Body Guard

Julie:
I rolled my eyes and smirked. "Yeah, you're disgusting," I said, sarcastically. "Come on, you saw her. She was practically salivating over you," I said, looking over the food. I grabbed a cup of fruit and a fork and started in on that.

"What are you talking about?" Frowning I looked towards the door with furrowed brows. The girl had been flustered. But I remembered her, she was dating one of the drivers. Why drool over me? "Look, maybe you are right. But if you are right in this case then you were wrong earlier. You were not gross and disgusting."

Julie:
"Oh no, I was totally gross," I told him, shoving a piece of melon in my mouth. "But answering the door after doing like a thousand pushups like it was no big deal?" I pointed my fork at him and smirked. "She was digging it," I said.

(( Kayla Catch wanted me to apologize for not being on. She is doing summer classes and they are draining her more than she expected!))

Snorting I grabbed a bagel from the tray and began to spread cream cheese atop it. "She has no way of knowing that's what I was doing. I just answered the door drenched in sweat."

Julie:
"Mhm," I mumbled around another bite. "Sure, whatever you say Cody," I kicked my feet up and savored the fruit. After not eating all yesterday, the food was doing wonders. "Next time you're at the gym, take a look around every once in a while," I smirked again. I knew people looked at him at the gym. I didn't even have to be there to know that.

"Alright..." Shrugging it off I focused on breakfast. She herself was always drawing looks. It didn't matter what she wore or where she went. She had a lot to desire. Her heritage and family were a draw for those looking for money or power. And you only had to look at her to see how beautiful she was. It was the rare few that drew up the courage to approach her that got to see a sharp wit. And fewer still who got close enough to find out just how special she was.

Julie:
I finished the fruit cup and got up to see what else there was. I grabbed a bagel and ripped it in half cause I was starting to get a little full. "Well the only thing we had planned today, we already did. So I dont know what else we can do," I told him.

"Shopping. I don't know if getting a dress or something online is the same as buying in person. But at the very least accessories or something?" I threw the idea out after mulling it over for a bit.

Julie:
I frowned and shook my head. "I have to know what dress I'm getting before I start buying accessories," I told him. I wanted to go to the store but I wanted to go as Cody and Jules. Not as me and my bodyguard with potential threats. 

((oh, sorry I didnt realize))

"Ah. Well hm." I poured a glass of juice and sipped at it. Slowly I tried to work out what we could do in our time now. She hadn't seemed interested in going anywhere the night before, nor had she wanted friends over.

Julie:
After I was full from all the breakfast food, I got to work cleaning up a bit. "But listen, just because I dont plan on leaving the room, doesnt mean you can. You have a life outside of me, you know?" I said. "You dont have to just sit here," I told him.

"And what would I do?" A few ideas sprung to mind, "And what would you do while I was gone?"

Julie:
"Well I would sit here and watch TV," I told him, grabbing for the remote. "I have no idea what you would do. Dont you have friends? Go on a date. Read a book. The world is your oyster, you can do whatever you want," I told him.

"Friends yes. Date would be unlikely. I can think of a few to ask. But I think I'd rather see who is confident or brace enough to do the asking first." I frowned and crossed my arms. "Probably why I don't have a girlfriend...still I prefer a girl who knows what she wants." It was rare she and I talked about our preferences or what we wanted in a relationship. It had always been an almost unspoken taboo. I never asked about any of the people she'd dated and she always told me who was interested in me but not usually any more.

Standing I put away my own dishes and eyed her. "I will leave you be. If you want to go somewhere you had better let me know. If I have to go hunting for you...". I left the threat hanging.

Julie:
I rolled my eyes at his threat. "Again, not scared of you," I reminded him. "But I wont leave this room, I promise," I said, holding my hand up like a girl scout. "And if you're looking for interested girls, try smiling at them once or twice." I said. I walked over and messed up his hair a little. "And maybe look a little less like a body guard.

I narrowed my eyes at her and batted at her hand. "I look just fine thank you very much." Still as I ran a hand through my hair, feeling how she'd messed up the short locks. I hadn't really been looking for a relationship, but the one other one I'd been in was something I missed. There was something nice about just holding onto someone you care about. Brooke had long since moved away and we'd parted on good terms. Last I'd heard she was in a relationship again and was incredibly happy.

Julie:
I smirked. "I didn't say you looked bad," I told him. My eyes dropped down to give him a once over and I couldn't even jokingly say he looked bad because he didn't. "I'm just saying, I've seen you approach girls," I said, holding my hands up innocently. "You're a little...stiff."

I frowned and furrowed my brows. Maybe she was right, I was a bit stiff. But at the same time I had no patience for girls who fell over themselves to be with me. To often I found such people, even among her friends. "Maybe...". Brushing it off I shrugged. "I have my phone. I will be around the complex."

Julie:
I nodded and made my way back to the sofa. "Sounds good. Have fun. Dont stay out too late young man," I said, pointing a playful finger at him. I plopped myself on the couch and made myself comfortable.

Snorting I called over my shoulder, "I'm the good one who doesn't get in trouble." Closing the doors to her wing behind me I set off for my room. So long as I was going to relax today I might as well change into something different. I didn't really have any plans. Maybe go to the range, read a book, and maybe work on changing out some of my wardrobe.

Julie:
As soon as the door locked behind him, I got up from the couch to grab my computer. I couldn't shop for my dress but that didn't mean I couldn't buy anything. I needed a few new tops and things. 

I wasn't sure if Cody would be coming back here tonight or staying in his room so when I made something for dinner, I left a plate in the fridge, just in case.

The day passed slowly but I felt productive. Two times I had to stop myself from just going to go check in on Jules. I figured she could use the break. I finished my novel, picked up my room, and did a bit of online shopping to replace some of my more worn items. I ate dinner in the mess hall chatting with a few people before finally deciding it was time to check on Jules. I knocked on her wings door before entering. "Still alive?"

Julie:
I turned my head from the couch to look at the door, "I am alive. See? I can stay out of trouble," I told him, turning my attention back to my computer screen. "What have you been doing all day?" I asked. He had been out for a while. Longer than I had thought he would be.

"Impressive for you. I expected you to leave your room and go out. Not maybe out of the manors grounds. But at least out of your room. You usually are not one to do what I tell you to do." I went to the couch and stood behind it, arms folded behind her head so I could look at what she was doing. I gave her the quick version of what I'd done today while peering over her shoulder.
