Beyond the Castle, part one. (Two person.)

Ario:

I had only eaten a little over a half of my soup before standing up. "Alright, lets go."

Araline:

I went back to the horses and stretched long before puled myself up on. I closed my eyes for a moment, this would be the last day we'd see other people, it kept coming back to me. This day weld a lot of lasts.

Ario:

I stretched with her before climbing up onto my horse. I let out a slow sigh and waited for Araline to be ready.

Araline:

I nudged my horse with my heel and it started moving again. “You are sure we can do this?” I asked quietly. “Are you positive you want to do this?”

Ario:

I smiled at her. "As I said before, I have nothing here to stay for. If you want to go back, go ahead. But I am going on, no matter what." I said my voice showing my feelings.

Araline:

I squirmed a little on my horse. “I don't want to go back but what if there is nothing out there?” I asked uncertain.

Ario:

"Then I will send you back and go exploring. If I find something I'll send you a message." I said looking at her.

Araline:

“I don't think I would be able to come back, and I wouldn't leave you any way. I hate it here just as much as you do.” I told him.

Ario:

"But you do have a life here. You have someplace where you belong, as well as people who care about you." I said shaking my head. "You have a reason to stay."

Araline:

“Few people genuinely care about me, and fewer than that care about the true me. I am trapped here having to fake the things I do and that will only get worse the older I get.” I said firmly. “Besides I would rather be out there in a dead world with you then have to marry Tomas.”

Ario:

"Um, thanks? I think?" I said not sure if that it was a good thing or not.

Araline:

I gave him an odd look and pushed my horse to go a little faster. Another two hours or so and we reached the farm fields, we were doing better with time than I thought. The out side wall was in view, small in the distance, but still in view.

Ario:

I felt sick again and so leaning against my horse I explained quietly. "I'm not sure if its a good thing that I am better than Tomas. All I know is that he hates me, because he thinks that you like me." I said my mind not limiting my speech. When I felt sick, I tended to say things I didn't usually say.

Araline:

“I do like you, your head isn't stuck up in the clouds.” I said glancing at him. “But I know how you meant. But it is definitely a good thing you are better than him, if you weren't I would have no one to come with me, and honestly I am not sure I could do this alone.”

Ario:

"I wondered once a long time ago if I liked you like Tomas does. I never really figured it out, I decided that it didn't matter. If I did, then I did, if I didn't, then I didn't. All I knew is that you probably had enough guys flirting with you, that it would be stupid to do it too." I shrugged. "I'm still not sure, and I still think it doesn't matter."

Araline:

I watched him carefully having no idea what was going though my mind only that we should not have been talking about this, not now. I took in a breath. “Are you feeling okay?” I asked finally though clearly he wasn't.

Ario:

This question brought me up short, and I fully came to my senses. "I...I'm sorry, when I don't feel well I tend to speak with out thinking."

Araline:

I studied him then dropped my gaze down to my green dress. “It's fine, Ario.” I said softly not sure what to think about what he said.

Ario:

I sighed silently glad that she couldn't see my face right now. I hoped that between this and what had happened before didn't ruin things between us.

Araline:

We rode in silence for a while until as I glanced around casually I saw some one ahead in the dirt road. It was some one I recognized, I realized with horror. I slid off quickly in between the two horses. I dug my cloak out of my bag and slung it around my shoulders with the hood up. “Stay on and try not to look so sick please.” I hissed to Ario.

Ario:

"You do know thats like asking me not to breath right?" I asked in response. I sat up and taking several deep breaths, made it look like everything was fine with me.

Araline:

I laughed once and quietly unable to stop myself. As we passed the man he nodded toward Ario then watched me for a moment but passed without a word. I sighed in relief but didn't get back onto the horse right away. “You can breathe, now.” I told Ario with a smile.

Ario:

I flashed her a smile, before saying. "You know you can get on at anytime, I feel a bit bad when a princess is forced to walk."

Araline:

My expression went flat. “I told you a million times that I am not a princess, not exactly.” I said as I pulled myself up.

Ario:

I rolled my eyes. "Your nobility. I am less than a peasant. Why did you ever pick me in the first place?" I asked looking at her.
