The vampire and the human(reserved)

Three soldiers appeared in the door. My voice was altered through the technology in my helmet but it was clear my voice was trembling. "I haven't found it yet im still looking though" I said stepping backwards. "You better hurry" one soldier barked and I jumped looking faster

I shook a little more, peaking out through one of the holes in the door.

I was trembling as I looked throuh the papers. It had to be here. Had to. I slipped crashing into the papers and searched more

I jumped again with each loud sound. He was getting closer to the closet. I cursed silently, at least I thought I did.

I heard a noise and spun my gun drawn "who is there?" I asked aiming my gun at the closet walking towards it

My eyes were wide, quickly pressing my back to the back wall of the closet. I made no noise.

I headed to the closet slowly opening it peering inside

I did my best to stay still, my eyes shut as I tried to blend in with the darkness of the closet.

"Give me the documents" I ordered my voice altered by the device in the helmet

I opened my eyes, looking up at him. "I don't have them." I spoke calmly.

"Theb what's behind you that your hiding?" I asked stepping towards her

"Just some repeats of what you have gone through already. I need to keep copies." I began to shake again, staring at his pistol. I was going to die.

"Don't lie to me. Give me what I need and no harm will come to you" I said staring her down behind the visor. "I don't want to use force but I will if I have to"

"You'll kill me after I give them to you." I stood slowly.

"I won't as long as you don't give me any reason to. Now hand me the files" I said taking another step towards her

I pressed my back into the wall more, hissing at him

"Hand me the files and I'll make sure you don't get hurt" I said urgency in my voice

I heard more footsteps outside the room, shaking a little more. I pulled him inside the closet and shut the door, my hand clamped over his mouth. The other humans were looking around the room.

I guess I was a teenage boy at heart still. I was trapped In a closet with a vampire. It was dark and no one could see us. A deep blush came onto my cheeks and I was glad to have to helmet on. I watched the men tear the room apart "he had his chance. He failed. I'm gonna kill him" one of the soldiers spat and I jumped at her threat thankfully I jumped silently not making a sound

Once I heard them leave I let go of him, shaking still. "I-i can't give you my research." I said again, keeping the folders tightly against my chest.

"Why not?" I said my voice lower now. Calmer. "We want it to make a cure. We want to help those who became vampires and don't want it. We can help cure vampirism"

"You want it as a weapon!" I growled at him. "I know you humans. You wouldn't do anything to help us. You may think you're going to help, but your directors have a different idea."

"We're not using it as a weapon. You don't know me. Don't knkw the pain vampires have caused me. But I want to help" I growled my anger rising. Suddenly my anger was replaced with shock as she pushed me pinning me against the wall. I swallowed hard looking at her. She was stunning no doubt about that I struggled under her grip. I couldn't move at all

"That's what they want you to think. But I know they better than you do, human." I growled again. "They've been after this research for years, and they want it as a weapon. They've been after this since before you were born."

I struggled to break free and she pushed me back harder against the wall and I both felt a beard a loud pop followed by a surge of pain. I cried out softly wearily struggling to get free. She had no idea how strong she truly was. My shoulder was dislocated.
