Ashton:

I sighed deeply. “Okay, I know where you are.” I was ready to leave the house. “I want you to get in the passenger side of you car and wait for me, okay? I won't be long. Don't drive anywhere, and don't unlock the doors until I get there, okay? I have to hang up the phone now,” I told her.

Emily:
I straightened up against the wall and closed my eyes again to focus. "Wait...what?" I mumbled. "You can't come here!" I yelled, getting the attention of a group of people leaving the bar. I had only just remembered how angry I was at him. "L-listen," I started again, trying to sound as reasonable and not drunk as possible. "I'm toooootally fine. You can stay home and smoke some more cigarettes and maybe kick a puppy while you're at it," I said, failing miserably at not sounding bitter.

Ashton:

I sighed again. “If there was one I probably would,” I muttered in annoyance. “Get in the car. I'll send Tasha to get you.” I said before hanging up the phone and going to grab the bike. Tasha would be busy, and further more she would be upset that Emily was drunk. On top of that she would probably find out what I had to do with the incident and be pissed at me.

Emily:
I kept my phone to my ear for five very long seconds before I realized he had actually hung up on me. I grumbled to myself as I pushed off the wall, a little too hard, stumbling forward. I managed to catch myself before hitting the ground. However, when a girl rushed past me to hug one of her friends, I lost my balance again and this time I wasn't so lucky. I could feel the tiny scrapes in my hands but I brushed them on my jeans and stood up slowly, deciding to deal with it later. I made my way to my car and started fumbling with the keys, trying to find the unlock button. "Well, you look like you're ready for a good time...I don't even have to buy you a drink first," I heard a voice say from behind me. I felt a hand reach for my arm but I was too slow to pull it away. He wasn't being rough, but I couldn't seem to remember why it would be odd for a guy to corner a girl in a dark parking lot. So I didn't say anything. And when he leaned in closer to press his lips against mine, I also couldn't remember why I shouldnt let him. I kissed him back for a what felt like only few seconds before I felt him start to pull me in what I assumed what the direction of his car. "N-no..." I mumbled, moving sluggishly to pull away from him. "My friend...she's picking me up now... " I tried to tell him, but it was like he couldn't hear me. Maybe I wasn't being loud enough? "MY FRIEND..." I started to yell.

Ashton:

I raced to the bar, by the time I rolled up my legs were burning. I saw the big cat sign for Charlie's Bar and pulled into the parking lot. The music coming from the inside was loud. I found her car empty and looked around the front of the bar for her.

“Emily?” I shouted, getting ready to head inside to find her.

Emily:
I heard my name and forced myself to stop being pulled. "See? Thats me. I'm Emily! That's my friend!" I said, getting louder and louder. The guy stop pulling my arm, seemed to take one look at "friend" and let go. He mumbled something as he walked away and for some reason, it made me feel...gross. I had made out with him and the only reason I stopped was being Ash showed up. "Ashton! I told you not to come!" I exclaimed, remembering that I had indeed said those words. I turned around, hoping he had heard me and how angry I was.

Ashton:

I walked over to her and put my hand on her back sending a death glare in the direction of the guy who had been with her.

“Are you okay?” I asked her. I was relieved that the guy had left before I got ahold of him. It would have been an entirely different night otherwise.

Emily:
"No! No, I'm not okay, because i'm very drunk and that guy thinks i'm a whore, and you told me to fuck off and I dropped my keys and Charlie is still missing," I told him. I pushed his arm off me and bent to look under a car for my keys. Ask me how they could have fallen under a car and I couldn't tell you, but it made sense.

Ashton:

I sighed and got down on my hands and knees to help her look. I scanned my phone flashlight over the ground with no luck. “This is Charlie's Bar, the cat isn't missing,” I informed her as I searched for the keys. “I didn’t know you were going to go off the deep end.” Two girls came out of the car, giggling at us for being on the ground looking.

Emily:
I felt my face heat up. I know they were laughing because we were on the ground, in a dirty parking lot. But it felt like they were laughing directly at me. That, paired with his comment about going off the deep end, filled my eyes with tears. I was too drunk to hold them in and sniffled as I crawled on the floor with a new resolve to find the keys and get out of here.

