Body Guard

I didn't move right away, choosing to rest on the couch for a few extra minutes before finally getting up and going to the spare bedroom she'd indicated. Closing the door before I went for the closet I poked around and finally found a set of my sweats and an old t-shirt. Stripping naked I slid into the two articles of clothing and then folded my discarded clothing. Satisfied I went back out and laid across the couch with a sigh.

Julie:
After changing, I made my way back to the couch and put my hands on my hips in front of it. He was laying across the entire thing. "The chair isn't as comfy as the couch, make some room," I said, pushing at his shoulder.

Groaning I shifted, dragging me feet and legs off half the couch to give her room. I kept my torso laying flat and my head propped up on the arm rest. "Better?"

Julie:
I tried to hide my laugh as he sat down. "Why are you so cranky all of a sudden?" I asked. I grabbed the pants legs of his sweat pants and dragged them with me so they were now on top of my legs so he was still generally in the same position he had been in, just with me underneath. "Does someone need a nap?" I asked.

"I've had a long and exhausting day. First I had to dress all nice for my boss. Kept her safe. Then got yelled at. Worked out for several hours. Then got dragged back to your room. I'd love to nap but I don't nap easily. Bed for the night however is sounding decent." I took a moment to get comfortable in the new position then slid a hand under my head while keeping both eyes on her.

Julie:
I bit my lip to stop my smile for the second time in thirty seconds. "She yelled at you?" I asked with a fake raised eyebrow, like I was scandalized. "That's horrible, you should quit," I joked. My hands were resting on his shins and when he started whining about his day, I rubbed my hands gently over the material of his sweats, down the the top of his feet, sort of like a massage but without digging my fingers in.

"God, if only I could. Have you ever met someone who so remarkably frustrating it was everything you could do not to strangle them, all while they were also an amazing person inside and out." I gave a dramatic sigh though a crooked smile covered my lips. "I'd have to say I wouldn't change this job for the world though." Her hands rubbing on my legs felt amazing in it's own way. It was innocent and yet a bit intimate at the same time and over all just felt utterly casual.

Julie:
"What was that? Did you say amazing person? I couldn't quite hear you," I said, smiling back at him. "I don't think I'd want anyone else to annoy me all day..." I said, softly. I moved my hands to his feet and wiggled his toes playfully. "You know, I was the one who wore heels all day," I said, jokingly.

"Do I annoy you?" I asked while carefully jerking my feet away from her hands. I was ticklish only at the bottoms of my feet. Settling my legs carefully back across her lap I gave her a nod. "I wasn't knocking what you've done today. You deserve to be just as tired as me. I don't know if I'd last more than a few hours in heels before I'd give up."

Julie:
"You annoy me cause you're right all the time," I said, giving him a look. When he jerked his feet away, I smirked. "Oh yeah..." I mumbled. I had discovered his ticklish feet when we were little. I hadn't even thought that he might still be. Do people grow out of being ticklish? "You mean you wouldn't last more than thirty seconds in heels," I corrected. I ran my thumb from the top of his toes to the bottom of his heels, just to amuse myself.

Jerking my feet away from her I mock glared at her for a moment then shoved my feet under her thigh. "Hm. I think I could last a few minutes. Unless you wanted me to walk. Don't know how long I could do that."

Julie:
I laughed and grabbed his ankle. "Okay, okay, I'll stop, put them back!" I giggled. "And no, you couldn't, you'd be a baby about it," I told him, seriously.

Wiggling my toes under her thighs for a moment I asked, "Stop what now?" Finally pulling my feet out I laid my legs across her lap again.

Julie:
I giggled again when I felt his toes wiggling and went back to my gently touching. "I know you said you were gonna stay here tonight and you know I want you too, but I dont want you to feel like you have to. If youre more comfortable in your room, that's okay," I assured him.

I waved a hand, "I'm just as comfortable here as I am in my room. Only difference is style and how soft everything is." I meant it too. When we were kids I spent more nights here than I had in my own room. But after growing up some I felt more like I shouldn't stay. Now that we were both adults it didn't bother me near as much.

Julie:
I shrugged. "Okay, if you say so," I said. I took one hand off his leg and grabbed the remote to turn the tv on to something quiet. I kicked my legs up onto the coffee table and settled in

I didn't pay much attention to the tv after she turned it on. In fact I had more focus on her even as my eyes grew heavier and heavier. I went over the day multiple times in my head, trying to figure out what I could have done differently all while making plans for the next few days and her 'training'. Before I knew it I drifted off with a quiet sigh.

Julie:
After a while of watching some game show on the TV, I looked over to see if he wanted to head to bed soon, only to find he was already asleep. I smiled softly and shut off the TV before very gently sliding out from under his legs and heading to the guest room to grab a blanket for him.

I stirred only a little bit after she came back, eyes fluttering open for a moment even though I didn't wake up in the slightest. I mumbled something though the exact words used were anyones guess.

Julie:
His incoherent mumbling was kind of cute if I was being honest. I drapped the blanket over him and gently ran my fingers through his hair once. "Night Cody," I whispered before heading to my own room.

Exhaustion dragged me deep into sleep but I was so used to waking up early that the morning was no exception. It was a struggle as I peered around blearily to remember where I was and why I was sleeping on a couch instead of a bed. As it all came back to me I made a face. I knew no one would blame me for falling asleep on the job like that.

Groaning softly as I got to my feet I went to check on Jules. I doubted she'd have gotten up, but I had to be sure. It felt a bit strange to open her door but I felt I had to check. I didn't linger as I gazed at her form in the bed, letting the door close softly after I was sure she'd remained. Satisfied I folded up the blanket and set about making myself coffee while getting Emily in the kitchen to send breakfast up in a few hours for Jules.

Julie:
A few hours after sunrise, I stirred awake and kicked the covers off myself. I pulled on some sweatpants didnt bother fixing my hair. After slipping on my glasses, i walked out of my room and looked for Cody. I knew he must be up by now.

I sat at the table, sipping at a mug of coffee and reading one of the novels I borrowed from her bookshelf. I had never thought to question her choice in literature. The book was a trashy little romance and it had my eyebrow raised with every sip of coffee.

Julie:
I walked barefoot into the kitchen to grab a mug for coffee and glanced over to see what he was doing. "What is tha-" i stopped and squinted. "Why are reading that?" i asked, my voice still sounding sleepy

"It was the first thug I grabbed. Plus I was waiting for the sleeping beauty to rise from her bed." I looked up from the book and smirked.
