Beyond the Castle, part one. (Two person.)

Araline:

I slowed my horse down to a stop and slid down. "Come on, get down." I told Ario while tying my horse to a post.

((Were still in the castle right?))

Ario:

I slid to the ground and tied my horse next to hers before practically collapsing on the ground. I sat crosslegged and a bit hunched over, taking several deep breaths.

((Yes, but at this point it isn't as compacted.))

Araline:

I bent over next to him and lightly put my hand on his back. “Are you okay?” I asked caring, holding my hair to one side so it wasn't danging in my face.

((Ah ok.))

Ario:

I nodded and looking up at her. "Yeah, just give me a moment." I let my head hang again.

Araline:

I straightened out with a nod and got my water flask from my saddle bag and took a long drink before offering it down to him.

Ario:

When something entered my vision I looked at it for several moments before taking it gratefully. I took a few long sips before offering it back. "Thank you, I'm better now."

Araline:

I put it back in my bag and leaned against the stone wall with my hands behind my back. The people passing us on the street were giving us odd looks but we had yet to be recognized and the further out we got the less likely it was. I closed my eyes for a moment resting.

Ario:

"I'm ready to go when you are." I said laying down. I closed my eyes and relaxed, enjoying what moments I had on the ground, since I knew I had to get back onto the horse.

Araline:

I opened my eyes and gazed down at him with mild amusement. “You say that, but don't really look ready.” I told him.

Ario:

"Well....Hmm....Yeah I got nothing. Just tell me when your ready." I said smiling in her general direction.

Araline:

I smiled and laughed softly closing my eyes and leaning back against the wall. “Just a few more minutes.” I mumbled.

Ario:

"No complaints out of me." I said yawning a bit. I slowly drifted into a half sleep, neither asleep or awake.

Araline:

I met the minutes slowly tick by, more time had past then I had meant and I still didn't want to get back on the horse, my legs were sore. With a sigh I went to Ario and leaned over him. “We have to go.”

Ario:

I opened my eyes and blinked up at her for a moment. With a slow breath out I got up and looked at her. I was startled for a moment, I hadn't realized how close she had been when I was laying on the ground. It was a few scant inches between us right now.

Araline:

I drew in a sharp breath and took a step back my gaze locked in his for a moment. I looked at the ground and took hold on my horses rein leading him forward. "Let us walk for a little while, I think there is a market ahead since we are so close to the farm land. I'm hungry." I said while looking at my feet.

Ario:

I tilted my head in confusion before taking the reins of my horse and leading him. "Ok, lead on then." I said watching her for several moments before following. What had just happened?

Araline:

We walked for a little while, going down a few side streets and then finally coming to the small market. I left my horse tethered to another post and with a kiss on the nose. I glanced up at Ario for a fraction of a second then led him through the isles.

Ario:

I tied up my horse and then followed her. I had seen her look away, and my confusion doubled. Had I done something wrong? I shook my head and watched her, trying to think of what I had done wrong.

Araline:

I got a few things that would keep for a while like dried fruit and things. Finally I stopped in front of a small place selling soup. “Are you hungry?” I asked, I couldn’t see how he wasn’t, I was about to faint from it.

Ario:

"I'll just eat a little. If I eat to much, I might throw it up on the horse." I said truthfully. I was still trying to guess if I had made a mistake or not.

Araline:

I winced at that thought. “Alright.” I said mildly going to get us each a bowl. I cam back and sat at a wooden table in front and stirred my soup a little before taking a bite.

Ario:

I sat down accross from her and slowly ate the soup. I glanced at Araline from time to time, as I ate. I wanted to ask what had happened earlier but couldn't bring myself too.

Araline:

I caught the look he kept giving me, and frowned slightly. “What?” I asked a little defensive in my tone.

Ario:

I looked down into my bowl. I wanted to tell her, or atleast ask, but I wasn't sure. I hesitated before saying. "I'll explain later."

Araline:

I watched him for a moment. “Okay.” I said finally finishing my soup. I sighed. “We should be getting back on our way.”