Ashton:

“You're not crying, are you?” I asked her, kneeling on the ground as I looked over at her. “Emily, you're drunk, everything will be better once we find the keys and get you home.” I stood up and went over to her to help her up of the ground. “I'm going to go inside and ask if anyone found keys.”

Emily:
"No need. I found them," I said, my voice sounding muffled from tears. I sniffled, grasping at my blue keychain that was laying by the wheel of someones car. I waved off his hand that was trying to help and pulled myself off the ground. "Here." I said, shortly, holding the keys out to him. I was sure my eyes looked puffy at this point so I kept them on the keys.

Ashton:

I took the keys and nudged her in the direction of the passengers side. After I went to retrieve my fallen bike, I forced it into the trunk of her car then went around to the drivers side.

“I'm sorry for today Em. I was having a bad day and I took it out on you.” I turned to face her while I spoke instead of starting the car.

Emily:
I didn't bother putting my seatbelt on. I just started out the window so he wouldn't see my eyes fill with tears again. "You're not sorry. You did exactly what you wanted to do, and said exactly what you wanted to say," I said.

Ashton:

“I wont deny that, but I am sorry.” I left it at that as I backed the car up. I left her alone for the short car ride home until we pulled into the driveway. I went around to help her out of the car.

“What's say we get you something to eat then watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire while you recover?” I asked her as I opened her door.

Emily:
I got out of the car, not shrugging him off this time. "You only want to watch it because I cried and you feel bad," I accused. He was using my love of Harry Potter against me. However, I was still pretty drunk and watching Harry Potter sounded amazing.

Ashton:

“You aren't wrong.” I guided her inside and stat her down on the couch. After I set up Harry Potter, I got her a huge glass of water and then went to the kitchen to make us both grilled cheeses.

“Drink your water,” I said as I sat down with the plate for both of us.

Emily:
I took a sip of the water and grabbed a pillow to set my plate on top of, like a little table. It just so happened to be the pillow from the first night and I sighed. "I don't want you to sit here if you're only doing it cause you feel bad," I said. "So if thats what this is, just go," I said, as soon as the movie started. We've never sat through I movie without talking and this one wouldnt be different.

Ashton:

“I like Harry Potter just as much as you,” I answered with a shrug, my eyes on the screen. It was a lie of course, I had never met a girl more obsessed than she was. After she had left the house earlier I had gone in to shower, change, and brush my teethe. Now she was the one who reeked of indulgence.

Emily:
That wasn't what I was asking him and he knew it. But I decided to let it go for tonight. I took a bite of the grilled cheese he had made and looked at the screen. I would just have to remember that he wasn't sitting here because he was my friend. Every time I went to make a comment about the movie, I opened my mouth and then quickly closed it. That was only for friends.

Ashton:

I watched her from the corner of my eye half the time. Usually she was a chatterbox, but not now. She fidgeted with unsaid comments, I wondered what her thinking was behind keeping quiet.

“I wish they would have spent more time on 12 Grimmauld Place in the movie. And there's nothing about Buckbeak.” I commented with a sideways glance at her.

Emily:
"Buckbeak didn't get nearly the amount of time he deserved," I said, before I could stop it. "Like, I understand there's only so much you can include in the movies, but they should have broken each book into two movies to make it work." I rambled a little

Ashton:

I smiled inwardly at her taking the bait. “Fourteen is a lot of movies, and it would have taken twice as long to do that. They could have made each one into a mini series though, that might have been cool.” I finished the rest of my sandwich and put the plate on the coffee table next to my feet.

Emily:
"Or it could have been a TV show or something," I said. I had set the sandwich aside a while ago, and now it was long forgotten. "I think I would like to be in a TV show," I said, hugging the pillow to my stomach.

Ashton:

“You want to be an actress?” I asked, surprised. Most of our conversations had been about random things and opinions, we hadn't talked so much about ourselves to each other.
