Beyond the Castle, part one. (Two person.)

Ario:

I chuckled softly. "I never thought that what I said would be considered nonsense. I know I wasn't taught how to speak like a noble but still." I shook my head and flashed a grin up at her.

Araline:

“Ario.” I chastised. “That isn't what I meant. You know I don't think of myself as better than you just by what I was born into, we are equal, and you are better than me in a lot of ways. I wish you wouldn't call me princess or say I am of nobility. It doesn't matter out here.” I said seriously.

Ario:

"Araline, you do know I only call you princess for two reasons. One when other people are around, and I am supposed to call you that. And two, to tease you. Its cute to see your face when I call you that." I said feeling only slightly chastised.

Araline:

“I don't like it, it makes me feel dirty in a way.” I said quietly.

Ario:

"Never feel bad about who you are Araline." I said up to her. I had never shortened her name, like a lot of people did. I always called people by their full name.

Araline:

I didn't say any thing just took each step one at a time and very slowly. I chewed on my lip and frowned.

Ario:

I let out a soft breath. "What I mean is, make the best of what life gives you. I know you don't want to be called a princess, but that is a part of you, a small part perhaps, but it is you none the less. Just because its a part of you doesn't mean you have to act on it, or ever use it."

Araline:

“But I am not a princess, not really, not technically.” I said softly then took a breath. “I wish I had been like you.”

Ario:

I winced. "You don't want my life..." I said softly, more to myself than her.

Araline:

“And why is that?” I asked looking down at him.

Ario:

"I have nothing, no friends, no family, no one to care about me." I said softly. "You may have hated that people did what they did around you, but they do it because they care. Maybe not you, maybe about you, who knows. But you were surrounded by people who did their best to make you happy. Even if it was in a way you didn't like."

Araline:

My eyes got blurry for a moment. “I care about you, Ario, you have me.” I said while looking at the wall. “I still wish I was like you, I don't need any thing else to be happy hence why I am coming out here and climbing down this awful thing to get away.”

Ario:

I kept silent, lost in my own thoughts. She still didn't understand, but there was not a lot I could tell her to help her understand.

Araline:

I bit my lip for a moment and looked down at him. Thankfully I realized we were not far from the ground.

Ario:

It came as a shock to me when my feet touched the ground. I fell over onto my back blinking in surprise.

Araline:

I grinned carefully took the last few steps to the ground. I leaned over Ario and grinned happily. “No going back now, the world is ours.”

Ario:

"Do you mind if I lay here for a bit? After all as you said, the world is ours. Besides its comfortable right here, you should try it." I said smiling up at her.

Araline:

I laid down next to him so our bodies mad a V with my shoulder close to his. I stared up at the towering wall in front of us the tilted my head back to look at the never ending forest of massive trees.

Ario:

I reached out and gave her hand a squeeze. "We are finally free Araline."

Araline:

I squeezed his hand back and turned my face to look at him, a smile lighting up my face and dancing in my eyes.

Ario:

I turned my head to look at her and I grinned at her, my eyes brightening.

Araline:

I let go of his hand and looked up at the sky lacing my fingers together over my stomach. “Thank you for coming with me.” I said softly.

Ario:

I smiled slightly. "I wouldn't miss it for the world." I said back just as softly.

Araline:

I looked back at him, watching him for several minutes.

Ario:

I smiled up at the sky for a long while, but feeling eyes on me I let my head turn. I looked into her eyes, my eyes still bright and happily.
