this, we are practiced enough at it." I said after a moment of looking at her.
